They did re-release The Lion King animated film with the morning report added. It's actually really hard to find the original theatrical release of the movie without it nowadays.
Completely agree with the music portion, especially where Daniel talks about the friendship song. This movie had a lot of "the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing" when it came to editing in the musical numbers
