  • How to identify your chainring for replacement. You may use a ruler or a micrometer for this measurement. There are many things to take into consideration. The reason you may want to replace the chainring is to make it easier to pedal up hills. Therefore the tooth count is important, bolt hole count, one x, double or triple ring. keep in mind a 1 X ring is specific to the thickness of the teeth. Of course the most important for installation is the bolt hole spacing.

On the SRAM’s chainring direct mount, do you need spacers or are they ready without any modifications? Boost provides a 3mm offset vs 6mm

Can you swap a 10-speed chainring with a 11-speed chainring while leaving everything else the same (same # of teeth and BCD)? I currently have 1x10 drivetrain but need to buy a new chainring and was thinking about about the Xsinc it's mostly for 11-speed. Appreciate the help. Thanks!

simple on a 5 bolt hole you measure from the backside of one hole to the center of the other hole leaving one hole in between not rocket science.
