Has Honda done anything in the current year models the mitigate road noise problems? I’ve had a 2000 Honda and I’m currently driving a 2015 Honda CRV and they’re great cars and I love the gas mileage and I love the low or almost no maintenance but the road no is annoying. Have they made any changes to reduce road noise thanks.
It does have noise canceling technology, but that's a loaded question because that will come down to options. I would encourage you to schedule a test drive when you have time.
The power flow is just showing you what is currently going on with the hybrid system. For example; gas driving the vehicle, hybrid battery driving the vehicle, charing the hybrid battery while braking.. econ is most effective during highway driving that helps improve mpg. I mention mode during my walk-around videos
I just bought a hybrid sport touring on friday the 3rd Great video!! I am learning a few more things that I haven't found yet. Thank you. 1 question, though. I'm not sure that I like the loud motor sound when the vehicle is idling or I shut it off? It's made that sound twice now. Is that normal. Only have 220 miles on it

Good Day Chris, how to I get 2023 CRV-EXL car wash ready. In other words, how do I turn off all the warning sensors. They all go off when running through automatic car wash.
During the carwash, you can mute the parking sensors by pushing in the wheel on the left-hand side of the steering wheel. It tells you that on the driver's interface
Why cant I find the “settings” option? I see “brightness” and directly under it says “gauge display settings” but no “settings” to choice. I was trying change which doors unlock the when touching the handle. I have an EX-L if that matters.

It's always a hard balancing act between which features are going to continue over and going to be added during a redesign. The garage door opener didn't make the cut for a standard feature but can be added as an accessory.
Does anyone know how to turn off the seat belt image that you have to constantly dismiss everytime you startup the vehicle? I always put my seatbelt on before I start but have to dismiss the message with the Home button. Some say it goes away after 30 seconds, but can it be turned off?

We just purchased the 2023 CRV EXL model and i had a quick question. Can you actually connect a garage door opener to it? I don't see the setup that's in our Odyessy.
FFs, I am shopping the 2024CRV now, I can tell you the engine compartment is good. Fluids, battery, air filter are all easy to see. Even easy to reach the sparkplugs. The whole area looks like it gets decent air flow, good for component life. Also, no stupid "modesty" panel that covers the engine and traps heat. My Ford Excape 2.0 Ecoboost was a nightmire on all of the above,

I got to sit in four CR-V’s today. An EX with black interior, EX with ivory interior, and two EX-L’s with black interior. The EX-L’s are soo comfortable! The interior is also so simple and organized, I love it.
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 Mostly because the gas mileages, i live in NY with alot of traffic, it put me at 28.2 mpg after using it for a month (2k miles). if it is hybrid, it will put me 32+. Also. it has more HP with better acceleration
Just took delivery of my white pearl 2024 Sport Touring Hybrid CRV, have 75 miles on it. I sit in the garage and play with the settings. Like others I was unaware of the key spot in the door handle. Your video helps very much and I know I will be watching it a few more times since I can't think as fast as the video spools LOL. So many variables and it's a challenge coming from an Acura 2020 MDX. I just picked up my 2024 Honda CR-V EX-L today. Thank you for an informative video. I've owned 9 Hondas so far--making this my 4th CR-V. I learned a few things that really helped.
How THE HECK do you set up the 2024 (AWD EX) to keep the radio ON after you put the car in park and turn it off? Every other car i've EVER driven keeps the radio going so you can listen to the end of your song or podcast without burning gas. I swear this car was designed entirely by people who commute to work on a train. I bought this thing after my 2016 VW golf hit 80 K and was burning a quart of oil every 1000 miles and I needed something bigger. Honestly, it seems like the engineers at Honda put ZERO thought into driver convenience with this thing.
You can put the vehicle into accessory mode that doesn't use gas. After turning off the vehicle, you just select the power button once or twice without having your foot on the brake pedal.
Just got my new 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport yesterday. Have been watching these videos and learning so much. This is invaluable and I had no idea the car had soooo many features. At the dealership the sales person only gave me a very simple overview. Thanks for these videos they are adding so much to the enjoyment of the car and are really helping me justify the price in my mind. If this car can stay reliable it will be the best car by far Ive ever owned. :)

Child seat tether anchors are hidden behind slits in the upholstery just below the plastic anchor icons. (Not covered in the manual from what I could see)
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 The LATCH anchors are exposed on the posterior of the seat for the LATCH anchors, but the tether anchors are hidden behind slits in the upholstery on the anterior side of the back seats directly under the icons. The two anchors on the cargo floor area that flip up are for cargo tie-downs and not for the child safety seat rear tether.

I do have walk-around videos and vehicle settings videos for the LX trim CRV. Unfortunately, the LX doesn't have that feature. In the description, I shared that the LX trim wasn't released during that time of the video and wasn't aware it would've.

That's is correct, no fog lights on the 2023 CRVs. I'm assuming it's a balance and check decision because American Honda has added many new tech/items to this redesign, maybe trying to keep a target price range in mind as well. So Honda made the decision. Thank you for watching

So glad I found you! I'm a newby to Honda , just bought a cr-v hybrid. 2023. With 10,000 MI. It is a sweet ride! Question though --- I car camp and need a.c. or sometimes heat. How do I keep the car on all night or even while I'm in the grocery store. My dogs often go with and it's dangerously hot down on the Texas Coast.

Great car. I bought one at the end of October with the idea of having it for at least ten years. I was disappointed my model didn't come with the XM radio, but that was not a deal breaker. Perhaps you could do something on installing an aftermarket xm?

I considered the "docking station" option but 1) I heard they were kind of flimsy and hard to operate when driving and 2) I would rather not have to carry the module back and forth to the car. I still haven't made up my mind, but the 2023 CRV is a great vehicle.
Question: if You are the last one getting into the trunk as You demonstrated, however, instead of hitting that small black button, is it possible that if You have the "walk away" (10 second door lock) on; then when You walk away will the CRV lock all the doors??? Or no, because say it locked all the doors, but You got into the truck before it was locked, then it remains unlocked so You must still hit the black button on the tailgate (I am getting an EX soon) so I"m asking.. will the walk away not lock all doors and truck for u without hitting the black button???
If the Walk away auto lock is enabled, the doors will lock if you walk away with the fob (no key inside). You don't have to select the small button that I mention. Thanks for watching

I don't get this: why do you have to always cover the camera with the hand before moving to the next scene? I see that on many youtube content creators and, at least for me, it's like the person talking to you is putting his hand in your face. Probably it's easier for video editing but still .. it is not nice. That's my only complain about the video..
The Hybrid models are scheduled to arrive at dealerships soon. No 360 cameras on the Hondas, just the standard multi-angle cameras. I’m trying to figure out a way to disable the back up camera every time we put our bikes on there it thinks the car is coming and stops the vehicle by itself. Any ideas? Thank you great great
@Cream1968 I'm assuming that the parking sensors are bothering you. I have a video showing how to temporarily mute them and a vehicle settings video showing how to disable the feature as well.
The Settings selection in the drivers interface does not appear on my 2023 EXL. I think everything you discussed is available but on my 2023 EXL I have to use the main LCD display.
I dont understand the e parking brake, I see people say to leave it on all the time. do you keep it on even when on flat surfaces? and I noticed the light stays on after you turn the car off and e-brake is on does that mean it's running on and can therefore hurt battery?
I just got my 2023 crv sport hybrid on Saturday. It’s really hot in California right now & I notice in the afternoon when it’s the hottest, the ac doesn’t seem to blow as strong as it does in the morning when it’s a little cooler. Is it just me or is there a reason for that & how to fix it?
This is common for all vehicles that sit in the 🌞 sun in really hot weather. It was super hot 🔥 here today, roughly 100 degrees, but felt like 110 with the heat index. It took every ac a moment, but they did after the vehicle gets moving.
Trying to unlock all doors instead of drivers door. My guage display does not have a settings tab to choose grom. It goes from.guage display settings to brightness.

Yes. You can permanently disable the ridiculous auto stop/start feature. You can find the devices on Amazon. We ordered one for our 2022 CR-V. It took less than one minute to install and it does work. It makes it disabled as default but you can enable it by just pushing the auto stop/start button.
New 2024 crv ex-l gas model off the lot this past Monday today on decelerating there is an intense whirring sound from the rear from what I have gathered and am looking to confirm that it's a pinion preload issue will obviously be at the dealership tomorrow hopefully car has freaking 137 miles on it this is concerning

The windows rolling down with the unlock button is my favorite feature of Honda. I don’t know what other car manufacturers do this but it is very underrated. Is there a way to hold the lock and roll them up? Say for instance you get out of the car and forgot a back window, it can roll it up??

I found the Vehicle Setting menu. You have to access it via the center media screen.

We just remove the stickers and drive it through the carwash. Nothing special.

I got to sit in four CR-V’s today. An EX with black interior, EX with ivory interior, and two EX-L’s with black interior. The EX-L’s are soo comfortable! The interior is also so simple and organized, I love it.

Just took delivery of my white pearl 2024 Sport Touring Hybrid CRV, have 75 miles on it. I sit in the garage and play with the settings. Like others I was unaware of the key spot in the door handle. Your video helps very much and I know I will be watching it a few more times since I can't think as fast as the video spools LOL. So many variables and it's a challenge coming from an Acura 2020 MDX. I just picked up my 2024 Honda CR-V EX-L today. Thank you for an informative video. I've owned 9 Hondas so far--making this my 4th CR-V. I learned a few things that really helped.

How THE HECK do you set up the 2024 (AWD EX) to keep the radio ON after you put the car in park and turn it off? Every other car i've EVER driven keeps the radio going so you can listen to the end of your song or podcast without burning gas. I swear this car was designed entirely by people who commute to work on a train. I bought this thing after my 2016 VW golf hit 80 K and was burning a quart of oil every 1000 miles and I needed something bigger. Honestly, it seems like the engineers at Honda put ZERO thought into driver convenience with this thing.
You can put the vehicle into accessory mode that doesn't use gas. After turning off the vehicle, you just select the power button once or twice without having your foot on the brake pedal.
Just got my new 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid Sport yesterday. Have been watching these videos and learning so much. This is invaluable and I had no idea the car had soooo many features. At the dealership the sales person only gave me a very simple overview. Thanks for these videos they are adding so much to the enjoyment of the car and are really helping me justify the price in my mind. If this car can stay reliable it will be the best car by far Ive ever owned. :)

Yes all but the tachometer. The Hybrid models don't have a tachometer.
Child seat tether anchors are hidden behind slits in the upholstery just below the plastic anchor icons. (Not covered in the manual from what I could see)
They are exposed. you can see them in my walkaround videos
@@CrazyHondaChris-H18 The LATCH anchors are exposed on the posterior of the seat for the LATCH anchors, but the tether anchors are hidden behind slits in the upholstery on the anterior side of the back seats directly under the icons. The two anchors on the cargo floor area that flip up are for cargo tie-downs and not for the child safety seat rear tether.

I bought a 2025 Honda CRV hybrid sport touring in June and I am seeing Collision mitigation and cruise control see dealer. I took it in to be checked and they said it cannot be fixed there is no update. What do I do?
Is it true that there are no fog lights on the 2023 CR-V’s? We have lots of fog here in southwest Mississippi & I’ve really enjoyed the fog lights on my 2018 CR-V.
That's is correct, no fog lights on the 2023 CRVs. I'm assuming it's a balance and check decision because American Honda has added many new tech/items to this redesign, maybe trying to keep a target price range in mind as well. So Honda made the decision. Thank you for watching

Great car. I bought one at the end of October with the idea of having it for at least ten years. I was disappointed my model didn't come with the XM radio, but that was not a deal breaker. Perhaps you could do something on installing an aftermarket xm?

@@kevp.5801 Older models could be upgraded, but I haven't seen anything yet on the 23's. I considered the "docking station" option but 1) I heard they were kind of flimsy and hard to operate when driving and 2) I would rather not have to carry the module back and forth to the car. I still haven't made up my mind, but the 2023 CRV is a great vehicle.
@kevp.5801 i had the same issue when I chose my 2022 Accord Sport. You can't add it. I just traded it for the CRV EXL which has it built in.

Question: if You are the last one getting into the trunk as You demonstrated, however, instead of hitting that small black button, is it possible that if You have the "walk away" (10 second door lock) on; then when You walk away will the CRV lock all the doors??? Or no, because say it locked all the doors, but You got into the truck before it was locked, then it remains unlocked so You must still hit the black button on the tailgate (I am getting an EX soon) so I"m asking.. will the walk away not lock all doors and truck for u without hitting the black button???
If the Walk away auto lock is enabled, the doors will lock if you walk away with the fob (no key inside). You don't have to select the small button that I mention. Thanks for watching

Depending on the trim level you can change the clock face (wallpaper) on the EXL, Sport-L, Sport Touring
I don't get this: why do you have to always cover the camera with the hand before moving to the next scene? I see that on many youtube content creators and, at least for me, it's like the person talking to you is putting his hand in your face. Probably it's easier for video editing but still .. it is not nice. That's my only complain about the video..

The Hybrid models are scheduled to arrive at dealerships soon. No 360 cameras on the Hondas, just the standard multi-angle cameras. Why is there no thermostat on the dashboard? I didn’t notice this when I bought it. Unless I’m blind.
The vehicle will have a warning ⚠️ light indicating when the vehicle is hot or cold.

The Settings selection in the drivers interface does not appear on my 2023 EXL. I think everything you discussed is available but on my 2023 EXL I have to use the main LCD display.
The setting would be on the touchscreen for the EXL and Sport Touring, which has the 9-inch screen

I dont understand the e parking brake, I see people say to leave it on all the time. do you keep it on even when on flat surfaces? and I noticed the light stays on after you turn the car off and e-brake is on does that mean it's running on and can therefore hurt battery?
It will not run out or hurt the battery.

I just got my 2023 crv sport hybrid on Saturday. It’s really hot in California right now & I notice in the afternoon when it’s the hottest, the ac doesn’t seem to blow as strong as it does in the morning when it’s a little cooler. Is it just me or is there a reason for that & how to fix it?
This is common for all vehicles that sit in the 🌞 sun in really hot weather. It was super hot 🔥 here today, roughly 100 degrees, but felt like 110 with the heat index. It took every ac a moment, but they did after the vehicle gets moving.

Trying to unlock all doors instead of drivers door. My guage display does not have a settings tab to choose grom. It goes from.guage display settings to brightness.

@Bobawob the Idle stop is always enabled when you start the vehicle but doesn't always engage because it does have programs to protect itself

Yes. You can permanently disable the ridiculous auto stop/start feature. You can find the devices on Amazon. We ordered one for our 2022 CR-V. It took less than one minute to install and it does work. It makes it disabled as default but you can enable it by just pushing the auto stop/start button.

New 2024 crv ex-l gas model off the lot this past Monday today on decelerating there is an intense whirring sound from the rear from what I have gathered and am looking to confirm that it's a pinion preload issue will obviously be at the dealership tomorrow hopefully car has freaking 137 miles on it this is concerning

It should reset when you turn on and off the vehicle, just like a computer.
The windows rolling down with the unlock button is my favorite feature of Honda. I don’t know what other car manufacturers do this but it is very underrated. Is there a way to hold the lock and roll them up? Say for instance you get out of the car and forgot a back window, it can roll it up??
I wish that there was for the American Honda Market models.

Help! I want to use maps/navigation on the nice screen in my new CRV 2024 sport but the screen doesn’t show the icons like I’ve seen in other videos. It just has basic gray settings
The Sport trim CRV does NOT have built-in Navigation but you do have apple car play and android auto.
You can turn off daytime lights starting 2014 models. It's not new.
