Canon g7x mark ii and iii quality wise feels a lot better.. Solid... Canon has the best color in the business.. Canon menu is a lot easier and better screen quality.... Yes, Sony is better in some things. But the things that matters most to me Canon is much better built and functional camera then the zv1.. Lastly, Big plus for the Canon is the flip up compared to the side flip.. Sony flip screen feels cheap compared to the Canon.. My thoughts are based on using both and that I'm 60 years old...
Great video and comparison. I bought both and end up returning the ZV1. I wanted it mostly for still photos, and the G7X iii haven’t disappointed me. The larger zoom and the flash are a plus and the quality is good. Now, if we talk about video, I prefer the ZV1. The “Sony autofocus” will be always the winner
@@simis2265 I had it for about 2 weeks. If the subject was quiet and not moving at all, and the light was good, the photos were clear and sharp. But I have two kids, and they were always moving around, so the pictures of them were blurry and I really didn’t like them at all. That’s why I returned it. Because my kids are the first reason why I buy cameras. If you want a Sony p&s for photos, buy the RX100 m7 or m6. I did it. And I’m happy. The autofocus is amazing.
Just watched this clip, aside from the 4k overheating which I think is fixed with update now the cannon blew the Sony away better zoom better color science just a much better camera at half the price. Thanks for the comparison it's plain to me which shoots better straight out of the box.
Would you rather have a camera with good auto focus but mediocre stabilisation or a camera with good stabilisation and mediocre auto focus in the context of travel Vlogs/cinematic/flogging? Thanks
why nobody has mentioned the soft(lack of clarity) canon 1080 videos???.Not just the autofocus issue, the lack of crispness is so apparent even in this video...
It was humid so don’t hold that against the cameras in some shots also, when I used the g7x the second time it didn’t overheat…

Canon probably on its vlog mode does everything for you and the colors look great right away
