I remember when Otomo put this band together... The electro acoustic and avant-garde world was all "why would he waste his time with JAZZ?! Jazz is dead!" etc etc....
This band does nothing but amazing things.... I have over 20k "jazz" albums, of all genres - and another 10k of other genres - and this album is one of my favorites - so I'm glad Otomo ignored a lot of his friends and colleagues and put this band together
