The lyrics and story in this song are honestly superb... the way zico's thoughts evolve with each chorus as he dives into his relationship and looks on himself, there's so many lines you can just pause the screen and actually take a moment to think them through, to even see yourself in them... or maybe i'm just being a bit too emotional lol nonetheless, after these lyrics, this quickly became one of, if not, my favourite zico song. dvwn's voice is a very good addiction to it

I liked this song already when I was still in a relationship...
Then after my boyfriend for 10 years broke up with me, I appreciated this song more... I can relate to it so much.
I just started listening to Zico’s music and it’s really good! But like watching that video where he talks to the kids about ‘being left’ makes me cry cause the way he’s talking to the kids remind me of me and my friends calming talks we would have when we were alone! Unfortunately I don’t talk to that person anymore cause of some unfortunate events that has happened this past 2 weeks (they were just toxic and I knew I had to do something before I ended up ruining myself even more over trying to be a good friend and ignoring the red flags) but like just watching the way he interacts with the kids make me kinda miss having that person around. I know that what I did was probably selfish but their was just this little voice in the back of my head yelling “You know what has to be done! Though it’ll make you feel selfish it’s for the best! You can’t keep helping someone who cant help their self! Let go of them or it’ll hurt you more” then I remember at lunch I texted another friend about my situation and they ended up telling me “For a person like you,who cares more about other people than their self, it’s okay to be selfish sometimes! It’s okay to make decisions that seem selfish because theirs no point in you ruining yourself to the point you decide that you can’t handle anymore and kill yourself!” I asked them how is it okay for me to be selfish to a person that needs help and they responded “Stop beating yourself up and women up! For once in you goddamn life look in the mirror and I mean actually look! Have you ever realized how worn out you look? Have you ever noticed the bags underneath your eyes or how dull you’ve become? Have you ever looked seen how worried you’ve made everyone? Have you even cared for yourself at all? No! You haven’t and that’s what haunts me! Baby, you can’t keep going on like this. It time for you to let go or you’ll be too late”
I relate to you. Actually, I've been in the similar situation just like you, I always have this best friend and everytime when were alone we sometimes talk on our lives and our problems, our inner thoughts. I always thought that we will be together but I was wrong, I felt so stupid and betrayed. When she like this boy in our school and they started dating she began drifting apart from me. We rarely talk and she does not update anything to me, I felt alienated. I did my best back then to hold back everything and now I can't. I just found myself deleting our convos and blocking her on fb. I know I'm being selfish. Sometimes I asked myself Is it the right decision or am I just constantly asking for attention?

I'm stuck with this song for 2 weeks now 🥺🥺 and the time is still weird...
zico has always been great with whatever genre he makes, from hiphop to ballad to rnb sdfsdkfjsdlkfjsdfl from the instrumentals and up to the lyrics, everything was just perfect. from lighthearted lyrics to deep-felt ones, i have always enjoyed his works. but the “thinking” albums were really just THOSE albums. i have always respected block b's musicality overall, because they really go from a lot of genres from hiphop to rnb to ballads and pull off EVERYTHING. but i especially love it when they make ballads, and with zico, specifically, this song is definitely the one that i was really put in awe the most YET.
