I personally think Hemant kumar's voice has a depth and because of this I love his songs. As far Lata's voice, she is superb. In fact yesteryear songs are memorable due to meaning, music and understanding of singers.
What is lacking in Lata ji voice is lack of vibration . I haven't heard a great singer without vibration . Lataji is an exception .
