- ISRO launched Chandrayaan 2 in July 2019. Its lander failed to Land moon on 7 September 2019. Now India is heading back for a moon landing on 12 July 2023 with Chandrayaan 3. What caused the Landing failure of Vikram in 2019 is still a mystery for many. We will try to explain Why Chandrayaan 2 failed to land on Moon. What did ISRO learn from that failure? How they used a failure-based design for Chandrayaan 3? And what is new in Chandrayaan 3 Lander? All of this is explained in Hindi by Ayushkaari.

I want to share one astrological aspect of failure of Chander Yana-2. Before one or two months before the launch of chanderyaan-2, Gaytri Devi Vasudev, editor of -Modern Astrology-a monthly astrological magazine had prophesied in her detailed article that the timing of launch (Muhurat) of Chander Yana-2 was inauspicious and hence the mission would not succeed. And when it was about to land and myself was confident that her prediction will fail, but just at the same time the bad news of its having lost contact came and her prediction came out to be true. Amazing indeed !

This type of detailed explanation of chandrayan 2 failure should be introduced in schools level. So that new upcoming scientists learn a lot from school level itself.

Beautifully explained in contemporary Hindi without unnecessary translations of technical terms. Throttling steps explained very well with commonly available fan-speed-control analogy. Awesome!! Great explanation of everything at a granular level. Although, in short, the main problem with C-2 was not considering all the edge cases in its initial stages which triggered a chain of issues at the later stages but I'm sure C-3 will be succeeding this as the scientists have taken good amount of time for considering & testing all, possible, edge cases for all the stages.
