Yes, just like cars and anything else that is financed.
Sheds are typically on rent-to-own terms and if they fail to make their rental payments we pick them up.
My wish is not for anyone to get anything repossessed but rather for everyone to make great decisions and prosper.
I understand people fall on hard times and that sucks but it all comes down to responsibly, if you can't pay you can always voluntarily return it.

I bought a shed, paid for it in full up front. Can't afford one? Don't buy it. And don't buy crap you don't need. I'm glad to see they repo these things.
They don't buy that crap. They don't have to. The landfills are full of yesterday's flat screens that still work and last years iPhones..I am only exaggerating a little bit. I resent comments like this because assuming that these people are spending their rent money on their possessions is just an excuse for a lack of compassion and understanding when you can't be that dumb in reality.
When we moved out to the country, we bought land with almost zero storage. We ended up donating or gifting about 60% of our stuff. I never felt more relief! Before anyone asks, no, we have NOT replaced it with more stuff. Today, we build things with what we own in mind, and if we don’t need it, we do not buy it!

I donated SO much stuff I'd had for years when I had to retire earlier than anticipated and it was liberating! Then I sat and wondered why I had all the stuff in the first place, guess people, including myself at one time, thought the bigger the house, the more crap you didn't use or need was status or a temporary sense of success....anyway, took me most of my life to live comfy and simply.

Where I live, you have to have everything locked up with double locks or they steal it !! I’ve even had them break into my windows on my shop building and now it’s boarded over .

I rent a storage shed from my landlord for my 2 push mowers,riding lawnmower,extention ladder,grill,truck ramps,lawn cart,garden equipment,gas cans,toolbox.Thats NOT JUNK!!😊

Armchair quarterback here. if I was in your trade I'd have a Rt Angle tool with cutoff blade as standard kit. Hasp or Lock-Be-Gone instantly without shed damage. The screws look like torx, nothing special about them and being used more and more in construction.
I'm always amazed that people who don't pay their bills always have an attorney that they are calling.

That makes sense. She can't or at least hasn't made the payment(s). Contracted payments they agreed to with written stipulations on repossession if payments are not made in full and on time BUT she has an "attorney" she can call if an entity exercises their right of repossession. My surmises are this isn't the first time she's had to watch property she's making payments on be taken away. I've seen the shed dealer's with signs staying $500 down and it'll be delivered. Just like the $500 down buy here pay here car lots they attract the least credit worthy customers. You taking the time and effort leaving their stuff is admirable especially getting nothing but grief for your kindness. Stay Well.

Honestly who in their right mind would not keep up on storage payments and then think you make a trip or two out and they continue to store items in a non paid for storage unit, nope the building can be resold on a lot, this person is way out there on how life works.
You are so calm. I'm not as level headed, I started doing vehicle repo's in 1990. We always notify local LEO before I roll in. But I am always ready for anything and always have a thug to watch my back.

If people would stop buying these “rent to own” sheds at excessive interest rates where you can pay the actual price of the building and still owe thousands this nonsense wouldn’t happen. And during repos it’s illegal to cause a disturbance when repoing. Law enforcement generally doesn’t enforce civil agreements. People should pay what they agreed to though.

These “rent to own” places have always been shady and deceptive. When i say deceptive i mean to customers who dont have a job, only wear pajamas, and somehow can afford cigarettes. I just looked up- this shed is maybe $4000 if you buy outright, but RTO could cost up to $10,000. Of course they want to repo that shed. Even if you only made half the payments you paid $5000 and still dont own it. Thats when reality sets in and they stop paying.

I wouldn't last a day doing this. They'd fire me. I'd have taken the entire unit, with everything in it, and they can came down to the lot to get their stuff. This is a very nice guy doing a lot of work and putting up with this. Hats off!

In alot of cases, I tend to agree. But I have a shop that I store tools, outdoor power equipment, chemicals, and other such things in. Would that be called too much junk/ trash? I wouldn't want to store any of the stuff I store in my shop in my house. That could be Very dangerous.

I know two women who had heart attacks and heart surgery and STILL are smoking against their Dr's wishes🙄😒. Not even that stopped them from smoking 🤨. It amazes me how people put smoking habbits above the feeling of their families love for them.

@@murraychadwick9362 it is very hard to fathom. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer after a lifetime of chain-smoking. Her diagnosis was when she was 60 years old. We sent her to a hypnotist several times but she never really wanted to quit. Her stopping after the diagnosis of lung cancer wouldn't have saved her life but watching her continue to indulge in what was going to kill her was very hard from a family's perspective. After speaking to her oncologist, he explained that at this point the damage was done and if she got any pleasure from smoking why not let her live out her days that way. I didn't like it but he did make me understand from a different perspective so after that point, I never ridiculed her anymore for smoking. She died almost a year to the day after Her diagnosis
