This was certainly helpful. It would be equally useful if you could include steps highlighting the progress of the scrum cycle in JIRA by showing how tasks and user stories are updated through their statuses until they are "Done", and reflect the completion status of their related Sprint. Also show how the burndown velocity chart changes through the completion of the Sprint. This will provide an idea of a project from inception (which is what you initially showed in your demo) to completion in JIRA.

Nice and clear video, thank you however, as stated by the Scrum Guide: The scrum master DOES NOT manage the backlog (it is not a PM), the backlog is managed by the PO, while the sprint backlog is managed by the dev team.

Agile concept and JIRA tool was explained in a very simple way, even laymen can understand and start working on Day 1. I never see any such tutorial in the past, this is one of the best i would say

This is a good learning video
I have a few questions:
1. Who creates the backlog in the software ( like creating all epics, stories, tasks and so on). Is it the scrum master or the team working on the stories
2. How do we move the stories from one workflow step to another, the user working on a particular story will mark it as in progress and complete? Or the scrum master does it for the team
3. How do we generate the burn down charts?
4. Is it possible to export an excel containing multiple user stories to JIRA and then club the similar ones into one epic and then create sprints or this has to be done manually everytime
helped me get a quick look at Jira before starting a new position where i'll be using it

Very informative videos with lots of insights. I used to hear the the term JIRA in my organization and some how reconnect that It is a workflow tool. By watching this video I got to know, it is much more than what I expected and all your project management activities are captured and monitored along with lots of other tools which are of much use. The terminologies are also cleared ie agile, scrum, scrum master, story, EPIC etc.Thats the reason almost all organizations who are looking for BA's also want to equipped with JIRA knowledge. Toeing the line of most comments. excellent video. easy to follow. i did have a question - during the Jira demo, while creating tasks for the epic, Jira screen had backlog at the top of the page. Are the two used interchangeably? I would also like a copy of the slide as well. Thank you!

Just one thing, in the agile methodologies section, I think the development team is mistakenly communicated as scrum team in PPT. The scrum team comprises 3 scrum roles. Kindly revise it in upcoming revisions to avoid ambiguity. 😊
