Inspiration - In Germanic mythology, the Thunder God (son of Odin) or commonly known as Thor is the guardian of Asgaard (Earth) He is the God of the common farmer, the craftsman, and the warrior. The mighty war hammer Mjolinr is his sacred weapon. The Mjölnir is still worn to this day to signify duality, the hammer can build and can also destroy. It represents the path of the warrior, honor, valor, pride, and strength (both internal and external). Thor is the great defender of men from evil, his ultimate nemesis is the Jörmundandr, in which he fights to the death in the last hour of time. The rune Thurisaz is the rune of thor. Thor is also associated with large trees and old growth groves. Thursday = Thors day.

@@asta9406the music they produce makes me feel alive. I can't even describe how Ulfhedar made me feel the first time I heard it. The music gets into your head and what you see in your imagination is from another world. Literally.
A perfect example of why music does not need lyrics. You can feel the power in the music just from the instruments and hymns without any lyrics deafening that power. A wonderful but yet powerful song. I truly enjoy this a lot, keep it up you twins.

Guys, I have to admit that Viking Metal is not my preferred genre, but it IS the fave genre of one of my sons (we have all heard about a metal concert held in Scandinavia that he is dying to get to). I listened to this just to see what your music sounded like. Decrying an entire genre of music based on one or two pieces seemed incredibly stupid. That sense of self-righteousness runs rampant in my generation, so I wanted to try it again. OMG, I am so glad I did! I really enjoyed this! The combination of ancient and modern instruments provided a really interesting fabric and the driving tempo makes it perfect for working out to. ❤️❤️❤️
