- On today's what if video we go through a world where Goku landed at Kami's lookout. This Goku ends up being raised by Mr Popo and Kami to defeat King Piccolo. But how will this saiyan boy be treated as his morals are challenged? Lets find out as we watch Goku find thew dragon balls and fight the Red Ribbon Army!

Wukong would be a Nice name for this version considering how much closer his relationship to a "God" is compared to his Prime Counterpart at least earlier in his life.
Keaton Harris actually gods have mystical names, Wukong is a fantasy mystical name. So it makes sense

As part of your “What if Goku Was Raised By” series maybe you could do one where Goku is raised by Master Shen to be an assassin? I think Raditz would get along well with him.

Either he would not understand that yet and it would become relevant when hes older and can rationalize (because Piccolo is very intelligent and I’m sure that would be the same here) or the kindness he showed his father and that he felt grateful for, would somehow carry over much like his ill will did originally?
Maybe it was because Goku had shown him kindness during their battle.
The Piccollo we know never met the original King Piccollo, and didn't really care for it. And their 'friendship' started when they both had Raditz as a common enemy, and one thing just lead to another after that.

Well assuming he doesn't hit his head he'll probably go by Kakarot, if not that then perhaps some name meaning God or Demi God
This is beautiful because it shows goku's progress not only in strength but in compassion it makes me personally happy to be a dragon ball fan and makes me think of the original dragon ball differently

Part 2 and your just so good at what ifs
#DBQ Smugstick, thanks so much for making this video. You make some of the finest videos on your channel and your what ifs rule. This one in particular is pretty interesting. Goku's a lot different than his canon counterpart and the fact that Eighter joined him instead of staying at Jingle Village was a bit of a head turner. That, and Piccolo Jr. being spared to the very point of Goku wishing to raise him to set him on the true path and have him be a better person than King Piccolo and Kami. And as for Kami, there's no doubt gods make mistakes and boy oh boy, Kami. You goofed big time. Mr. Popo seems to be a better father figure on the same level as Grandpa Gohan.
I just hope Kami gets a learning experience and gets some redemption in part 2 since I prefer he learned just as much as Piccolo did in canon. And speaking of part 2, I'm surprised this what if is a collab with Plus Ultra Man and he'll be doing the next part as soon as he can. That's pretty cool. I just hope he'll still have the means to work on his What If Zabuza Survived series.
That, and a couple days ago, a family member of his wound up in the hospital and that shot his motivation to hell. Hope he's alright and the same going for his relative. I even sent a comment on the community tab on his channel to give my thoughts and prayers to him.
Anyway, thanks again for making this what if and I hope to see P.U.M. (Plus Ultra Man) release the next part real soon. I'll be waiting. FYI, it's pretty amazing and interesting that Goku's empathizing and kind nature lead to him sparing Mercenary Tao and showing kindness to a dying King Piccolo in this what if. That's pretty sweet to have added to his character. In the meantime, I'd like to take up the name game you brought with the latest Dragon Ball Question of the week.
For the names, two that come to mind are Tenshi and Wukong. See, sleepy as shit Sandy Cheecks and Trent Rider came up with the names and those two sound like pretty good names for old Goku. As much as his original canonical name and the Harmony Dub name sound cool with the latter being pretty cool and a nice callback to the old Dragon Ball dub, I think Tenshi and Wukong sound more appropriate. So thanks for those comments and shout out to you guys.

I'm looking forward to PlusUltraMan's part 2 :). Also, I'd name Goku a derivative of Kakarot. Something like Karu perhaps, and put him in a world where his head injury did change him somewhat but he doesn't completely forget who he is and has a vague impression of it so that he ends up being some kind of fusion of cannon Goku and Kakarot's personality. He'd probably end up being a little like Bardock in this case and I could see where that personality might attract Bulma before Vegeta ever gets a chance to :). Just some thoughts I had. Keep up the great work man :D.
