True. Vehicles must be played in a meaningful way. Like getting some points first with your team before using one. Or like a really tactical tool to help the team push across the map. Not like having a vehicle party all over the place.

tom meyer BFV is a modern title brah, only in 2018 will you have cyborg women on the frontline WW2. In 2020 it will be sooo modern. BF6: Tranny Caitlyn gets a fanny.
I played the classic Battlefields extensively, where only one of the four was modern, so I'm perfectly okay with historical settings, I honestly love them. I feel like most Battlefield players started with either BC2, 3, or 4 so they'd want modern settings. To be honest though, setting feels like a common scapegoat when it really shouldn't be (ex: there aren't enough weapons). The actual problem is that the core gameplay sucks, it takes from BF3/4's already somewhat mediocre and shallow core gameplay and worsens it. And unlike those two games, there aren't lots of unlocks to pad it and make it seem like a better game than it actually is.

Battlefield 4 is my one of my favorites games and still is my favorite battlefield game. IMO the gunplay is one of the best of any game and the amount of vehicles and guns is huge and there is so much variation.

Hey Veda, what do you think of Kharg Island, I was a big fan. I think that one major feature of good maps is the absence of large open areas that infantry are forced to cross in order to get from flag to flag. This is where maps like Giants Shadow, Golmud Railway, and the Armored Kill maps suffer. Kharg had hills, rocks, shipping containers, buildings, walls etc... though attack choppers could be a nuisance. BTW good idea on the new format, I like it.
I was also hoping for Kharg when DICE announced Second Assault, so was pretty hacked off when we got Gulf of Oman (again). I mean, seriously, when has that map EVER worked in Battlefield? But no, they added a sandstorm and made it even worse o_O
I for one am a big fan of large weapon pools much like bf4. I have always found that when a game starts to get a little stale a weapon grind is something worth working for to liven the game up. I'm just wondering how you feel about that topic and where you feel the sweet spot would be for how many weapons each class should have at launch. I myself would like to see it be around 20. I love this video concept also. I value your insight over the other youtubers that I have come across and I love the fact that you are already really good about interacting with your community. This is just another great step for your channel. You and Battle nonsense are the 2 must view battlefield youtubers in my experience.

Also it's interesting to see your opinions on BF2. I agree that it's quite clunky, but I personally really loved it, and to be honest I kind of disagree haha. I felt it was a better experience when it came to team cohesion, and it was a game without so many unlocks, which meant more of a focus on that core gameplay. I really wish we had an actual spiritual successor that added on to what BF2 laid out while adding the improvements from later Battlefield games.

I still like BFBC2/BF3 over 4. The maps were just so much more intuitive for the game modes, like Laguna Alta, Atacama Desert, Oasis, White Pass, Valparasso, Laguna Presa. Those are still my favorites next to BF3's which were Siene Crossing, Grand Baazar, Damavand Peak, Caspian Border, and Operation Firestorm. If you could input 3 maps from BFBC2/BF3 into the next BF title, which ones would you bring in?
