Come with me on my little walk around Buntingford just off the A10 south of Royston. A small town with a lot of independent shops, and pubs. Never known such a small town to have so many lol. Spent a lot of time here in my childhood. My mum grew up here, and my nan, aunt, uncle and cousins lived here until my Nan died in 2013. Spent pretty much all my christmases here until i was about thirteen with them all, and one of my best mates lived here coincidently, amazing memories ill treasure forever

Great video, I lived there for over 47 years and loved it, really miss the place with it's next to zero crime, good jobs, nice people, good shops and lovely countryside, exact opposite of where I live now unfortunately, property is expensive there for a good reason.

My friend lives on ermine street, I won’t say what house, robbery purposes, but I would recommend bunting Ford as a place to live in!

On another note if you ever want too search a little deeper for history around St Neots and surrounding areas providing you can get permission of course, I could bring my metal detector and we could have a hunt and maybe you could produce a another quality video from the footage! Just an idea btw 🤔

Hi BP, that sounds interesting, I have a look into that.
The building you refer to as Bridgewood House is actually Bridgefoot House and was a purpose built union workhouse (hence the name Union Lane) It could house 160 inmates.

I haven't looked through the rest of your channel yet, but you might want to head about 6 miles south to the village of Puckeridge and then another mile or so further south to Standon. Two small villages that I grew up in that have a lot of history behind them.
