well, funny enough, the channel and its subchannels died after the Shima drama. she did love dolan but was betrayed by him when he got back with his ex lol. she ended up leaving the crew without saying anything to anyone. prompting panic in multiple communities around dolan's channels.. based on the timing of him getting back with his Ex, that ex getting her own spot on the show, Shima getting less and less screen time, it only took a few months before it broke her to the point of abandoning it all. her actions and the timing of it all made it clear how she felt. makes me sad every time i think about the Shima drama. who knows, they mighta had a great future together...
Same more or less but I was wondering what had happened to that channel not too long back. Also, love your channel...actually just resubscribed to your channel. Weird. I already was a subscriber I'd thought. I never unsubscribed. Interesting. Love your videos.
Holy shit. I completely forgot this guy existed. I used to watch him religiously but I just scrolled through his channel and couldn’t recognise a single video. So strange.
I believe she's okay. I saw another video done on her disappearance awhile back, and someone said in the comments is how Danger Dolan handled her leaving was poor. I understand Internet privacy, but the way they talked and answered her absence made it sound like something bad happened to her. They drew a lot of criticism on this. Their understanding of "privacy" completely misled the public to think that something bad had happened, to not even state that she left the project, etc.
From my understanding after what happened, Dolan made a response to someone looking into shima, which turns out she just, decided that social media and the Dolan crew just wasn’t worth it anymore, she just decided to leave, she stopped contacting the group but there was a conversation between her and Dolan which basically was her saying she’s fine and is doing her own thing, what ever that that may be
@@Blueoriontiger ikr like wtf was that "Shima x pipe attack" video. always thought that was distasteful. i remember hearing that she didn't like being sexualized, and that the fanart weirded her out... so seeing that artist draw the guy groping her boob was so fucking weird.
I always thought that she might’ve had a mental episode of some sort due to the high stress that is common in animators and she probably just stuck by her decision due to stress
I miss Danger Dolan. I stopped watching when he changed up the content to exclusively weird reddit posts and user-submitted stories. They were interesting for a while until that was all he was putting out and it got boring and old. Its weird to see a channel's budget goes up but content suffers.
Yeah that reminds of another reddit reader. He used to post the pro revenge and the like, then suddenly stopped, and started doing reddit memes and laid back bs. The guys content felt kinda shitty after he stopped posting his serious stuff.
I actually met dolan and gooby back in 2018. He was super cool and chill and so was gooby and he also had ginger hair which took me by surprise as no image of his face existed on the internet, but it was awesome meeting him and gooby and I didn't really have a image of what they looked like at all.
This entire thing just sounds like the channel died naturally, which in these times is oddly rare and hard to find. It's nice to see a more nostalgic part of everyone's past be left on a positive note.
I actually stopped watching with the introduction of Super Planet Dolan. Never really fell in love with the animated content. The lists made easy watches and felt informal and laid back. I still felt like the animated stuff was solid but not what I was looking for so sort of stopped watching after that.
Same, it honestly seemed to me like it was going in way too many directions and that turned me off of it. Also the topics of the reddit videos were things that didn't concern me nor did I find interesting
I didn't even purposefully stop watching, it just stopped appearing for me when they changed to Planet Dolan. After that I would see him in Nixxioms stuff etc. but never really got back into the DD stuff.
Same. I remember him having a contest for his profile pic. Right after he made planet Dolan, and i just didn't enjoy it for some reason and stopped watching
@@thedesensitizedsympathizer5307 shima used to be a popular (perhaps even staff) user of an online neopets like game called chickensmoothie. that's about all i know, she hasn't been active there in ages either
@@coffeecaim2527 Yeah the list where nice and simple, where as planet Dolan was all over the place! Like nursery rhyme remixes, lists, reddit stories and other type videos. like what even!
Well-done video! As one of the writers at Planet Dolan, I agree with what Hellbent said in terms of being burnt out after a while. I also felt the later scripts were essentially rehashes of already-produced videos (i.e. Meanest Teachers #4). Despite having been burnt out after a while, I still enjoyed working for the channel. I worked with several talented people and even made some friends in the process. Overall, it was a fun experience. It's an experience I will never forget. Thanks for making this video. I enjoyed the nostalgia as not only an employee, but also a fan.
Danger Dolan is back, if anyone here doesnt know that yet. He was indeed spending his time working on his own cartoon Destruna, i really do suggest yall take a look, it only has 44k views rn, and its probably bc youtube hasnt notified or ppl unsubscribed, but he has returned, its time to show this legend some love again
I had the pleasure of being the main music composer/singer/producer for SPD. I can tell you that a big impact was simply budget - I even made more songs, fully written/produced and with my animation ideas fully provided - but there wasn't money to animate them. However, he always paid me for my work, even those unanimated ones, and was such a joy to work for and always replied to messages. He had big ambitions, and went full-hog at them in a way thats super inspiring. Sometimes they'd make mistakes, like use an earlier mix of some of my songs in the videos by mistake, but I think that points more to how overworked they all were than any negligence. My understanding is he's working on a project with a better budget, I'm pretty sure he publically announced it too.
Shima was my favorite "character" as a kid, one day I noticed her disappearance. Sadly I stopped watching after that, nothing felt right, and as much as I respected how they gave her privacy, I couldn't understand her disappearance without being given a reason. Currently 9:37 minutes in so I'm interested to see where this goes
@@mayrahemmerechts5867 hellbent's comment here mentions how "parasocial" shima "fans" got so... i would say sexual harassment is a pretty good guess, it just didnt come from the crew, and instead the audience. all parasocial relations w women online seem to be driven by attraction
I’m curious but I was wondering weren’t you one of the animators? I remember hearing that handle sweetcommando way back but thinking how cool of a name it is 😄
Wow what a blast from the past. I watched this guy when I was in early high school-ish, like 2012-2013 maybe? I remember when it was just Dolan with the old icon. I even remember specifically when Cr1tikal was in that animation for the first time because I'd been watching him since waaaaayy before his channel is what it is today (tbh stopped watching when he gravitated away from stupid funny gameplay videos and into..whatever kind of dudebro streaming commentary stuff he's doing now) and it was exciting to see an animated interpretation of him because this was before he'd ever publicly shown his face and I think before he'd even said his name online. I just stopped watching after a while, right around the time Hellbent was first introduced to the channel, but I recently heard about the whole situation with Shima and your video definitely piqued some interest. It makes me feel so freaking old to see videos like this about channels that are considered at least somewhat "defunct" in a way, when I'd not only watched them in the past but specifically watched them before they even really hit their peak haha. Thanks for the look back in time!
yeah very off topic but i’m not a fan of new critikal. his old vids were epic and funny. his new ones are uh…too ‘political’ for me for lack of better word.
I watched Dolans videos during high school too but I always liked hellbent cus he would go from talking normally when covering a video to yelling in like 2 seconds. Both Hellbent, Slapped Ham, and Pringle the One run independent channels now. Hellbent live streams games. Slapped ham does spooky posts and videos. And Idk what pringle does.
Remembering Dolan made me realize how crappy my recommendations had been since the pre-2016 era of UA-cam. Back then, I could find any channel with a unique way to output content and refresh my subscription list every month. Nowadays, most of the UA-camrs I get are documentary-based channels that were interesting at first, but are now boring me to death with endless videos of the same soft background music format that span between 30-60 minutes. I used to have a limitless source of watchable content through my large subscription list. Now most of the time my subscription box is full of the same stupid people, and my recommendations are full of things I've already watched, subscription videos that could've just stayed on the subscription section, a mix of the first two, and a stupidly long list of documentary UA-cam videos. It's annoying the hell out of me as there's nothing unique or diverse to what I find anymore, just the same old shit.
I used to watch a lot of animations and ended up at one point only getting recommended animated music videos and cgi and like college animation projects. I never got sick of it tbh, just I watch other stuff too and because UA-cam is what it is, now I don't get anything like that recommended now.
Like Smosh, Dolan was one channel brought me a lot of joy as a teenager. Until now I honestly just thought he was still uploading videos. Makes me really sad to know his channel is more or less dead. Thanks for sharing the history of his channel.
Blameitonjorge has actually being doing videos since like 2012. He just privated or removed his older list video because they were outdated and not good in general. That's why when you go to his channel, the earliest video on his page is "Top 50 Lost or Banned Episodes of Kid Shows" from February 2015.
@@RobsMedia25 no he started doing lists back in 2012 and I know bc I've been subscribed to him since and the first video I saw from him was his original most disturbing moments in kids shows list. He also released his top 20 "scariest" creepypasta list (which was really just popular pastas back in 2012 and 13). I think he started getting better in 2014 with his Disney/Pixar theory list video even though it did feature a lot of debunked creepypastas like Pixar Theory.
I unsubbed from Planet Dolan when they started churning out lame creepypasta videos where the narrator of the video would always swear up and down this actually happened to them. At first they didn't acknowledge they were pilfering content from Reddit, though at some point later the channel went back and added "reddit stories" to all the videos they plagiarized from Reddit. I guess I wasn't the only one who unsubscribed when the channel tried to legitimately pass off creepypastas and urban legends as things that actually happened to the person narrating the video.
That's kinda scummy, tbh. Like I did shitty stuff as a kid because I thought creepypasta (don't ask) I rather not have Pastas be passed off as real, or like stories that happened because kids thought creepypasta were real passed of as creepypastas- I've had my story used in a video like this actually. On video it was rated near one the top of the list, and the person who was making the video... I loath how he handled it acting like a "spooky" story, that was my trauma. I rather not have any one else stories, and trauma get used for clout and income at least without my permission. Which he doesn't have
I think The time I stopped watching was when they started putting weird photos as there video covers. Still the channel gives me some good memories but if I’m being honest it’s not something I could return to these days.
I stopped paying attention way earlier than all this planet stuff. News to me heh. I think he was still doing top tens, I'd never seen any of the animated cast ones. I only learnt through this video that Charlie was on there....and I first knew about him with his old as Hell gameplay videos. The first one I saw was a Mario Kart knock off so many years ago now.
This might seem like a stretch but does anyone else remember Dark5? Also a ‘list channel’ but the themes seemed much more dark, creepy, and honestly very interesting.
Yeah I used to love that channel back then. Slowly lost interest in their video format. I should check that channel again, wonder what it's like nowadays, haven't looked at it in sOOOO long.
@@thehr99 I swear I was the only one who noticed them repeat uploads, thought I was going crazy. yeah, that's why I stopped watching. fuck that channel, scummy af
i remember when i was around the age of 10, i was so in love and obsessed with planet dolan i would always talk about it and even got my brother into it. I had the game and everything, i loved it so much i even made my own little character or self-insert to represent me, i always drew her interacting with the other PD members. After four years i completely forgot about them until now, ive never cried so much or felt so nostalgic over a youtube channel. Its so sad to see members drifting away from eachother or the channel slowly dying planet dolan will always have a special place in my heart, it just isnt the same anymore
The three main Shima disappearance theories are: 1. Shima suffers from depression and disappears from the Internet intermittently when her depression gets worse 2. Shima's real life job/circumstances caused her to become too busy 3. Something bad happened in her life and she just never came back to the Internet after it I personally think that it's probably a combination of the above theories.
I have no way to double check this right now because I am writing this on a whim, but I somehow remember there being a stalking case with Shima. My sisters and I were avid Danger Dolan fans and after Shima's "disappearance" one of my sister's did some investigating and maybe saw something on her twitter about something like that. I haven't finished the video yet as of watching this, so I don't know if this is mentioned or if it doesn't have any substance at all behind it. I just saw a few comments here about Shima's disappearance without any mention of her possibly being stalked and decided to share the very vague memory I had of it.
Shima left because a portion of Planet Dolan's audience were being creeps to her because the animator who draws the characters was a weird NSFW artist and some of his fans came over to Planet Dolan and they began stalking her. It would've been nice if the artist and his fans were called out for this and they were forced to do something about it instead of her doing the apologizing, but in the end that's mostly why she left.
I still remember the days when I first watched him. I was there when he first transitioned into the Movies Channel, the original launch of Super Planet Dolan, the additional of the other narrators, the initial disappearance of Shima, Doland's relationship and eventual marriage to Gooby, etc. Now it all just makes me depressed, as Doland was one of my first interaction wit a community.
I had a pretty successful planet dolan fanpage a few years back, 2000 followers, made alot of friends in the fandom, and shortly before i quit, planet dolan tanked, and I resumed the page for a few months after trying to drive viewers to their channel, but it didn't work, it was really sad, because Dolan is a cool guy, and I talked to some people from PD, Because they found my page, i even had a PD animator follow the page, and they were all really nice and didn't deserve to have such a big downfall, dolan is working on a show now, gooby and hellbent stream sometimes on yt, I don't know much about the others, it's really sad, I hope they all succeed in whatever they try to do in the future
Honestly glad this video was recommended to me, Danger Dolan was a major part of my childhood, I loved his channel so much, but one day his channel kinda just stopped getting recommended to me and I didn’t even notice.
I don't know if any of the Dolan crew will ever see this but... thank you for all the memories. I've spent many late nights watching your videos with my cousins back in 2012-2015. I even stuck around for Shima and the introduction of Dolan's Brother, Hellbent and others. I wasn't the most active viewer but thanks for the fun. Cheers and I hope you all find your way. And to anyone that reads this, I hope you have a wonderful day/night.
Planet Dolan, a good business decision, turned into a really bad business decision, all those animators and voice actors, where was your money going Dolan? It's not infinite, his ambitions were too great, expectations too high, he kept hiring and hiring, and after that it was barely even Dolan anymore, I loved Hellbent and many of the new voice actors and things, the animations were cool too but I was here for Dolan, and trying to find the guy narrating over a video became like finding a needle in a haystack. I think Dolan has given up on this business, and I think the cast got laid off, if he comes back the man should return to his roots, it's been 5 years or something since a classic Danger Dolan list video, I think that could bring people back, sometimes simpler is better, and Dolan's massive ambitions ironically left him blind to what was actually happening.
Probably hard to do the old videos now. I'm honestly surprised most those old videos are still up considering youtube has become the world's most overbearing mother who doesn't like it when you use naughty language. Or pictures in the thumbnail.
Exactly, people were were there first in foremost for his acerbic yet humorous diatribes. No shade at those he hired later on but you’re right it became mired and saturated.
What a throwback. Loved this channel when I was younger. The disappearance of Shima was so intriguing and I’m surprised nothing has come to light about it after all these years. Really hope she’s ok.
I truly used to adore danger Dolan, me and my siblings all watched them together when we were kids Now I'm an adult and my siblings aren't far behind, it makes me genuinely sad to think about when we used to debate who our favorite characters and personalities on the channel and what story or most fun or interesting thing was on the list in the last video we watched while we decided the next one Things were always so simple
Also something I wanna add, we watched them from pretty close to the beginning of danger Dolans channel on to when Shima left and we kept watching for a while till sometimes after that,, and also I ended up first being exposed to critical on the channel who is still a favorite of me and my brother who both watch at least one or two streams a day
Whew. I really had forgotten about him.. I loved watching his videos, as well as videos from Matthew Santoro and Most Amazing Top 10. Probably someone else I've forgotten about too.. 💀
probably forgot about rob gavagan (formerly rob dyke). he’s put out a few videos recently but i feel like he hasn’t made an actually good video in years
Bruh I used to watch both of these guys everyday too back in the 2010s too, it's a shame Planet Dolan moved to an "AskReddit" kind of format in it's later years meanwhile Mathew just stole and copypasted the info in his vids :(
I was a huge planet dolan fan in high school and I got to witness in real-time when Shima dropped off the face of the internet. Everybody was making stupid conspiracies that she was dead or had been kidnapped or there was some super secret crazy drama between her and the other channel members. And then people would bash on her for “abandoning” the channel or whatever. And it’s like. Man. Nobody owes you an explanation for why they left the internet. That’s their private biz and if they don’t wanna talk about it, they don’t have to. And that doesn’t make them suspicious or flaky or whatever. I feel so bad for her honestly
I remember finding his channel in 2015-2016 and I binged it so much. I definitly noticed the channels slow but sure downfall of the channel, and the animated channel as well. It's sad - the videos are great.
I used be into the channel a long time ago, early 2010's. I unsubbed like maybe 5 or 6 years ago because of some the content repeating itself and just growing bored of it. I honestly had no idea Cr1tikal was one of the narrators until now, maybe because back then I had no idea who he was yet. Shima disappearing was strange, but I remember people not liking her initially because she "ruined" the Danger Dolan channel. This was such a nostalgic trip to my early years on the internet.
@@SACKBOY123432 Same, though I stayed on Planet Dolan for a few years before moving on because later on they only focused on reddit stories for shock value.
It was Chris Chan and his obsession with Doopie that killed Planet Dolan, because anything associated with Chris Chan has a tendency to go down in flames.
His lists are so nostalgic now. I was in the second half of elementary and early middle school when I watched him. Many of his videos scared me and I had quite a few sleepless nights but I still always watched them.
The original Danger Dolan videos from 2014-2016 remain to be some of my favourite comfort videos on UA-cam. I will occasionally throw on some of his old videos when I feel a bit low, and it always makes me feel better. Objectively, yeah his videos aren't the most creative or anything, but his personality shined through in a way that set him apart from other 'list based' creators at the time. Hope he's doing well.
Thank you for covering this. I miss Danger Dolan/ Planet Dolan/ all his other channels, he put out some good content in my opinion, especially when he collabbed with other creators. I wish the channels would come back, at least all the videos are still up, ripe for the rewatching. R.i.p Danger Dolan and the Planet Dolan crew
I'm in a little zone of hunting down my childhood favourite creators to get closure, most who had faded from my conscions. Theres happy ends, neutral ones, sad or disturbing ones, dead ends. Thanks for the video, man, I appreciate it On a different note, I forgot/didn't connect that it was Cr1itikal in the video. I thought I knew his voice from somewhere when I was introduced, or rather, reintroduced to him 2 or 3 years ago. Apparently, one of my childhood favourite channels, huh
I was really into the Question and Answer videos; someone asks a question, one of the characters gives a wildly incorrect answer and another gives the actual correct answer. It reminded me of Timon and Pumbaas' Find Out Why series if anyone remembers that.
To me, “Dolan” got corporate really quick and lost sight of what drew viewers to it. Or him, but that blurred distinction was part of the issue. A channel going from a sardonic and funny guy to “planet” that guy with a bunch of other, less invested people and all having these logo cartoon characters just felt really lame. Their momentum carried them for a while, but I think they also made the critical bad choice to try to appeal to kids, hence the cartoon characters and coughing over curse words or whatever. What creators fail to realize is that kids will watch cool things that are made for adults, but adults aren’t interested in kid stuff. When those kids grow up, they’ll stop being interested as well. On some ways, this explains the continued success of anime, as much of it is geared toward a more mature audience yet isn’t beyond kids to understand. The young and old loved the muppet show, but adults weren’t tuning into “baby muppets” or whatever. Just as with Smosh, the decision to go corporate, to get big and fancy, and then to get dumb was fatal. I hope he got his bag and is OK with what happened because the good part of it all was Dolan. The planet part, however, was super lame.
I blame UA-cam for that more. I remember at the time many of UA-cams changes hurt many of these animated channels. I feel like the channel was fighting to stay in the algorithm after awhile.
I miss the old stuff that was in the beginning. I wasn't too sure about the later stuff, as all the new people felt like it was getting so crowded. I loved the character's like Shima, hellbent, etc. All were such great personalities. I never knew what happened to Shima after it happened. I heard about the chris-chan stuff, but in the end... I miss the old clips.
You just unlocked a part of my memory I had completely forgotten. It felt like I had been sent back in time when the intro played. I used to really love their videos, and it's a bit sad to think how things turned out. Great video on your part.
Crazy that some of the channels that I watched as a kid are being covered in videos like these! Awesome video, totally forgot about the Dolan channels. Had no idea so much craziness went on.
I had this video on the back burner for a while because I didn't expect it to be as great as it was. You did a great job in pretty much ever aspect I can think of. Thank you for your work, and for the nostalgic feelings this brought me.
I really enjoyed the reddit stories when they made their own cartoons to set the scenery. Heck, I even featured on one of their stories; I was really shocked yet excited all at the same time. But when I saw them just reuse the stories with no countdown, i felt a sense of disorganized work. It's sad because I was a huge fan of their channel and watched Dolan when he just began the top ten lists, so I've seen his growth over the years😔
10:29 in general, ARGs including real life people (aside from historical figures) tend to be in poor taste. Its really gross to use real victims for a spoopy internet project.
I honestly used to love watching their videos. But i guess i kinda fell off after Shima Luan left. As she was basically my favorite of the bunch. It was just never completely the same afterwards, and i know a lot of others can agree to that, because she was in fact an extremely prominent figure to the channels. And since it’s been so long since i ever watched their content, I wasn’t even aware they stopped uploading
The Shima missing thing for some reason always creeped the hell out of me, Danger Dolan as a whole always made me feel unsettled, I don’t know what it is just something about his voice and stuff scared me.
Honestly, I forgot how fucking funny some of the older videos were. I used to watch them with my cousins a lot, and they'd help me understand certain things I didn't quite get at first since when Danger Dolan was getting really big I didn't speak English that well. But even when I didn't know what was going on most of the time I'd laugh anyway, either because he was laughing too or just the way he said it. I need to rewatch the old videos again now that I'm fluent LOL
I miss Danger Dolan. I feel bad that his content had to fall from grace the way it did. He was awesome, I still believe he is. His content just declined into doing boring Reddit stories, and I couldn’t watch anymore. Then he left, now all that’s left of him in my heart is years of nostalgia.
He was the first "top 10" UA-camr I ever watched and also the only one that I liked. I stuck around when he introduced more people but left soon after. Tbh I preferred when his content was simple and just him. I think that the Planet Dolan stuff should have been a different channel.
Danger Dolan is one of those youtubers i used to watch every night to fall asleep to but can't exactly pinpoint the time period or the year(s) where I watched em
I remember how everyone was so confused by shima, why would she just ghost everyone. then after going back years later she's just a generally very flaky person who didn't care enough about any of her "friends" to even talk to them after years.
I know people get anxiety but when it comes to your friends or family you should be brave enough to speak to them. She didn't therefore she doesn't care, she ghosted them and her fans. I can't believe I even liked her, smh. I wish her well, tho.
Months ago I was working on a draft for a Dolan video essay but after rewriting it multiple times I decided to shelve it, I'm happy someone was able to make a video about the topic, great work
Honestly, I miss the old Danger Dolan videos. I used to watch them almost all the time until Planet Dolan went down the stories route. I just didn't find them engaging or entertaining. It kinda makes me sad that its over.
Danger Dolan was a huge staple for me growing up. I absolutely adored Hellbent and Shima. Since they both really made me laugh. I was heartbroken when Shima left, and honestly I relate with her since I go radio silent when my mental health takes a turn for the worse. I just hope wherever Shima is she is happy and doing good. I remember binge watching their old videos and wondering if I would ever land a voice acting role on the channel since I was new to voice acting back then but i seriously will never forget SPD I just hope that everyone that was involved on the channel is living good lives and happy.
Planet Dolan was the channel that introduced me to Critikal. This was back when he didn't show his face and before he became as popular as he is now. Nowadays he's become my favorite UA-camr next to Markiplier
I stopped watching Dolan almost immediately after Shima disappeared. Despite her very brief stint there, she was the real star of the show. After she went silent, there really was no reason to keep watching his stuff, in my opinion. She brought so much character into his videos. It's sad she silently left without saying a word. I still miss her.
I wouldnt be surprised if Shima just ghosted everyone bc of the commitment, time, effort and emotional energy it takes to do multiple channels daily. I'd tear my hair out and live alone in a yurt for the rest of my life if I had half of that pressure lol
I made an update regarding Destruna, PipeAttack, and Dolan's return. It can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/JRloLcnm9kg/v-deo.html

A lot of his vids now look a little clickbaity, to be honest.
Is stopped watching him too lol 😂
That’s kinda how it feels with Mathew Santoro (If that’s how you spell it), the budget went up, but the content most definitely suffered.

I still felt like the animated stuff was solid but not what I was looking for so sort of stopped watching after that.

But is the content good?

UA-cam is slowly becoming a cable provider surgically grafted to a social media platfrom.
Ikr? Awful, and they are getting reeaal comfortable with the 2 ad count after every video now.. Its noticeable...
@Frax It’s gotten to the point where I feel like the majority of my time on UA-cam is spent watching unskippable ads...
I used to watch a lot of animations and ended up at one point only getting recommended animated music videos and cgi and like college animation projects. I never got sick of it tbh, just I watch other stuff too and because UA-cam is what it is, now I don't get anything like that recommended now.

Blameitonjorge has actually being doing videos since like 2012. He just privated or removed his older list video because they were outdated and not good in general. That's why when you go to his channel, the earliest video on his page is "Top 50 Lost or Banned Episodes of Kid Shows" from February 2015.

Everyone still does this.
I had the game and everything, i loved it so much i even made my own little character or self-insert to represent me, i always drew her interacting with the other PD members. After four years i completely forgot about them until now, ive never cried so much or felt so nostalgic over a youtube channel. Its so sad to see members drifting away from eachother or the channel slowly dying
planet dolan will always have a special place in my heart, it just isnt the same anymore
The three main Shima disappearance theories are:
1. Shima suffers from depression and disappears from the Internet intermittently when her depression gets worse
2. Shima's real life job/circumstances caused her to become too busy
3. Something bad happened in her life and she just never came back to the Internet after it
I personally think that it's probably a combination of the above theories.
@stupid Cat I remember her saying somewhere that she didn't really care people did. So I doubt that is the reason.
I just hope she's okay.
That "something bad" was chris chan.
Hellbent is still kicking it on his channel at least.

So this is why the uploads stopped?

Gotta go corporate to make it big it's how the game is played

This whole video is a memory unlocked. Used to binge watch his videos in high school
By far my favorite countdown youtube channel
@@dj_nyx8903 I think you both should rediscover your empathy, then hop back on the internet

Months ago I was working on a draft for a Dolan video essay but after rewriting it multiple times I decided to shelve it, I'm happy someone was able to make a video about the topic, great work
I never thought that I would hear Danger Dolan's intro again till now. This is bringing me baaack
Honestly, I miss the old Danger Dolan videos. I used to watch them almost all the time until Planet Dolan went down the stories route. I just didn't find them engaging or entertaining.
It kinda makes me sad that its over.
never forget, before dolan used hot girls for views and clickbait storytimes we had videos about creepy doll islands
I remember watching all his creepy videos back in middle School. tbh I forgot he existed, I might have to go back and binge watch his vids now
watching this unlocked so many memories i forgot i had
Danger Dolan was such a great channel, I still watch them from time to time
Danger Dolan was a huge staple for me growing up.
Damn , I remember loving Danger Dolan, it’s sad to see that all the channels are done now
I seriously forgot DD existed and am shocked at remembering how much I used to watch them
Planet Dolan was the channel that introduced me to Critikal. This was back when he didn't show his face and before he became as popular as he is now. Nowadays he's become my favorite UA-camr next to Markiplier
Ohhhh my god this just unlocked the memories of 8-10 year old me watching his horror videos and other videos like them scared out of my mind
Ghosting people is rude as fuck and gross.
@@bearzdlc2172 nigga no it isn’t lmao
@bearzdlc2172 Yes, exactly. You can just politely leave. You can spend an extra 0.0001% energy to let people know you're leaving.
