- Welcome to my newest build series! I finally acquired this '72 C-10 that I've been trying to get for the last 5-6 years, and today we start tearing her down so that we can build her back up. Will it Start? Will it Run? Well yeah...eventually.

Wohoo! I'm back with another project! I know, I know, I should have spent this time and money on the Impala...but the Impala won't haul a trailer or engines/motorcycles as well as this will!
Just finding your channel (I'm a huge fan of C10 trucks). Had to laugh at "diddley doo" and "schmutzy things". Reminded me of work with my grandfather on his 73 Dodge Polara when I was a teen.
Really like the color in this truck.

What a sense of gratification to get that grime cleaned off right??!! Oh, and man I love those rolling cribs!!!!

Thanks, Aaron! Next video has a lot more grime removal, and it is very gratifying for sure. I swear though, I've probably spent more time cleaning this truck than fixing it.

Shop truck might look good in bedliner, pretty cheap to do.

I'm not a fan of the bedliner, I think it looks 'cheap.' Having had a few patina vehicles, they generally turn more heads than fully restored versions, so I'm gonna keep this truck in the patina style. Besides, while the body isn't terrible, it would still need more work than I'm willing to put in before I could paint/bedline it and get a good result.
What happened to the Datsun pick up
It is still around. It's in my home garage, waiting for me to finish replacing floorpans and fabricate new cab mounts. It will move along pretty quick after that...I just need to get motivated to do the work. I should have some time in October to get that done, so I can get videos rolling again.
What happened to the 1964 Impala LTD
The Impala is still next to the garage. It needs a little more time, money, and space than I have right now. I'm hoping that July/August 2022 I will have my stuff together enough to get started with the build.
