Hi Prerna, just to add to this informative video- Organza’s which are hand painted are generally pure silk organzas. There are various organza qualities these days but most of the digital printed floral ones are semi-organzas and they will only set will when they have embroidered borders to weigh them down hence giving a better drape :)
Really!! I just wanted to buy an organza, but didn't wanna spend too much on the heavy embroidered one. I'm short and I don't wanna wear something that'll not set properly. Thank God I didn't buy.
One saree tip that i would like to share is that if you want check if anything is handmade or mahine made is that you can check it from the back side. Like for handwoven saree they use one thread to make one buta there will be a starting point and end point of a thread or zari, also because something is handmade then there are chances of minor imperfections. While in powerloom or you can say machine made saree will have fringes and it is machine made so there is no imperfections and if there is any so it will be all over the fabric or saree at same place.
My mom is exactly like yours..The knowledge that our moms have of the stuff, we are way behind..Also as aunty said jitna gur daloge itna hi meetha milega..It's not that you don't have to buy cheap stuff but we should appreciate if an item is expensive just because of the efforts put into it. Very good video. Both mom and daughter looking beautiful. Keep up the good work ♥️
You both are looking so pretty. And your blouse 😍😍😍 , your necklace they look so put together😍😍. I wish you also put a small bindi , i felt that missing .❣️
Very good video. Now we know the detailing you put in your videos come from ..that is your genes. Aunty ji ne accha explain kiya. I watch all your videos. I am not so much into styling but I love watching your content and learn a lot. Btw I really admire and respect the way you put low budget items too as you are happy and know what you are buying. Instead of mocking low stuff like many people would do, you nicely put it that you buy whatever you feel like at that point in time irrespective of budget. I have a same rani pink Mysore silk saree with golden border in my wedding trouseau.
Wow ... wonderful video... like mother like daughter...both of you looking gorgeous...I always appreciate your work... please make a video regarding how to take care of clothes especially silk sarees ..as you often wear your mother's sarees and it is as good as new...how aunty and you take care of these materials
Very good video Always good to see experienced people 's views You are lucky to have such friendly and understanding mom Love for your mom from Australia 🥰
I have real organza , that I purchased 15 years back. That organza is feather light and it is delight for summer office wear . I recently purchased another banarasi organza recently as Innis in tread but it was clearly different from the old original one .. why ?? Because they mix tissue threads & synthetic threads to make it affordable to all... and what a duplicate raw silk, katan silk, moonga silk is sold these days in affordable cost. I have my mom's sarees and my mother jn laws sarees in my wardrobe when I see those old original ones and today's fabric there is no match, whatever I have is a gem .. and with your ideas the old ones can be styled to new ones 🙂
Very informative..wao..actually hume pta hi nhi hota fabric ke baare m aur cheap material le lete h ..thanks prerna and auntiji..pls 2nd part bhi jarur banaye
I love your content Prerna ma'am ... Litterly it's hard to find this type of content by only one youtuber.... which is completely relatable and genuine ... Aisa bilkul v feel nhi hota ki zabardasti kuch v carry kar lia ho Bas photos me achha lagne k liye aur real me hum adopt hi na kar paaye ... It helps me alot for styling myself... Stay blessed and Thank you 💗
Very good video.. Plz do part 2 video...i watch your video.. In fact i tried sweater blouse with saree after watching your video .. It is very comfortable in winter and stylish too.. Also its saved lot of many as I'm styling my old saree and not purchasing new clothes
Excellent video, Prerna! My two bits worth while buying silks...1) a higher count or heaviness of the silk also points to good quality. For example. You get light weight Mysore silk with woven borders but which are not considered to be of premium quality. 2) buying silks from reputed shops also ensure that you're buying genuine silks.
Ur sooo sweet Prerna n so is ur mom ..loved the details u mentioned, please talk about sequence sarees n satin sarees too which r too much in fashion now .
Fantastic video knowing how not to be duped by someone selling you clothing. Spot on with looking at the saries in detail . My mom is the same way like your mom even if it’s inexpensive she looks great. Fabric is the key to your body type I believe . So many times I’ve been told that I carry my sari well. Keep up your informative videos!
This video likeUpgrade my knowledge into saree...🙂 can you please make video into chikankari , bcoz i think this fabric is hard to find in good quality.
Hi prerna ❤️ You are my all time favourite 😘😘 And this vdo is very beneficial for all 😊 Waiting for part 2 😊❤️ And please yaar prerna mummy ko bolne diya karo , unki baat poori hone diya karo ,😀😀😀🙏
Hi prerna, It was nice video .but please make one video on cloth maintenance because it's too hard to maintain cotton suits and other stuff as well .kindly share some tips for the same .lots of love ❤
Definitely appreciable video... coz it matters what you are pulling off and silk is most confusing fabric considering the different varients its coming now a days..
Prerna, pata nhi aap kese kar lete ho. I would have never imagined ki ye bralette itna versatile style kara ja skta hai... I mean ye mene apko kitne sare combo me use krte dekha h... amazing....
Handmade chikenkari fabric --- there will be knots from back side of the fabric which are bit costier. On the other hand , machine made chikenkari fabric --- will be identical from both the side are kinda on affordable side Handmade embroidery leaves many knots behind the side but, machine-made leaves few threads hanging on the reverse side to make a smooth finish.
Thank you for the tips. Very helpful. @Prerna cute blouse 🙂. is that a stitched blouse or a cami top? Also, please share some tips on blouse designs and accessories like purses.
Such a different video...and mummy has so much knowledge...mumma's always rocks ...I love ur mom yr she is soo cute thats the reason r u also cute....god bless ur mom n u
Thanks a lot to your mom Prerna. She is really a life saviour regarding sarees especially for people like us who doesn't know anything about sarees. Not even s of a saree. 😛 Love you ❤️ and your family 💓💘
I don't think ishe acha video kahin milega,.. It's important for every girl to know the difference,hm sochte h ki expensive fabric ya outfit purchase kiye h low budget me,.. This is what we cll fact.. Thnxx for this❤
Apart from the video, I loved the fact that you guys are aware that people from across strata are watching you therefore you were so cautious to not hurt anyone's feelings..God bless!
Thanks for sharing this info...and your mother is very sweet and down to earth that I appreciate ..u also have same qualities like your mom ..lots of love to both of u
Amazing video Prerna. Details are really helpful but what I loved the most is to see you and Aunty chatting and bonding together. And the last statement where she asks our suggestions touched my heart💜💜 She is so humble and that's what she has imbibed in you also
For identifying original handloom sarees like Banarasi you just have to see the underside of the fabric. Real sarees will have knots for the embroidery which the fake machine made sarees do not have.
SAREE QUEENS IN A SINGLE FRAME AMAZING VIDEO.... MUMMA ALWAYS ROCKS.... NOW A DAYS PEOPLE DONT FEEL THE NEED TO GET GOOD QUALITY PRODUCTS .... THEREFORE HAVING AN EXPERIENCED ELDER ONES ARE A GIFT ❤️ YOU BOTH LOOK GORGEOUS TODAY,, LOVE THE WAY YOU STYLED YOUR SAREE AND AUNTY TOH ALWAYS LOOKS AMAZING 😍😍

Very helpful video ❤️❤️ ... looking forward for part-2 🤩🤩
For identifying original handloom sarees like Banarasi you just have to see the underside of the fabric. Real sarees will have knots for the embroidery which the fake machine made sarees do not have.
Really ❤
Thank you so much for your valuable knowledge 👌
😇❤
