Hedge funds, vc, retail. It's all a symbiotic relationship. Crypto was supposed to be different than traditional markets. I believe there needs to be a change. Overfunded cryptos are not performing cuz retail has shied away this cycle. Obviously, the risk vcs and hedge funds take should be rewarded for taking the bulk of risk, but the market will decide what is valuable. Vcs and hedge funds have to find a middle ground where it makes sense for all parties involved. If retail sees no value, they will not buy, and these cryptos will underperform.
Small Cap stocks outperformed in January for decades. One of the reasons could be that investors who sold in December for tax harvesting buy back in January.
