      idk exactly but my school bought them so it cant be that expensive, works rlly well

    is it normal for the ph to keep climbing after the timer clock has stopped??

      Hi! There can be a few reasons why an electrode won't stabilize. First thing you want to do is try stirring the sample while taking a reading. If this doesn't stabilize the reading, your electrode could be having issues due to improper storage. The glass on pH electrodes is very delicate, and they require storage solution to stay hydrated. Use DI water to rinse between calibration buffers and samples, and use a cleaning solution every few weeks. When you use a cleaning solution, let the electrode sit in it for about 15-20 minutes. Then let it sit in storage solution overnight.

    these things are hard work mine says 4 7 10 ,how do i get rid of the 4 and 10 to calibrate to 7.1 ,instructions are useless

      Hi jr. Many times we find users working in industries that require the utmost accuracy. Simple testers like this one do tend to need calibration more often than more advanced meters, but if you arent overly concerned about accuracy to the hundreths, calibrating once a week should be fine or whenever you notice erratic readings.
