Unleashed should've used the emp to shoot down the pacs instead of... whatever he used it on. I was really waiting for him to do that. But guess there was no harm done. Also, your vods certainly deserve more recognition.
Exactly, I had the same question! He had harvesters too I think. Even one would be sufficient for a start. If there were no harvesters he could have sold his structures to get some money for building one. But he was just sitting doing nothing like a duck and lost a won game :(
1) He might've not know that the airfield was the only production building. 2) Considering the above, and that his opp had superior economy - time would work against him.
I never understand why people dont use PACs defensively. Take out the emp. Pop the PACs over your base in strategic points and whack the ion storm on. Sorted
BFMert it’s old I know, simple version is they’re not hated per se (except by me) but they are buns) Traveler 59 and scrin in general is the epitome of aids if you look at the human factions you see some creativity and sandbox tactics, the Shatter tank for example is pathetic on its own or even in a mass group of its friends, it needs supporting units such as predators, and has no way to fight air With scrin you see two new units that have enough versatility that there’s no reason not to make them (except Mechas VS Sonics) Vs traveler it’s even worse Not only does regular scrin get enough get out of jail free support powers (stasis, phase) but travelers units are just plain broken Period Cultists have the speed of buzzers with armor unmatched by all but the Black Hand, and can take any ground unit (except commandos, other cultists, and Epic Units), the prodigy has infinite uses, can capture anything, is overpowered (again, butthurt trav players will tell you otherwise but even Masterleaf has admitted that trav is broken) Also the teleporting hexapod The prodigy garrison gives the hex an active Teleport cooldown, and then the prodigy can be rebuilt Literally all you have to do is teleport into an army, no matter what (except EMP, it’s the only way to stop it, which is why Steel Talons is the worst) and then tp out with the prodigy But get emp? No problem! The phase field not only makes your hex invulnerable, but it also has a bug where it’s timer doesn’t count down when the unit (if it’s a vehicle) is emp’d! On top of faster wormhole cooldowns making wormhole mastermind even deadlier with the prodigy (even excessive anti inf turrets still cant get it sometimes, if you’re Nod vanilla you just cry, the shredders suck without upgrades) Also instead of removing any army for 20 seconds with stasis, why not make them worthless and let them die with Temporal Wormhole? On top of regular scrin BS like the mechas, buzzer swarm making anti infantry units unnecessary, phase field on vehicles to crush inf anyway, recyclable abilities, and you’ve got yourself the most broken bullshit I’ve ever seen, there are some times where no matter your skill you will lose to some of these things or a weaker player can even the field, especially against a faction susceptible to scrin like Steel Talons Sorry, I have a vendetta against bullshit in games (MW2 OMA, cod snipers, battlefield AA camping, etc) and just can’t help myself Some of the BS I mentioned was used against unleashed and had Leaf not made some autist decisions like no defenses, no more unit production, actually killing the back PP at the end, he would’ve won hands down, despite good play by unleashed with nice combos and good decision making
Lord Viktor Cnc-online.net allows you to play like the old days I recommend the 1.02+ map packs for community made bug fixes and balances (plus new maps!) Find those on gamereplays.org under the Kane’s Wrath general discussion, it’s pinned near the top
I have been watching so many video's now. Im pretty much a complete noob in competitive c&c as i never did pvp. But it seems like scrin and its sub-factions rarely win xD
I find myself questioning decisions sometimes...and then I realize that these players could likely beat me with 1 hand behind their backs haha. Will admit that I'm not sure why he pulled away there, especially with the air tower there.

A bit late to the party, but moving to focus down the drone platform was brilliant. It prevented Masterleaf from building AA and whatever else he was building, as well as not giving him time to repair. Although, he could have turned the ground forces back as soon as the structure went down. Guess it was stress.
Oh please, even after 8 years of not playing, I came back and still watch and learn from Unleashed's replays. He is still the best after 8 years of content from others in a base trade, get the MCV or Drone platform asap. This way you reduces chances of your enemy sneaking some buildings or rebuilding the Gravity stabilizer that you just destroyed. If Unleashed went for the other buildings, the drone platform will get better chances to live and re build because he had not many anti air units left.
That was nuts, totally thought Masterleaf had it

@@looinrims and guess what patch 1.03 did. It is just a scrin tweak. And nerf for GDI and NOD things that hurts scrin.
