Great lesson - your pronunciation is very easy to follow. It might be helpful if you also included a written version of the vocabulary in the show notes. That would make it easier to study on the go.
Thank you for watching and your suggestion. I will try to do the notes if you can manage my time better.

Do we say Co as Go? I hear it that way.
It's unaspirated, so it is "Ko," but the 'k' sound is slightly swallowed. It's not "Go."

It seems that Vietnamese is a cross between chinese, Tagalog and another language. Cause Tagalog as well as spanish have similar sounds, but Tagalog has the ng which is like the spanish ñ
Of course my assessment is not 100% facts. So, nobody should follow what I say here too closely. I am just comparing how chinese has several tones and how Tagalog uses the ng in their words. Perhaps another language does too.
I would like to learn enough Vietnamese to impress a girl I know, but she is a bit older than I am. Her English isn't very good, but my Vietnamese is worse than her English.
Yes, I guess you're right at some points. I've not listened to Tagalog before but I guess languages in South East Asia countries have a lot commons in pronunciation and grammar. I need to learn Thai cos I am living in Thailand now and I see a lot of familiarities between Thai and Vietnamese. About Chinese, I see that we-Vietnamese catch up with Chinese pronunciation (except the fourth tone in Chinese) and grammar pretty fast. And, good luck. The girl you like will be sure impressed and appreciated by your effort in learning her language. Happy holiday
@@vietnamesewithhue7306 happy holidays to you as well.
Rất hay em 🙏 cảm ơn
Excellent video. Perhaps you can make some videos on how to pronounce written Vietnamese. Start with the alphabet, moving on to some special combinations of alphabets, moving on to simple commonly used words, and then moving on to simple sentences. Do point out the necessary differences between the Northern and Southern dialects since you know both. With Vietnamese, pronounciation is the hardest part; do pronounce the Vietnamese multiple times for us starting with slow speed. Thank you for teaching us Vietnamese.
