Come take a look around the striking Humbug Hill at Creswick, a beautiful historical landscape caused by hydraulic sluicing.
The quest for Gold, it' unreal how the miners removed so much earth to reveal the Gold and transformed it into a new landscape, your photos are great ! Keep em coming, Cheers.
Thanks Shane 🙂⚒📸
Humbug hill is incredible those are some spectacular shots with your drone thanks for sharing.
Thanks Lenny 🙂
Creswick is amazing, I've been going there for nearly two years now, and still keep learning so many new things about the area, good stuff, thanks
It’s a very interesting place, I need to explore more of the bushland around creswick for sure ⚒🌿
Victoria at it's artistic best. The colours of Creswick. Great stuff. Luv the Mammoet soundtrack. OzGeographe features a road cutting in the middle of Ballarat with the same geology, ochres and quartz veins. Hydraulic gold mining was practically invented in Victoria. As was Australian geology. You rock.
Thanks, hydraulic sluicing sites are some of the most dramatic landscapes around, just amazing 😍📸⚒
Check out Pink Cliffs Geological Reserve Heathcote, it is very similar but bigger area and stand out.
Ah yes that’s a beautiful place, I’ll have to take this drone there as well 📸⚒🙂
This is cool. I shall visit. Felt the music was maybe slightly more melodramatic than the footage!
Thanks 🙂 definitely worth a visit! 📸⚒
Ahhhh Humbug Hill, I went there a decade ago cause this youtuber that no longer makes videos claimed that he was finding gold within the trench that you showed @00:12 and the gutter that goes down the side of the road leading in, guess what, there wasn't any gold anywhere except for my gold wedding ring that I used to tune my original Fisher Gold bug. I put the ring in my pocket after tuning it instead of back on my finger and didn't realize there was a hole in my pocket till later when I went back to my car. I never found it again and my marriage was on a tether for a while. Even tho I found no gold (detecting and panning) and lost my wedding ring, I was still amazed and in awe at the colours left behind by the devistation of Hydraulic sluicing
I love hydraulic sluicing sites, always such dramatic landscapes 😍📸⚒ ah that’s no good about your wedding ring, and the lack of gold 😅😓
It would have been easy to find the ring with a metal detector. I hope you got it back. I have been to that hill years ago and dug some gold nuggets with the detector.
The drone shoots rock!
Thanks 🙂📸
Love it
Very scenic shots, not bad piloting. I have been there it is a very dramatic place. I found lots of lead, rust nuggets and aluminum cans! No gold. I think ill stick to the creeks😢
👍
Eureka.
Awesome drone footage 👌 I should consider getting another one ! My last one went kamikaze into a cliff rock climbing 😂 Pilot error for overestimating all of the limitations 🫣
Oh no, that’s no good! I thought that would happen here for sure, this was only my second time flying it 😅📸 but did okay 🙂 lots of fun 😁
Trust your abilities & fly within the legal accordance of all relevant state regulations & once proficiency is obtained 😃 Ignore all Casa regulations 🤫 Flying at night is awesome 👌
Thanks Darren 🙂🙂 I look forward to seeing your footage on YT when you get your next drone! 📸🙂👌
I posted some photos on google maps 🤫 I'm not surprised that i couldn't see the drone 3 kms from it launch site as it flew past Lawrence Rocks at Portland 🫣
@@darrenmarney8577 you’re gamer than I am with it haha, I’ll be sticking around old mine sites for a while yet 😅😆😆
