All Optimum said was that 240hz to 360hz isn't worth it, but 240hz to 540hz is worth it. For anything above 540hz to be worth it you would need to bump that up to 1000hz. 600hz and 750hz panels will NOT be worth it over 540hz even for those who do their best to gaslight themselves into swearing that they see a difference between 540 and 750. They won't see a difference.

Interestingly enough ive recently watched a video where a guy overclocks his old crt to 700 hz. Obviously trading a lot of resolution for it but it worked. And even oled isnt quite there yet when it comes to crt response times. So as a really competitive gamer maybe crts are the way to go 😄

The question that everybody ignoring is: What current competitive fps can be run at stable 700 fps? Like, the most two optimized competitive fps right now are CS2 and Valorant. You can't get stable 700 fps even with 4090 and everything set to low. I wonder if you can even have 540 hz stable on these games, and you for sure can't have 1% lows at 540 fps.
