@diezelman956 Hello, that guitar is a PLAY spanish guitar, quite cheap, (around 150 euros, new) I don't really like the preamp it has incorporated but with the AER sounds very good, I think any nylon string guitar would sound great through that amp. Cheers!
The concept was to show a little bit how the amp sounds with a guitar, If I wanted to record the guitar I´d probably use the condenser mic pointing at the instrument, the line is good for live situations but recoding via DI sounds horrible, even you could tell the difference.
I just got a Jose Ramirez 4NCWE electro-classical, and I'm looking for a nice amp for it. The AER Compact Classic Pro says it was designed for classical instruments, but it doesn't say classical guitar specifically. Which do you think would be better between the Compact 60 and the Compact Classic Pro for my Ramirez? I've also heard good things about the AER Domino 3, Acoustic Image amps, the Roland AC-90 and Fishman amps. What do you think would be the best choice?
Hi Tom, Unlucky mate, you must have got a dud or one with a fault. Even at high volumes I have zero hiss on mine. And I mean zero. The reason I bought it was for the pristine sound, clarity with no hiss. cheers Kim
I bought one of these after saving for years for it and after believing all the hype about it... I sold it 3 months later as the HISS totally ruined it - even at low volumes and with expensive mains suppressors... Have a cheap Roland amp now tho still with some hiss but usable. Try before you buy is the moral of this - dont believe what you read!
It's a great amp.....you sometimes get what you pay for, and get real some of you, as if you're going to hear how it really sounds on a home made youtube video! Arggghhh!
Oh boy, the amp is so amazing that your 150 euros guitar sounded ok. But seriously, how do you got a 1000 amp and still have a 150 guitar is beyond me XD
Muy bueno gracias, i bought one today cant wait to have a play at my next gig!!! this info is awesome!
@sclogse1 Exactly, if one is into classical guitar, the amp is worth every penny
Es el IV movimiento de la suite # 2 del compositor colombiano Gentil Montaña, una danza Colombiana llamada Porro.
Suena muy lindo ese amplificador y tocas muy bien la guitarra, gracias por compartir.
Hello, how many watts? Has it got the plug for backing tracks? Thanks
Hi,sorry but I don't have it anymore, don't recall seeing any input for audio. that info may be in the product's website.
Gracias!
