Hunter letting Jett pass was a brilliant move. 1. Jett is faster 2. They would both be slower if they battled 3. Jett can can tow hunter through the field. I think hunter made up more positions than they would have battling for 7th (or what ever it was at the time)
i agree Hunter not battling and getting a tow from Jett was a good move and you could see hunter using Jett's lines and going faster , they would practice like this during the week pushing each other i bet .
100 hunter will get several podiums. We will see Hunters Beast mode before the end of the season for sure

Sexton is injured. He didn't want to race but was trying to salvage whatever points he could. The speed will come over time but it's been a huge adjustment for him
Where is all the chatter with cooper webb? Everyone was quick to jump all over tomac last week but when webb does the exact same thing this week absolute crickets. Is it all over for webb? Should he hang up the boots? Webb just can't hang with top dudes anymore? Webb looks like he doesn't even want to be out there. Webb just looks slow... the moto community is ridiculous with how quickly they flip on riders the moment that they have something not go their way.

There was lots of spite thrown at Jett as well in previous rounds, now it’s just silence.
@CaptainRedBeardarrr ill admit, jett has to win me back over as a fan, but I'd never criticize his riding even when he does bad. He is obviously gifted, and all those dudes deserve respect just for going out there in the first place. Especially so when it is a rider of Tomac's caliber. The people that can look at a dude like tomac and just switch up in a single weekend frustrate me as it seems more so than ever that is the trend in this sport. We praise them when they do good, and regardless of the big picture, one bad performance is the end of the world.
Webb suffers from the same thing Tomac does since he's on the exact same bike . That new YZ450F becomes extremely unpredictable on certain types of tracks and it's front end becomes extremely twitchy which is what Eli actually said last year when he faded badly in some races . It's just a continuation from last year and now Cooper is experiencing the same issues since he's on the same bike. They won't experience these issues on every track but you will see them dropping back on others .

@herbcanter2114 yeah, that bike definitely doesn't look as good as it used to. Not sure what they have going on over there, but they gotta figure it out. Kawasaki has surprisingly looked like the most comfortable and manageable bike this season.
Well, I will say it. The Suzuki is the same old design that handled the best before.....looks like it still does.
KR has been arguably fastest all year with a few self inflicted bad results.

I think Jorge Prado and Roczen are similar in that they both have insane control over the bike. Jorge Prado is an absolute phenom. He's raced MXGP since 2016 and has well over 100 holeshots, and he's won the holeshot award three years in a row now. He's "only" a 3 time champ but he moved up from MX2 very early as he could have stayed in that class until this upcoming season.

David Bailey once said he didn't agree with letting people by, but it seems like Hunter could use a few lessons from Jett somewhat.

Hunter letting Jett by is just what should happen whether they are bros or not. Hunter didn’t qualify round 1 and is out of the championship battle but Jett isn’t and they are teammates. I think it's a problem with UA-cam, a lot of the channels I subscribe to I check on it and it says subscribe instead of being subscribed. I don't know what's happening it seems to do it more on my fire stick than any other platform I'm using like my computer or my Sony TV

Here's the thing. I'd be lieing if I didn't admit to being subscribed. But I just watch cooksey as a last resort if I'm itching for moto content in the off season and off weeks. He talks a lot of negetive stuff, conspiracy stuff and political stuff on a moto channel. I get sick of it alot. I wouldn't be surprised if all of these unsubs are just people who found better moto content and don't wanna hear some guys personal opinions/views shoved down there throat every video. Same thing has happened to me too. About 6 months ago I noticed that I was no longer subscribed to many of my subscriptions.

Speaking from experience, a bone contusion is INCREDIBLY painful. Quit acting like he’s “slow”. lol. I’d love to see you ride with a bone construction in your clutch hand. I can’t even imagine that. I had one in my foot when I was a cheerleader. I sat out one week then went back out and it was beyond painful.
100%. Hurts a hell of a lot more than a broken bone even, at least for me it was. Chase has slowed it a bit, but he said he was going to already before because he wants to eliminate those mistakes that he kept making when he was going that fast. But yeah between that and his hand I think a top ten is extremely good, pain meds don't eliminate pain they can only do so much.

I think he had a chance before this hand injury. He did not look capable last night. Jett last night and the week before almost killed himself. One of these times he's not gonna save it. The one last night would have been brutal if he would have crashed. Gotta make it thru the entire season to win a championship.

I have owned/ridden Yamaha YZ's for 45yrs with one CR250 in there somewhere...My 1st Suzuki is a 22 RM-Z450, that thing is a beast, the only issue with people is the spoiled world of E-Start. I get it, much easier/quicker to push a button than to kick an engine over, but if you haven't been spoiled by the E-Start, kicking is just natural. They kick easy, a kick or 2 & you're off. If you're not racing, shouldn't matter. They're a great reliable bike. Prettiest IMO & have more power than most of us need, stop dogging on the Suzuki's just because it's cool to do so. Every yr the manufacturers are coming out with the next greatest thing...every yr, only to change it again & again & again going backwards & forwards on your dollar. Suzuki has a winner bike, why change what's NOT broken. I'd love the E-Start on it, but for cost & quality, Suzuki is a prime deal.

I'm very disappointed with Sexton as a fan of his. Watching Jett pass him time and time again makes me believe he's DONE. He should have stayed with Honda and earned the #1 dog by competing for it, not running away from it.

Hunter is fine. Had a mug of a start to the season but may get into the top six or five and that would be a very good season in the context of the first couple of rounds and how competitive the field is. Hunter can start fresh in the motocross season and there he should excel.

Bud Y.T. has been doing that on a lot of the channels I frequent the last few years. I've had to re- subscribe to many many channels, multiple times. Y.T. is not truck, moto, race, 2a, friendly any longer. It's real and unfortunately I noticed this a few years ago once I realized it was happening I started watching for it and it's a thing.
The LGB and Red Pill merch might be the reason for the unsubscriptions, but honestly I prefer to listen to a good race analysis with some political ads over a bland race report. I'm not the only one here who subscribed for motocross content, right?
I've seen these same rides from Tamoc on a Kawasaki so not a reason to sat y he's done. If anyone thinks they can have the same ability after that injury and that long off the bike and not to mention he's not up to race pace. Once he's back in 4ace condition then you will see beast mode.

It was reported that team manager said Chase hurt his hand in practice and that a top 10 finish would considered a good night! Roczen like so many others has had some dumb bad luck this season but no one could catch him , No One! He was hitting his marks and super fast as well!
Chase himself has stated he hasn't got the speed ATM.
He's doing better than I expected, and without the hand injury was obviously building good points, you don't need to even win a main event to win the championship.
It's been done before, and will be done again. Consistency is the most Important thing when competing for a championship.

I like your content, but i think your junping the gun on alot of this stuff. Id give everything a few more weeks to pan out. Sexton is still getting the bike dialed, hes a race winner this year and will win again this year i believe. The hand was clearly wearing on him at the end of the race. Tomac is gonna be there and hes still a favorite for daytona. May very well be the jett and tomac battle we have been waiting for when they get to a more outdoor style track. Hunter letting jett go pretty easily was expected. Jett gapped his brother after the fact. If hunter felt he had the speed to beat jett i think he would put up a fight like he did in paris. Plessinger is the guy im on the fence about staking a true claim in this championship or fizzling out kind of like milsaps in 2013. Who remember that season where villopoto didnt really start coming on til midseason. Tomac and sexton are both capable of this. Both are still building and so is webb. Im on the fence about anderson still too like ap. I could see his season going either way. But alot of the guys in this video you have concerns about i woildnt be concerned about yet.
