can we just appreciate how good the other contestant's voices are? i mean yeah most of us can guess correctly, but when they sing even i was like wow.
some ppl enjoy feeling superior, they like to act they're special bc they know everything
That's also probably why the audience had a hard time guessing (they had a time limit for each song) cause they all sounded so beautiful so they got lost in listening and had a hard time guessing 🥰

i’ve been her stan for a long time and always listen to her voice. i knew it’s her when she starts to sing. she has a slight different and unique tone to her voice compared to others who sounds the same.
@@DepressedSalvagerI guessed only the last song correct. On other round, I kept guessing wrong though it's a very close guess. It's when she sings ballad. It's very distinctive when compared to when she sings other genre. Or maybe just that song because I listened so much to it. Haha. I like the chubby girl's voice. She managed to deliver some of Taeyeon style but her vice are more tone down than Taeyeon. She don't really have that husky tone that Taeyeon has.

The girl in the genie cosplay had the closest voice to her. Next is the girl in the yellow pants. It's good that they were the last 2 with her in round 4. I had a difficult time finding out which one was Taeyeon when they did gee since I didn't know how Taeyeon would sing the lines of other members. I was only able to differentiate her with her ballads since I've been listening to them since I was in high school lmao.
She's Kang Sira and participated on Produce 101 (made it to the final but unfortunately she was too old to debut with IOI), and she released her solo debut after that!

Taeyeon's voice in general can be assumed to be deep and soft, and easily confused with other similar voices of similar tone. But her uniqueness lies on the nasal sound and the way her vocal coming in whole, making her singing voice sound fuller, controled, and also full of depth at the same time. Other would be: her emotional conveyance.
Taeyeon's voice is still unique. They didn't realize bc they don't eat Taeyeon's songs every day like us😂 We're on the next level and got TY all correct easily. The girls only could copy Taeyeon to a certain extent. They sounded completely different when singing together without TY, the last round for example 14:13.
And the girl in genie outfit sounded more like Seohyun than Taeyeon

Back then, Korean Sones blamed on the voters, how can they not know the voice of Taeyeon. But they refuted back that the sound quality of the studio was worse than this video.
We heard soloist Taeyeon's voice for 7 years, but this program was 10 years ago. Sones in this video mostly heard Taeyeon's voice as SNSD. So we all have to understand the situation.

I think it was how SONEs including me felt at first like how could they not realize TY, it’s pretty easy. But we had to understand majority of them were just normal listeners, definitely not like us. That they didn’t realize her should have been understandable.
However that Soshi members could firmly choose who is Taeng made me happier.

They got it wrong because of narrative that she has a big and powerful voice (because of her high notes in SNSD's voice). She has this softness in her voice while all the other contestants have deeper voice.

for me,round 1 is the most difficult but the rest are pretty easy.When Taeyeon sings Can You Hear Me,i can just guess that in a split second tho.Her voice is just that ✨soulful and emotional✨

majority of my song playlist in my phone are Taeyeon's songs, listening to her everyday and everywhere I go, makes it easily for me to guess where she is.. Taeyeon's voice just sounds different, there's just this low husky voice that distinct her from the rest. and Tiffany guessing confidently was a big TaeNy moment or if she had guess it wrong Taeyeon probably would be disappointed hahah

Listening to many of Taeyeon's OSTs, it was quite simple to notice her vocals. While they do sound similar, there is a unique sound of taeyeon's singing that makes her stand out. The others were slightly deeper. The 1st round was slightly confusing but after hearing all 6 I could tell apart which was Taeyeon's
I got her all correct. Been sone since 2013. She's my Bias so I know her voice so well.

All of them can copy how to sing like her, even her tone a little bit, but non of them can copy Taeyeon’s “EMOTIONS” when singing

i think that's a bit of a given... because they'd be focusing on copying taengoo's voice and if they sang with their own tone/voice i'm pretty sure they'd convey the emotions well.
Similar tones, but I think it was quite obvious which Taeyeon's timbre was, not exactly related to the emotions.
@@jurinaissance Everyone who says this also is speaking from a point of bias in watching the clip. Most people in real life probably wouldn't be able to tell. We tend to be biased largely to preserve that we are right. Most people heavily overrate their expertise but when put to the test, most of the people claiming they knew the answer would undoubtedly fail.

I m not even a SONE or SNSD 's music styles not fits my music taste but I could clearly hear Taeyeon's voice. I got all 3 right. Her voice is like super clean like an ice and thin but strong.

The fact that I'm not even a dedicated SONE but got all of them right says a lot about Taeyeon's voice. Even if they sound similar I was able to pick her out because she sounded the most stable out of all of them. Her voice didn't tremble and carried enough power to convey the message of the song. I almost picked the one in the Genie outfit during the last round (number 3) but her voice shook a lot so I knew it wasn't her.
Taeyeon has a very clear voice, she also has a soft voice while the others, one you heard the mouth sounds while singing, the others were a bit raspy, deep or hoarse or too nasal etc. For me it was pretty easy to pick out who was Taeyeon

I got her right too in all of them, thank God. But hats off to all these contestants for honestly doing a great job at singing the songs. Definitely better than some idols. Hahaha. If you're a Taeyeon fan which I'm assuming these girls are, there's a good chance that you're a good singer too.
A few girls had the correct technique to emulate Taeyeon's voice, but her voice is so unique that it made clear who she was in every single round. As a SONE and Taengoo stan for 13 years, I would be mad at myself if I got wrong.

I pretty much just know Taeyeon from INVU, so it was fun to learn more about her voice here. The other singers were really good, too! I think the singer with the yellow pants ended up being my other favorite. Also it was kind of hilarious to hear Unstoppable being used on a game show.
