Perfect to recommend for a dark/rocky song is "Strings" - Watch their MV + Wish Bus Live and for a ballad is "Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi" Wish Bus Live performance. In this two videos, you will more captivate with BINI vocals and strength
8/8!!! You got them all right! But the way I shouted, "No, it's Maloi!" HAHAHAHA! I can't wait for your reaction for the Dance and Vocal Practice, you'll love it! STRINGS, 8, and HUWAG MUNA TAYO UMUWI will definitely make you love them even more.
Strings (MV + wishbus + dance practice (for choreo) - darker side of BINI Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi - (Wishbus + one music live (for very very raw vocals, no mic effects) + they also have acoustic version (Ukelele being the instrument only, played by Maloi) But before all that, watch Lagi - dance and vocal practice first and be amazed :)
Please consider “Huwag muna tayong umuwi” on your reaction, the song is kind of jazzy and warm, you might differentiate the vocals right there. Thankksss ☺️
According to my mom when she heard it it reminded her the beat popularized by City Pop beat of Japan disco pub during 80's and she even liked it when she heard it the first time.. Check City Pop music of 80's and you will see the similarities.. But BINI just made a new twist through vocals..
I cannot understand how you think they sound the same when their voices are very distinct and covers a wide range. the girls with low voices have their own different tone, the main and lead vocalists have different color and they especially showcased that in this song. Check both the 1st and 2nd chorus, it does not sound the same, check 1st and 2nd verse it does not sound the same. how are you seeing this as them having same voices I just cannot comprehend, even when I didn't know them yet and I checked this song first time I specifically remember saying "wow their voices are very distinct, I can tell easily when the voice switches"
I get what youre saying but for BINI they usually have places in the song, just like how Stacey would usually open up the songs or Aiah opening the song in Lagi's case, they usually utilize their low register singers for verses, while the main vocalists sing chorus or the addlibs in the end. they all have specific placements in songs so they take turns to shine. I think thats better than not giving members any parts in the song. also Lagi didnt have a rap part so they werent able to showcase that here. but BINI songs in general, each of them gives us something different because they always try to explore.
BINI is not locked on bubble gang pop, you wanna check "Strings" edgy dark tone and "Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi" ballad emotional tone. Check MV + Wish Bus Live of "Strings" and Wish Bus of "HMTU"
Strings and Born to Win are another concepts that they did earlier in there career. It has powerful vocals and a totally different side of Bini. Huwag muna tayong umuwi is more ballad :-)
I agree with all of the comments that you should watch the Dance & Vocal Practice for Lagi. But after that, you should watch the Wish Bus performance for Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi (let's not go home yet). That is their best vocal showcase. Strings also has a Wish Bus and an MV and that's in partial English. Born To Win which is their Debut was a little less bubblegum than what they sound like now.
Some people already said this but please do watch their DANCE and VOCAL practice for LAGI. Raw vocals and their synchronization is so satisfying to watch. If you are looking for a different vibe, watch the STRINGS MV then the STRINGS Wish bus.
Try: - Strings - Karera - Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi (slow/ballad) If you'd like to focus on vocals, check out their Wish Bus performances: - Golden Arrow - I Feel Good - Strings - Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi - Karera
It’s really hard to distinguish their vocals especially when you just started listening to them but few more videos, you’ll definitely learn who’s singing who even if you’re eyes closed.
if u want the dark concept u should watch "Strings", but i recommend u guys to watch "I Feel Good" before strings because it's connected. I hope u read this!!❣️
8:25 Darker concept? “Strings” it is. Ballad? “Huwag muna tayong umuwi” it is. and also, u should also react to their dance practices (especially the dance and vocal practice of Lagi) bc they're all more than just great singers bc of their filo genes
You guys want emotional? "Huwag Muna Tayo Umuwi" in wishbus. I think they are strategic to be fair, it's really hard to balance 8 vocals and harnessing their strengths. I think using Colet, Maloi and Jhoanna in the belting parts is just deserved because those guys really are the foundation or their go to guys for vocal power. It just so happened Lagi has a lot of belting so its just right to give belting parts to those 3.
Jhoanna has the highest voice (she a belter), followed by Maloi (the Christina Aguilera of the group). Colet has the deepest voice among the 8 of them (and she's one of the belters. I like her tone the most especially when belting). They are the vocal trinity and sing the complex and belty adlibs in the background. If I would add a 4th member for the vocal line, it would be Gwen. She's the 4th singer line for me. Mikha has a lower tone voice that everybody is noticing, as well as Aiah. Stacey and Sheena also belong to the richer lower tone voice line. I prefer the 4 of them (I could also add Gwen and Colet to this) to sing the lower parts of the song since their voices are lower and darker and richer which suits them sooo well it's so pleasing to the ears. And in contrast, the soprano line (Jhoanna and Maloi) are best suited for the high notes and belting, as well as Colet (despite being an alto). Can I just repeat that I really love Colet's vocal tone. It's really dark and deep and I'm glad she gets to belt. Her belts sounds richer than Jho and Maloi's.
I believe its only confusing when you’re not that familiar yet with the group. In terms of line distrubution and highlights, it was fair. I recommend you try to watch the vocal and dance practice of Lagi. for the dark side, i recommend STRINGS. Please react to both mv and wish bus performance. You will be more familiar to their voices if you watch the live performances. For ballad, try WAG MUNA TAYONG UMUWI. There is no mv but they have wish bus performance for it. Thank you so much for the wonderful reaction video. Hope to see more. Eeeeeyyyy muna mga BLOOMS🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Yahh also react to their vocal and dance practice and you asking a song that darker mode i recommend string by bini that the song is more fear reaction to string mv/dance practice/wish bus its so good i hope you react 🎉❤i hope more bini reaction to come🎉🎉
I suggest their slow songs Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi in Wish Bus Here With You Na Na Na Na ACAPELLA & DANCE VERSION “8” written by Bini Colet “STRINGS” (DARK Side) GOLDEN ARROW (Retro)
Dark Theme - Strings Slow - Here With You and 8 Kinda Ballad/Pop - Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi And to be honest you're the only reactor i know who're getting confused with their tones. It is easy to distinguish who is who when doing high notes.
Guys... Do you wanna hear zuu doing rap? 😁 please do reaction for zuu and soodam secret number, "love love". This is new drama ost "serendipity Embrace".
Please do a reaction video to a new global gg called KATSEYE "Touch" single . I'm sure you will love it. Thank you, much appreciated. P.S. they are composed of different nationalities❤ including Sophia from the Philippines under Hybe labels x Geffen record
Ok with all due respect I respect others opinion but I just don't get how are they "competing" in this song. They literally have their own section. If you want to hear a competition in a song listen to "Yes And..." by Ariana and Mariah mashup. That is competition in a song and they have too different texture it doesn't sound good. Maybe you're just used to kpop a lot hearing autotuned sound? As a group they need their voices to sound good together. You will not achieve that with voices that are too far apart in texture. And please stop squealing when watching something.
WATCH THE DANCE AND VOCAL PRACTICE OF THIS SONG FROM BINI! THEY DANCE AND SING LIVE AT THE SAME TIME!

"HUWAG MUNA TAYONG UMUWI" by BINI
"Huwag muna tayo umuwi" and "8" two songs I know emotional
Colet, Maloi, and Jhoanna are the 3 pillars of the group.
The biriTRINITY 3️⃣
What really impresses me about Colet is her musicality. She has a really good ear for music, just like Maloi.
COLET is my bias. The ace of BINI. Main vocalist/lead dancer/lead rapper/composer/songwriter/can play guitar, piano, and drums.
Jhoanna is such a beast. She's my bias.
