In the name of Allaah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, Brothers and sisters, please be aware that he made a mistake in aayah 48, may Allaah bless and forgive him. The correction is, in shaa Allaah: ...وأعتزلكم وما تدعون من دون الله Wa a'tazilukum wa mā tad'ūn min dūni-llāh...
The sheikh forgot a word in Ayah 19:48 and used another word(he may not have realized). وَأَعْتَزِلُكُمْ وَمَا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَأَدْعُو رَبِّي عَسَىٰ أَلَّا أَكُونَ بِدُعَاءِ رَبِّي شَقِيًّا
Aiesha Qutub it doesn't matter if he missed a word but just remember he did this for everyone and all you do is be mean instead if saying masha Allah well done May Allah reward you and just to say you missed a word
I know this Sheikh. I have spoken to him on fb. He is very likely to be grateful that I pointed out what I did, in shaa' Allah. We have to tell if someone forgets any word while reciting the Qur'an, someone may be memorizing. Qur'an is the speech of Allah, we have to be careful.
