Good Morning and Happy Friday! You might notice some crackling and audio distortion for a couple minutes in the video, there seems to be an issue with a couple clips that Premiere Pro isn't able to resolve, which is extra frustrating since the video plays completely normally before being exported. Triple frustrating because we spent extra time reviewing and making sure everything looked great before exporting it.
Anywho, after spending all morning researching and attempting to fix the audio without success, rather than dwell on the negative, I hope you enjoy the video and take this as a reminder to give yourself some grace in your own life today... We're all trying our best and sometimes things happen that we can't control. Breathe in the fresh air, smile at a stranger, and give yourself a hug! Sending out love to you all! 💛✨

My husband always wanted the "perfect" tree - until we met!!! Now it's the ugliest tree, skinnest, the tree no one would want. Bringing one home and decorating making it a beautiful tree. Great satisfaction.

Lol, I was thinking of Clark & family the whole time Trent, Allie & Leo were out on their tree search excursion. And then when Trent brought it in the house and said, "it's a very sappy tree," that would definitely meet with Clark's approval (except Trent didn't damage anything when he brought the tree inside)🤣

Last year my son took his truck up in the snowy mountains. While there he helped pull out three people that got stuck in the snow. When he got ready to leave he also got stuck and his differential broke and no one was around plus phone reception was bad. But in a matter of minutes two guys in a truck showed up. They were not only able to pull him out of the hole but they towed him all the way home, about one and a half hours away. My son has always been and still is a good Samaritan. I'm a firm believer in helping others. Like the old adage, What goes around comes around. You are a good Samaritan also Trent!
It is nice seeing neighbors helping neighbors like back in the old days. Leo is getting cuter everyday. Stay safe and healthy. Walk in Peace.

I love the smell of fresh cut Christmas trees in the house! I saw a really cute ornament idea. This lady takes the bottom 1/2 inch off of her Christmas tree trunk, dates it and makes an ornament out of it. Really cute.

My husband use to find our tree during the summer and even trim a few so he would have his perfect tree. You guys should get Leo a sled that you could pull him around in. I'm sure he would love it.

Allie, you will be so sad when Leo outgrows the Blue Heeler shirt. My grandson had a Boston Terrier and we found a shirt with a Boston, it was his favorite so I bought every size in it up to a size 10. He always had his Boston shirt! I would buy a few more in bigger sizes while they're available, it so adorable!

40 years ago I learned my baby was allergic to pine. Bought a fake tree and have never looked back. Was especially happy when pre-lit trees came out and then, the ones with LED lights which last forever. Have had my current tree for about 18 years and it always looks great. There are enough expenses around Christmas without having to pay over $100 for a real tree. You're lucky to live in a place where you can cut your own. Merry Christmas!
Same here with my son. Every year his asthma would kick up when a "live" tree was brought into the house. Finally got an artificial tree and those seasonal episodes stopped. Allergist tested him and it was the dirt, dust, pollen and molds on the tree doing it to him.
Same. Tried it one year by the front door (away from the living area) and even that was a no go. And that was our last year cutting a tree. 😔
The tree IS perfect! When I was growing up in Missouri, we would always cut our own tree and sometimes we would cut a cedar instead of spruce or pine. Cedar is much harder to decorate because the branches are soft and flimsy. Didn’t matter, the gifts were the best part! I know this video was a couple of weeks ago, but it is still great to see them! Get a tree to tall, cut tree to fit room, use the Extra branches to fill in Void spots in the tree by drilling a hole in the stock where the missing branch is preparing a branch like a doll plugged into the stock of the tree.

You mentioned a hangover. One of the things that you have to keep in mind is that elevation, cold temperatures, caffeine, and alcohol consumption dehydrate. You must drink fluids both cold and hot. It will be a chore to do so because there is a tendency not to drink cool water when your body is cold. This is one of the first things that soldiers assigned in Alaska were taught. You would be surprised by how many heat-related injuries from dehydration soldiers experienced by not drinking water during winter time. You might try tea or water with lemon after your glass of wine.

I think your property allows for some space to plat your own xmas trees. Plant many and in 4-5 years time you can harvest your own trees without having to drive anywhere to do so.

For each of our children's first Christmas's we bought small live evergreen trees. After the holidays they go into an unheated space to go dormant for the winter. In the spring they got planted and we can still visit them.
It was so nice to meet more of your friends. It was also nice to see Shaun again -- I've wondered what happened to him! And the blue heeler shirt for Leo is excellent! He looks very cute in it!

Most families in Australia have ‘fake’ trees, every year they get pulled out of storage, the lights and decorations are added then after Christmas they go back in storage...we have been using the same tree since 1994 🌲🌲🌲
