TN panel's specialty is in how fast they can get so it isn't really ridiculous. In a few years even OLED might be able to push such high refresh rates. 750 Hz is new and therefore in TN panels right now but it just shows that in the future that will change. 750Hz for 1000 also isn't ridiculous for competitive games like valorant and cs. I'm not sure if the pixel response times are actually fast enough to get the full benefit of the higher refresh rate. It's a TN panel so there are crystals that have to spin and that can't be instant.
The placebo effect in prime form, not many games will run at that frame rate and when they do you notice a difference above 240hz since the hz increase is so negligible to the eye.

When theres a gpu that can actually hit that fps number in games, maybe the RTX 5090 comes out it would be much more worth it to buy one
Have you seen how the super sweaty pros run their games? Lowest detail most of the time, sometimes under 1080p. With something like a 4070Ti/4080, it's possible in eSports titles like Valorant and CS.
@@Liminal.Headspace i guess, but not consistently
worth it for who ? pros gets sponsored gears newbies can buy whatever monitor they want if i suck with 60 -144hz monitor you will suck with 500hz
@@turtleneck369 uhm, what i mean is for the average person to buy (maybe if they play fortnite or valorant competitively) it would be much more worth it when theres a graphics card that can CONSISTENTLY Run 750 Fps in Those Games.
$1000 for a TN panel is ridiculous.
540hz oled incoming
TN panel's specialty is in how fast they can get so it isn't really ridiculous. In a few years even OLED might be able to push such high refresh rates. 750 Hz is new and therefore in TN panels right now but it just shows that in the future that will change. 750Hz for 1000 also isn't ridiculous for competitive games like valorant and cs. People prefer refresh rates over color quality.
@@rafaykhanyousefzai The only thing i care about is colors soooooo
@@LinkAviationYTsooo this monitor is not for you, but for people who actually want that refresh rate. Why even bother commenting, just to say "it's too expensive because i want something else"
@M1szS exactly.
Huge respect for using Virtus Pro clip ❤
I have the Koorui 240hz 1440p and it’s great. Excited to see them put the limits of “affordable” monitors
I set my refresh rate back to 60 ages ago. I'll set it to 144 for the week and see if I feel any differently.
you know that there is a guy that already overclocked a crt to 700hz
My 60hz screen: IM STILL STANDING
Going back to 2009 with this one🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yes mom, I need that for my powerpoint presentations!
Recently got my old msi optix 27” from 2019 to go from 144hz to 165 after switching up to the display port
That little uptake in refresh rate seems to definitely help in fps games
except in reality data wise i doubt it i have 180 and 144 sure it feels different but i don't think i play shooters any differently its more about feeel than performance maybe for pros yeah
TCL is laughing right now
At some point the keyboard might end up being the one causing input delay instead of the monitors.
Time for neuralink
human eyes can sense up to around 500hz but ofc as you age it gets worse.
At this point I don’t think my eyes could register 750 Hz.
Our eyes don't see in frames per second.
We can see a bright flash of light f.e. lightning regardless of how fast it is.
But our brain glues multiple flashes together f.e. a very fast blinking light looks like a static light
I have a 3080 on my pc and want to know if its worth to upgrade up from my 60hz monitor and if so what to?
I really am getting tired of seeing new monitors with higher refresh rates. Can we start getting more inovations rather than making the hertz bigger?
Is mini-led monitors a good option for mid range⁉️🤔
You know its getting real when monitor refresh rates are catching up to my mouse's polling rate.
the fact people didn't seem to care about the jump to 360hz, but to 480/540hz they actually noticed the difference. will be curious to see which is the case for these monitors
Because there is new dimension to it. More than 500 is like looking through window I think.
Imagine 1080p with 1080hz
You can tell the difference between 30, 60, 90, 144hz. After a certain point the numbers don't mean anything and it's just mouse feel.
Big up mate for using old CS VP crew xD big up from Poland!
You made me addicted to the dream of pc building. Thanks man.
I've seen I difference a couple days ago between 60hz and 240hz, big difference
i have a 42.5-inch Iiyama LH4370UHB-B1 and a rtx 3060 ik i also do not have much money what should i do Zach
hey Zach, I have a pc with a 4060ti, ryzen 5 7600, and 16gb ram. my monitor however only had 70 hertz, while my pc can easily do 300+. I want to buy a monitor, but I can't decide on what kind/which one/how fast. some other info: I would prefer an ips panel, my budget is 400€, give or take 50, and I notice the difference between monitor speeds quite a bit. could you help me?
Do we even need that much though? 500hz screen already seems like diminishing gains, but 750?
It's only for pros and people that have to mich money not for the average users I would guess
@@TheKrys30 idk, even if i had the money o would feel an 4k qd-oped 240hz would be more premium than a ips 1080p wish would only cap at 300hx anyways.
@@gsst6389 yeah but 750hz and 300hz is a big difference. And when I say too much money I mean the guys that have have 4K Oled and they will still buy this 750hz monitor to play only a couple of games.
no , I don't think it will make difference to pros performance either at somepoint humans will always be slowest maybe you will feel better and think u have advantage which makes sense maybe that can help lol
@@turtleneck369 in proplay kills are a couple ms diffrence soo ofc more hz will make a diffrence maybe only one in 10 kill the diffrence will pay of but its stil worth any edge pro can have they will take
i still love 1080p. if i were to spend 1k on a monitor it would be this one
I have been cursed to see at 165hz, the issue it is actually painful to only be at 60 lol, it feels so slow, I’ve tried to describe it to my mom who can’t see 60, she doesn’t get it. For anyone wondering 60hz looks like how 15-20 hz used to look when I was younger…
i got a Koorui 1080p 165hz. Not a single problem. Koorui is great!

But i prefer the 3 itx builds because I don’t have much space so give me suggestions
I didn’t mention the ssd And i chose the 4060 ti in the small builds because that is the best option available for this case.
(I live in the uae that’s why it costs 1600 dollars)
They wanna show you your opponents' moves before they even make their moves😂
Finally, the perfect monitor to play a game at 1440p 60fps with FSR upscaling and frame gen
Like the Virtus Pro sneak peak
I would need to play in 480P to get those framerates. I have no plans to upgrade my 4070 Super any time soon. It's doing just fine with my 1440p 175hz OLED Gsync Ultrawide monitor.
Got myself a 4080 super GPU recently and now I’m confused about the amount of FPS needed and refresh rate at all. I don’t know if it is a new GPU feature or something but my 60 hz feels so smooth that I would have guessed it was 120 hz or so if I didn’t knew it is 60. My previous 1060 felt less smooth even with real 144hz. Now I have a strong feeling I don’t need to save for one of those fancy UHD 100+ hz screen in addition to my existing UHD 60 hz. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
The .5 response is whats making the difference not so much the Hz
I literally shouted out loud "DAMNNNNN" when I heard 750hz
I bet it can give you childhood feeling again.
Osu players can finally use those frames
I don't even like having my DPI up too high as the screen moves too fast for me to keep any accuracy.
Plus my 144Hz BenQ monitor seems to be pelanty enough for my use case. I just wish the colour textures were better and less contrasty.
Eyes can't see, but the feeling is way better the higher the hz
the problem is you pretty much need a pc with literally best parts and also need to lower graphcis to even get close to that fps atm
Are these monitors reasonably colour accurate?
This is so far beyond diminishing returns I don’t even know what to say
it's just number games from companies
I understand why the new GPUs need to be so powerful now
750hz is CRAZY. some months ago i thought 360 is the limit lol

Hey I was wondering if you could help me I have a rtx 4070 and a Ryzen 7 7700 X with a 650 W power supply whenever I try to play games and watch UA-cam at the same time my entire screen freezes and I can't use a mouse or open task manager so I I have to turn off my PC with the power button is there anything can do to fix this issue because sometimes it's not even just this and whenever I'm using OBS and playing games he scratches yourself too or sometimes really weird glitches happen like on Windows for my Bluetooth just disconnected and the only way to fix it is to restore my PC and sometimes restarting my PC doesn't actually restart it and I have to try again wait five minutes and then restart it again. Is there anything I can do to fix this this?
Yo is an rx 6600 for 190 a good deal I found one on Walmart
Tbh late this year I want to have a qhd 360hz oled HDR 10 monitor and a secondary 500hz or more 1080p monitor for eSports titles and have the qhd monitor for visual games
If we get a 1440p im sold
i currently have one of the best monitors (zowie xl2566k) 360hz panel, i'll definetely stick with it till atleast 1000hz panels
Well, it's not about the eyes, but more about the brain.
Our eyes always see and capture light, so technically, they can see infinite frames per second.
Its rather how fast the brain can process that information and visualize individual frames
I wish my eyes only saw 60hz because then I wouldn't be sad knowing I can't afford one
I just upgraded from a LG 27" 1080p 75hz monitor to an MSI 27" 1440p 240hz monitor with HDR support. Extremely worth the upgrade, but now I have an excuse to upgrade my 4060 ti.
ngl i dont even think the most powerful computers can handle those types of monitors, because not only do you need to maintain 750 fps, but you also need to have more gpu power for the increased refresh time
Only shit I thought my 144Hz gaming laptop screen is nice for moneywise but 750 Hz make it like feel like budget screen. Still happy with my purchase .
Damn a Acid Trip without the side effects
finally a monitor fast enough for the Ryzen 4070
I went from having a gtx 650 2gb to having a 4060ti 16gb ... Will it be worth it 😊
