Project based learning has changed my teaching in allowing me time to get work done even with a class. I have students working with each other and check on them consistently, but giving them something to create has allowed me time to lesson plan ahead creating rubrics for the next step, to do lists for students etc. I teach science and social studies and this has been a wonder for me for both subjects! I feel as though I am always one step ahead (as a first year teacher) and my students are so engaged. I am proud to say I leave at the end of contract hours!
