In this video we reacted to Jinjer- Outlander live. We loved this performance. Tatiana and the band always bring the heat. Give us more Jinjer please \m/
That was a Studio track over a live show, if you want proper live Captain Clock from Resurrection Fest 2018. Similar to Jinjer: Infected Rain - Orphan soul, Archenemy -Reason to believe. Rage of Light - Fallen (Tatiana of Jinjer and Lena of Infected Rain are friends, they have toured together in the past, and now they are both on the same label, hopefully will again) oh also how could I forget :Straight Line Stitch - Black Veil. (who show African-American women can scream to :p)
One of their 2 best videos from superbly filmed concert performances with perfect sound. Their performance of I Speak Astronomy at Summer Breeze in 2018 is pretty good too - the sound isn't perfect but I love the crowd because you can tell everyone is having a blast.
This actually wasn't live the studio version is being played over the live performance, however they do sound amazing live so you should react to Words of Wisdom live it is incredible!!
Infected Rain is similar Vocally, and their song Orphan Soul is amazing. They're from Eastern Europe as well (Moldova) and they have actually played with Jinjer quite a bit in their early years. Now, just to be clear, they're not Jinjer! Their riffs and bass lines are much more simplistic, but they're definitely great. They also just signed to Napalm records, so get ready for them to blow up in North America soon. The lead singer for Infected Rain, Lena Sissorhands, is a super sweet girl, and she has harsh vocals that are higher and more feminine. That's not a knock on her voice at all. It's just her style. Her voice is great! Keep up the good work!
Two other bands you should check out after Infected Rain, is Spirit Box (whose harsh vocals aren't really my thing, but her cleans are really haunting) and Oceans Of Slumber. Oceans of Slumber has multiple vocalist, and the main vocalist is a woman who has the smoothest voice you'll hear, but she doesn't do the harsh vocals. Listen to their song "Winter".
Jinjer is top notch right now, my all time fav, Tatiana kills it and Eugene is beast on the bass. I would def do words of wisdom, teacher teacher as my next 2 and infected rain is another band to check out..
my personal opinion, Tatiana holds top spot, her extremes to cleans are seamless, it just works so well....I have a feeling the other band with a female vocalist you say you're getting requests for is Spirit Box, they're a Canadian band and their vocalist Courtney La Plante can also transition effortlessly between extreme and clean....Tatiana's extremes are nice and low and her cleans are melodic almost pop whereas Courtney's extremes sound like you are being torn in half and her cleans have a lovely low eerie haunting tone....check out Spirit Box's latest video Bellcara....
@@johnfrank1574 Courtney and her husband guitarist Mike were in IWABO "Iwrestledabearonce"....it's still early days for Spiritbox, but they do sound good...I think there's a new single and video on the way possibly in June

You might want to try the band Infected Rain. They are along the lines of Jinjer in style, but the vocals are not quite as deep. Then again, not many women can do what Tati does anyway. Infected Rain are also from Eastern Europe and have shared some stages with Jinjer. Also, Lena, the singer in Infected Rain is actually a stylist by trade, so you might like what she does with hair and makeup. You could start with songs like "Mold" or "Me Against You" or maybe "Orphan Soul"; all are good places to start.
I think she's right. I've been trying to find more female fronted groups similar to jinjer and came up empty handed. The closest is Tatiana's friends band infected rain but I just haven't heard anything I liked as much. If you have a band like that there is plenty of room for you to rock out the way you want.
band like jinjer? impossible. But something "similar" can be Flyleaf. "Im so sick" is pretty good. Plus, the band "iwrestledabearonce" is really REALLY good too. highly recommended. U choose :)
For reference, here is a bootleg video when they were nobodies in 2012 (probably not something you'd want to react to, but it is worth watching) ua-cam.com/video/sXinr6fuDQQ/v-deo.html - they've been touring constantly to make ends meet for years. It comes down to experience and talent. Mass produced pop stars don't get a chance to develop that kind of experience, and if they hadn't had the talent and work ethic to rise to the top they'd never have managed to break out into Europe or the global market where they are now performing.
Awakening by Unleash the Archers. Brittany is not a growler, but she's a powerhouse of a vocalist. The guitar player does accent some of the lines with growling though.
Yeah, this one is a studio track over a live performance, but the "Republica 2015 " version is live if you wanna check it on your own time. Tati still kills it on that one too.
It was a studio overlay, sorry. BUT if you love her style changes and versatility check out JINJER CLOUD FACTORY ua-cam.com/video/LgFvXLbJMSE/v-deo.html Or... Crowd Factory (its the early Live version). I'm a huge fanboy :-)
The best band I can think of to try after Jinjer is Spiritbox. I'd suggest checking out The Beauty of Suffering, followed by The Mara Effect (parts 1-3). Same level of talent, similarly impressive transitions between screams and cleans, slightly different musical style. Very cool. Oh, and if you want to see a really great live recording of Jinjer, check out their "Live in Madrid" video on the Napalm Records channel!
Also talking about live performances, this was definitely a studio track over a live performance, though it did line up well. But that's what I love about Nightwish, they often sound better live than they do in the studio, at least with Floor.
Agonist is really good (older songs with Alissa White Gluz are best) as is Otep who is pretty much Tatiana's main inspiration. No one can really do Tatiana's range of growl to scream to clear though Alissa has an amazing voice.
To be clear, they DO sound really really good live, and like you said, some bands don't - HOWEVER, that is actually a studio track over a live performance.
I agree! The whole band contributes. That is very rare. I met Tatiana about 2 years ago. She is petite, but has an amazing attitude and personality. It comes thru in the music
The official live video of this song is amazing. ua-cam.com/video/GRPNSBgS2-8/v-deo.html You both should really watch that performance. Tatiana absolutely kills it at Loadfest 3!
New sub. Check out Jinjer Cloud Factory, Bad Water, Words of Wisdom. Some early Jinjer would include Scissors, Hypocrites and Critics, Destroy, Waltz. I will also jump on the Infected Rain wagon also. Check out Mold, Freaky Carnival, Lullaby, Serendipity, or Enslaved by a Dream.
The Agonist would be who I'd check out. Alissa White-Gluz was their vocalist but she left to be in Arch Enemy. I prefer her stuff in The Agonist because they were like Jinjer, a mix of clean and unclean vocals. Arch Enemy is all uncleans. Panophobia by The Agonist should be on your list to react to.
This is unofficial vid that they allowed to publish by festival people, and there is no word Live in the title, so yeah this studio sound, but they perform it just as good especially with the latest drummer. However this song is performed rarely lately for some reason, which sucks.
IF you want a true LIVE outlander video, you can check out this one from jinjers channel, ua-cam.com/video/GRPNSBgS2-8/v-deo.html I have been following recommended bands and songs to try to find something similar to Jinjer. So far, nothing. not dumping on the other bands. I give them 3 songs to win me. So far there is nothing that make me want more. Jinjer made me want more and search out everything. Most female growlers, make me feel like it is an ex girlfriend yelling at me because I left clothes on the floor. JInjer is a super tight band and I cant get enough of Tati's clean vocals. The only complaint I have is they are so tight and stick exactly to the studio versions. They use sound tracks live and can not deviate. They must stay on time because of things like the ticking clock sound in Captain Clock or the backing sounds in I Speak Astronomy. But I am on a mission to see them live. Cant get enough!
check out Spiritbox and their song Belcarra, Courtney LaPlante is just as much a beast as Tatiana. There is a video of her singing this song live in a studio just on her own but there is also an official video if you can't find that one.
I believe The Agonist is similar, after a fashion. Not around anymore though. Their lead went to Arch Enemy and they only do full growls and she doesn't do clean vocals mixed in like she did before with the Agonist.
Yes, Arch Enemy !!!! :) Both Singers are great in my opinion. For the old singern (Angela) i would definitly recommand a live version like: 4 ARCH ENEMY NEMESIS LIVE IN TOKYO ua-cam.com/video/nEUayPRyF-Y/v-deo.html She had an awsome Stagepresents For the new singer ( Alissa) i suggest: The Eagle Flies Alone or for some good lyrics The Race
I seen in your vids that you've done some BabyMetal, right on ,just thought you'd be opened up to try some Ladybaby another Japonese group, you might even get a LAUGH , try Nippon Manju
New subscriber here. Ive watch your first reaction on Pisces Plz react to NIGHTWISH- PHANTOM OF OPERA (live) Its a rock band and they cover that song into a rock version, And shes also a girl.. Both of you gonna love it.
@@TheAdventuresofTNT I just went back and could comment... Sorry about that. "Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K". (Forgive my somewhat obscure movie reference) (Yes I know it's not that obscure).
They are great performers but I think she has a special microphone...I've seen some of her interviews and she has been asked to do the growl and she refuses...either way they are a great band...
Jinjer - Who Is Gonna Be The One (live)

For the new singer ( Alissa) i suggest: The Eagle Flies Alone or for some good lyrics The Race
React to SIT STAY ROLL OVER -Jinjer Please!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps you could try Spiritbox, it's not really the same vibe, but you have the same kind of alternance...
Slipknot spit it out live 2009 @download

Hey, I don't know if it's just me but we can't comment on your Man in the Box video.
That's wierd. I'll look into it.
@@TheAdventuresofTNT I just went back and could comment... Sorry about that. "Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K". (Forgive my somewhat obscure movie reference) (Yes I know it's not that obscure).
Here y'all: this will put to rest what they sound like live: ua-cam.com/video/ew48eCy2fhU/v-deo.html

Jinjer "Picses"
We did it already. Check the channel. It was our introduction to jinjer. It's a great reaction.
They are great performers but I think she has a special microphone...I've seen some of her interviews and she has been asked to do the growl and she refuses...either way they are a great band...
I sense a lady crush
