In the US, you wouldn't even be allowed to drink at that age. He also went to jail for this, yes, not for the original sentence but very little people actually did end up serving full term in prison. He later recalled this to be the biggest mistake of his life. If a person went to jail for other issues, we'll typically no issues with them getting back to work. In a healthy modern society, we would encourage that. Afterall, thats what prison is for. So lets cut this young man a break, he did it when he was 19, he went to prison for it, and seems to acknowledge what a mistake it was.
