    CrossFire combines the fast-acting, broad-spectrum control of metofluthrin with the long-term control of clothianidin in an innovative dual-action formula, made even more effective by the included synergist PBO. This approach allows CrossFire to knock down the bed bug population quickly and provide up to 4 weeks of residual control afterwards.

    If I already incased my mattress before spraying do I open them up spray then close back?

      If you skipped the spraying step before encasing, it would be better to leave the encasement on as long as you also have isolated and elevated the bed frame. If there's any chance that there are still bugs in the bed frame, then you need to start over from step 1.

      It would be ideal to completely treat your bed before putting on encasements, but for now leave the encasements in place and treat elsewhere.

    Is it safe for dogs ? My dogs are very young and spontaneous and I’m worried they’ll lick the product if I spray all over the apartment

    • @BedbugSupply
      @BedbugSupply  4 роки тому +4

      If you remove the dogs from the treated area until the product fully dries, the residue will be nearly invisible and odorless.

    Wait did you say nicotine kills bed bugs? So me being a smoker may actually be helpful?

    • @BedbugSupply
      @BedbugSupply  5 років тому +8

      Neonicotinoids are chemically similar to nicotine, but they are made synthetically in laboratories and are unrelated to the chemical makeup of your habit.

    Can I put an IGR mix with CrossFire

    • @BedbugSupply
      @BedbugSupply  5 років тому +2

      Yes, as long as both the IGR and CrossFire are labeled for how and where you plan to apply them.

    So if I use this product do I still have to do the incasement of the mattress and box spring?

    • @BedbugSupply
      @BedbugSupply  7 років тому +7

      Definitely. No spray or powder can kill 100% of bed bugs on the first treatment, and none of them can stop bed bugs from reaching you in your bed. You need to treat, encase, and intercept your bed to stop the biting and reproducing.

    How many spray treatments should I do before attempting to sleep on the mattress/bed.

    • @BedbugSupply
      @BedbugSupply  6 років тому +8

      If you're using CrossFire as part of a complete bed bug treatment process, you'll only need to treat the bed once before applying encasements and interceptors. After that, the bed will be effectively bug proof and won't need to be treated again.

    so how many gallons can you make with the 13 Oz bottle? and why isn't there really any reviews, science charts, etc online in regards to this product? is it more effective then temprid sc? can you use this then still put cimexa down? sorry for all the questions but like I said I found no info online about this product except product labels. thank you

    • @BedbugSupply
      @BedbugSupply  7 років тому +5

      The 13 oz bottle makes one gallon of diluted solution. MGK has a technical bulletin available that shows the residual efficacy of CrossFire on two common surfaces over a period of 12 months. I would say it's comparable to Temprid SC in effectiveness, and lasts longer. You can apply CimeXa after the treated surface has dried. Be sure to follow both products' labels for safe and effective usage.

      Okay thank you. so if already using temprid sc then no need to switch to cross fire? I know temprid is a repellant and cross fire is not. also looks like different ingredients in cross fire then temprid. so would it be good to alternate treatments? or switch to cross fire instead? or just stick with temprid? I want to be as effective as possible and get rid of these once and for all and for the price of cross fire I want to be sure it's going to be an effective tool against the fight before I spend the money. I'm currently using temprid sc, cimexa, encasements, washing and drying weekly, all clutter cleared, and all clothing has been washed dried and placed in bins.

      @BedbugSupply  7 років тому +4

      Temprid SC and CrossFire are comparable in use, so there's no real need to switch from one to the other mid-treatment. However, Temprid is not a repellent of bed bugs, despite what some Internet comments say.

    After the spray has dried is it safe to touch and breath? I am not sure I actually have bedbugs I just keep getting bitten at some time and have a couple nasty welps but the odd part is it is on the part of my arm that would be pressed against the bed at night and not really exposed. I am just so confused and worriesd I will have to get rid of my electronics furniture tents etc. Anything seems better than dealing with this itching and burning.

    • @BedbugSupply

      It's safe to be around after applying as long as you follow the product's usage instructions and MSDS both during and after application.

      I have the same problem except I sleep on my couch. I wake up and have a couple welts on the back on my arm. But despite my best efforts of searching and checking, am unable to find even one bed bug. Did you ever discover any bed bugs?

      They are excellent hiders.. I have an adjustable bed and couldn't figure out where they were coming from I turned my adjustable bed up on its side and sure enough underneath in the pleats is where they were

    • @br4nd0n79

      Daniel T hope you have gotten rid of the problem, my wife was getting bit every night on the couch and in the bed, I thought it may have been a mosquito, never seen a bed bug around the house. Yes they are great hiders. I got my wife and kids to leave the house for a few days, I slept on the couch and would get bite marks occasionally but never broke out, so I flipped the couch on its back and started to use a flathead screwdriver to push back on the fabric stapled to the bottom, was almost to the point of saying we have no bedbugs, until I got where she laid down on the couch, then I found one a little further down like three staples down there were about 5 of them plus their sheddings, couch went out the door and I’ve treated 2,200 sq ft of house built in the 1950s, so there are cracks and spots everywhere. Since I found that I’ve also found traces of them in closets by the bedroom and eggs in tiny cracks, small clear like a grain of rice. Sorry so long but once you start finding them you’ll find more, good luck and 50 days bite free is a good sign don’t give up on that war, not even moving will keep them away. They are a hell bug that’s making a dramatic comeback
