- Currently, there are six world heritage sites in our country that are recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)-an international group that seeks to promote preservation of cultural and natural heritage worldwide-the Baroque Churches of the Philippines, the Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park, the Rice Terraces of Philippine Cordilleras, the Historic City of Vigan, the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, and the Mount Hamiguitan Range Wildlife Sanctuary.
Of these six heritage sites, three of them have been reported to encounter challenges. Together with Kara, Raffy and Mariz, explore these places and find out what can be done to save them.

I lived in Japan for more than 20 years now. I’ve been around the whole country and visited many places. I’m amazed how the Japanese protect and take care their (meager) natural resources. They preserve their historical sites and man made structures. Their loyalty and love for their country is the driving force.
I envy for my own country Philippines. Malayong mas maganda at mas mayaman ang natural resources at mas makulay ang ating history. Sana ay ma-preserve natin ng husto ang ating natural at historical heritage.

Simula maliit pa ako hanggang ngayong matanda nako, unti-unti ng nagbabago ang Cordillera. Baka darating ang araw ay wala ng mag-aalaga nitong Rice Terraces dahil lahat ng mga kabataan ay expose na sa makabagong buhay. Makakalimutan na ang matatandang paraan ng kanilang mga gamit @ kabuhayan. Dapat always ituro ito sa lahat ng kabataan sa Cordillera para mapreserve sya. Baka matulad ito sa Mindanao na puro roads and buildings na dahil ang mga bata ay nag-aaral na sa mga cities @ dun na tumitira. Kahit ang mga kasuutan nila ay okasyon nlng nakikita o programa nlng sinusuot. Baka mawala na ang National Heritage natin. Hindi katulad sa Japan na sponsored lahat ng Heritage sites nila maging ang mga nangangalaga di2. National Government shud help hangga't may mga tao pang willing mag-maintain nito.

sa cavite po,, ang dami ding batong bahay,,, kaso dipa masyadong tinutokan pinansin sa programang tokhang, mga pulice din kasi ang mga protector po eh....sayang di di naisama.
May gumawa sana ng program for farmers to help them earn big (tulad dun sa Ireland ang daming milyonaryong farmers)...siguro the newer generation would want to be in the farming industry again. Problema dito sa atin, inaabuso at di tinutulangan masyado ang magsasaka at hindi pinahahalagahan maxado ang agriculture natin. Kaya tuloy nagiging isip...walang pera sa farming. Sana mag invest pa more ang government sa agriculture kasi whether we like it or not, Agricultural pa rin ang isa sa malaking part ng Pilipinas. Wala lang naisip ko lang. Have a great day :)
