This is not a how-to video.
The method I'm using is not necessarily the right one. Nowadays, you can find out the right way to do things by searching on Google. If you only want results, that's fine too.
But for me, the most important thing is not whether a method is right or wrong, It's about experiencing firsthand why it works or fails.
All work is done personally and at my own risk.

A beautiful window from which to watch the birds come and go while in your cabin staying dry from the rain. So satisfying!

私も以前小屋作りましたが窓枠付けるのに苦労しました。採寸したはずなのにずれてしまい上手くはまらずまたやり直しでした。木取り図も見ないでさらっと精度のよい窓枠を取り付けていく手際の良さがすごいですね。DIYのコツも紹介していただけますと参考になります。

So strange to have a hollow wall…no insulation. In 🇨🇦, we would be filling that space and adding a vapour barrier.
Adding more light is always a great idea.

Brucke, since it is so easy to remove your tongue and grove wood walls, why don't you stuff them with insulation to protect your home from the heat and cold? The window is beautiful.

Oh Brucke, you must’ve read my mind! I wondered if you would ever put in another window in that spot on the verandah! I think it looks very nice and it evens up the balance with your other window on your verandah plus adds more light inside the cabin. Great work! Would you ever consider putting in added insulation within the walls and roof to keep the cabin cooler and warmer? You can get wool insulation that would keep it eco friendly and sustainable. I love your video’s and thanks for sharing your knowledge. 🦮🐱🌱🔨🪟🫖🙏🏻♥
