SEE ‘s link ability is wonky af, why can’t he link when there are still 2 characters on the field ? Maybe Jabba can’t be targeted when the tank is still alive so SEE ‘s link counted 1 target only
I’ll probably get bane in a couple more conquests. As someone who doesn’t have SEE and doesn’t have a home for Darth Vader, is that a possibility?

TLDR: Bane is too much fun to waste on SEE
OK, so I've only got my Bane to r5 so far and only got the zeta on The Rule of Two ... more zetas, omicron (singular) and relic levels obviously needed.
But I thought, what the hell? I modded him properly for this GAC, let's give a whirl.
A Phoenix team, not desperately high relic levels apart from CRex, let's see what Bane can do with Talon as his apprentice.
Answer: lols, so many lols, so much regret in not recording it though!
He one shot everybody bar CRex -- who at first I thought might be a hold-out, but continual max health syphon, meant: nah, not so much.
Wasted a doubt cron! as neither Bane nor Talon ever lost all their protection.
So. Much. Fun.

Bane talon worked for me. Talon ability block really helps till bane gets going
Update: can time out depending on how it plays, got to keep moving quickly. Might need some potency on bane for healing immunity?

I managed to beat Leia with r9 Bane (13k offence) and r8 dooku, Dooku dies and bane gains 170% offence (and +30% more from lead), 125% crit damage and potency as well as 45% health/protection and 45 speed and can just one shot almost anything. I won't say it's a super high win rate but it does well enough that in GAC maybe it could be, and using a doubtcron makes it slightly easier.
Also absolutely crushes LV teams (even with Reva and doubtcron). Jabba also goes down if he Doesn't have the ideal lvl 6 cron but in GAC or without hutt cartel crons that should be way easier.
Problem with Bane vs Leia is that ambushed is a lose condition and that if you do sp2 too often Leia basic will dispel the buffs and reduce your speed (-20 per bane sp2 > Leia basic) and eventually she just laps you enough to work Bane down efficiently (maybe you can avoid this if you track Leia cooldowns and only use sp2 when she has both abilities available.
Save SP1 for when Dooku dies then use it and it will be deadly.
Only use Sp2 if you don't have sp1 and multiple characters are low enough for it to kill them, otherwise basic them to death.
If she is above 50% health use sp1 preferentially to basic and below 50% just use basic unless she is about to ult in which case sp1 for the healing immunity in GAC you could probably also use sp2 due to TM manipulation making it safer.

Like you said, I hope he's better in GAC, because I've been underwhelmed by him in arena. Granted, I don't have LV, so just been using SEE. Basically, I've gotten it down to timing out 1v1 SEE vs Jabba, and mixed bag success vs Leia depending on comp, and got smoked vs Reva
The others, is understandable, but HOW did you lose to Reva??? The only way to lose Reva is by intentionally misplay cause Bane's Rule of 2 literally counters everything that she does.
@@vashythewabbit8288 Still learning it I guess? Bane just got taken out quickly w/ 7s assists. SEE was pretty well whooped too. I wasn't just trying to link them and Ult asap, so I held the ult to build more mastery.
@@_Cleck_ no, when you fight Reva and other GLs, you ALWAYS go for ultimate for SEE when you have the chance. That was the entire point of Bane’s kit. You build up more mastery later after you link again

@@vashythewabbit8288 I'm gonna have to keep playing with it. Maybe I just don't have enough health, but I'm just not having success, so I'll wait to see how he does in GAC before making any changes. I thought his kit (aside from the max health stuff) was built around damage/crit damage, so I went CD set w/ health primaries and a CD triangle. Still getting my ass handed to me every which way in arena. Hopefully GAC is different w/ the omicrons in play. I did swap to a full health/defense set and didn't experience anything different, so I swapped back

Nope, CG is saying that's by design.
@@Xaereth That’s crazy, they’ll likely makes his Rule Of 2 only work if there is A GL Sith ally to nerf him a little and still make him viable with SEE again. I’d rather use him with SEE personally

Nope

@@Dbad101 IIRC, it should be after next conquest cycle (3 months)
The only way you can get it now is on the conquest scavengers and the crates will give up to 30 shards of the previous unit

Disappointed so far. Basically just Wat with some damage. Hope he is a beast in GAC, but I hate the trend toward making characters only great in one mode.
Being as good as Wat in TW is still a win, OP only with omi is just the way it is
He's far better than WAT in TW. Additionally, this leaves WAT to SLKR or Trench if you're insane
