  • Had a great time with Fishhunter Enterprise, bowfishing Florida for some really big stingrays! We also managed to shoot a record ballyhoo and a record skipjack that same night! Saltwater bowfishing gives you some great opportunities to shoot a variety of fish, which is great when you love to eat seafood!

great video...myself and few buddies of mine bowfished for rays for years in chesapeake bay...we had line attached to 5ga. empty jugs similar to the barrels in the movie jaws..the jug tires em out quick and if was night time we had glow sticks attached to the jugs to see em..one arrow per ray to avoid that tangled mess and maybe one more arrow at the boat to help pull em in...100lb ray was very rare but we once shot one that was 123lbs..both bull nose and cow nose that averaged 40-70lbs...cant think of many things more fun than bowfishing and especially bowfishing for rays...loved watching your video..

by any chance you have a name of the reel set up you were using? we always have used the bottle which still is awesome for bowfishing but has it limitations..i always liked the idea of an actual reel with a drag to tire fish out instead of having to pull em in by hand which you still have to do pretty much do with the bottle..thnx

Minigamerpro YT I've already responded that we do eat rays. Our favorite is blackened, but they are also good broiled and fried.
