You know, I originally felt really bad about Danny Trejo's character getting killed because he's a cool guy, but apparently that's his thing. Whenever he plays a villainous character, he insists that the character has to lose in order to show kids that crime doesn't pay. Okay, so I got something to point out here: 36:14 - 36:20 the Upsy Daisy attack. Look how high the character jumps when performing this Blaze move: clearing almost easily 12 feet or close too it in the air. That is impressuve on its own from a standing vertical jump. Add on an additional 150-260 lbs for any fighter in the game [give or take] the amount of abaolute sheer power to carry a body that high and then just pile drive them onto their neck: this move is easily nothing but Super Human level feat for murder. We are talking anywhere between 300lbs - 520lbs falling from an entire story onto a singular location in roughly 2 seconds if not less. @@TheNewWaveTimes I wouldn't say worse, just more sadistic. And doesn't really display a lot of Inhuman Strength compared to this gargantuan feat of leaping into the air. It is actually more feasible to obtain minor hops on someone's head than it is to jump an entire story regardless of weight.

Hopefully you'll see this, but the clinch kicks you get form Kickboxing are really good for closing out a fight. Keep that in mind the next time you're having trouble ending a fight. Plus the clinch kicks look cool especially since you can choose what part of the body you kick. Feels badass to combo someone out to end a fight.
For anyone who's interested to play, based on my experience and in game hints it seems that the AI reads your attack pattern so that you can't do the same thing over and over. For example, everytime you stand an OTG opponent you always do grabs, after a certain point the AI would just counter that everytime. This game always been so good no matter how old it was. AKI Engine is just way too advanced.
Even if EA or any other company bring back Def Jam again, Im afraid its gonna be flooded with DLC Characters and Moveset DLC Pack. Nowaday business practice scares me.
even if they don't plague it with microtransaction they would make it souless less stylized less over the top just another realistic boring ass looking game with simulation kind of fight
@@suffering9668 Reminded me of Def Jam Icon.
@@Abel_Unstable yeah what a sad looking game
@@Abel_Unstable Def Jam Icon hurt my heart to play, I couldn’t believe how they ruined my favorite game.
I love everything about all this. Great memories playing this game, and enjoying it again through Max's eyes is a treat. S Tier Content
This game is so hype and I'm glad you played the music on here.
@57:42 This Whole Fight With That Song - FIRE 🔥
This game was a true hidden gem amongst other fighting titles at the time. If they kept this same formula Def Jam: Fight for NY with the updated graphics then Def Jam: Icon could’ve been great.
Icon looks uglier than FFNY despite being on a new hardware
God Bless Max I’ve been waiting for part 2 😅
You can always catch him on his twitch channel. 😇
@@kiba860 true I do sometimes it’s just nice to see it on the UA-cam every now and then
Looking at Maximilian choose Ice - T immediately over Omar Epps and calling him a b*tch w/all of his chest. Proceeds to watch Maximilian get swept by Mobb Deep in the opening round of the tag tourney, leaving Ice -T to get jumped.
Omar Epps in a dark corner of the Chop Shop stage : "Who's the b*tch now?!"
Crack was legit the hardest fight in the entire game
Hes piss easy. Everyone forgets about the handicap match with Joe n busta
Nope the ffa with manny and also the fight with Sean paul
@@peighnesshonourchign9164 Handicap matches are always the dirt worst though. Remember the one near the end of Vendetta with House, Pockets, and... that third guy? Absolutely awful.
@@peighnesshonourchign9164yea I didn’t think that was possible to beat when I first played it
Currently at 41:01. Did anybody ever tell max about holding different directions while attacking makes the character do different moves? Especially during the heavy kickboxing grab and heavy street fighting grab.
Also I can’t remember, can every character turn an opponent around while heavy grappling?
I remember playing both this and Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition with my dad on weekends. Fat Joe was the one thing stopping us from finishing the game. We'd give each other turns and notice his patterns and shit. We weren't good at the game, but it's a great memory. Fight For NY will always be a Top 10 6th Gen game for me because of all the memories.
1:54:34 "How'd we switch spots?!" Ice-T hit you there and caused your KO lol
I only read a bit of the title first and didn't look at the thumbnail, I thought Danny Trejo was really murdered in a subway for a sec lol
Fat Joe landing the pedigrees on max JUST WHAT I WANTED TO SEE
Ahhhhh to be a hip hop head and understand ppl sayin "game over" cuz lil flip was his opponent and that was one of his songs when he was popular 😅🤣
There's plenty of little unexplained Easter eggs, like the tag teams being Havoc and Prodigy or WC and Mack 10 for a Mobb Deep/Westside Connection reference. Obvious of course but still appreciate them putting that in there.
This is a certified hood classic-part 2
02:06:01
“Am I gonna pee on him? What the hell is going on?”
😂🤣😂🤣
52:25 It was at this very moment, Danny knew............ he screwed up!
49:55 - 50:18
"Mr.Trejo I JUST got my buttons checked"
LMFAO!!!
*The title:* Danny Trejo is being murdered.
*The thumbnail:* _Egoraptor_ is being murdered.
Max here lookin like he stepped out of an episode of static shock
Fat Joe's "The Crack Attack" and Redman's "Balls To The Wall" were my favorite Blazing Moves. They deal so much damage.
20:59 Flawless Victory! Fatality!
The BLESSing of Matt Mcmuscles has officially been passed on to Maximilian.
One of Red man's "aliases" is Funk Docta Spoc... That's why his character is named Doc in this game
Danny Trejo done in at 52:20
Thank you sir
For me there's nothing more exciting than this series right now and I'm glad I'm here for all of it😎🍻🍺 14:25 you've learned..now the game is yours
Two things I wanna say.
1. Thumbnail looks badass.
2. Anarchy Reigns(Max Anarchy) soundtrack works with anything.
The fight against Crack is the hardest fight in the whole game.
Wrong
“Omar Epps is a bitch!”…i totally agree with you max LMAO
1:51:19 Magic just completely denying Max's KO over O.E.
Seeing how much max is having with this game makes me smile
Got flashbacks of fighting Fat Joe as a kid lmao
Man, could you imagine if this game had more entries and even had guest characters like Soul Calibur? Depending on the console you played on, you could use Ryu, Jin Kazama, or even Super Mario.
mario completely shattering snoop dog’s skull
Eeeeeh, might be a bit much
Mario would be dumb... but Jin would fit right into this game
@@ephemera-noctourniquet Well, the fact that Mario would be so dumb is why I think (at least at the time) Nintendo would've given the ok to it. Remember when he was in that one SSX game for the Wii?
@@-Ryu The GameCube port of SSX on Tour had Mario characters along with NBA Street V3.
I've been so eagerly awaiting the other parts of this after 1.
1:12:34 his mad cus you beat his Ass the last fight🤣🤣
7:50 😂bust that thang open 👐🏿 spirit finger's 😂
Best Fighting Game ever made! Nuff Said
been waiting for part 2 bro, please keep playing
Ask your boys Woolie, Matt, and Pat about Bless. He's a real dude that they know.
Ice was an absolute unit in this part of the playthrough. A full circle moment indeed.
David banners blazing move is awesome
This was the best fighting game of all time who can’t we get a remaster !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This game is a licensing nightmare, that's why you wont see a remaster
@@thepassingstatic6268 I know right I wish they could figure something out
