Last week, Consensys revealed that the SEC had concluded an investigation into Ethereum 2.0, referring to when Ethereum transitioned from a proof-of-work consensus mechanism to a proof-of-stake one.

If the SEC proclaims that any Crypto is a Comodity, they must submit to any other crypto denfence claims that other assets can be a commodity. Until they the (SEC) can find a Security law that can be applied to any Crypto asset and have it (stick) these actions are simply stall tactics to allow them to continue litigation on other companies that may submit, not because the asset is a Security, but because they can not afford the legal defenses of defending their claims. The SEC can still make money in litigation. Why would they quit and look like hypocrites?

Ethereum may have escaped due to the statute of limitations and the SEC is really still trying to prosecute proof of stake coins for promising "returns" to coin holders (even though there is no profit in a P&L sense)
