I got a b16a2. When the engine is in operating temperature, the following thing happens if I shut off the car and crank it again (let's say when I park to wait for someone, like 5-10 minutes: 1) goes to 1500 on the crank 2) falls to 1000-1100 for 3 seconds or so after the car starts working 3) drop to 500 and a small tremble happens as if it's going to stall 4) goes up to 900 and sticks still, where it runs smooth as silk. What is this? The car is bone stock, runs and accelerates fine, engine is in pristine condition. What might it be? We have cleaned and checked everything. Thanks a lot in advance, liked and subbed!
Have you ever tried swapping other ECU exactly like the one installed currently in the car? If you have a friend that has the same and is working perfectly fine, then try using their ECU and see what happens. Most of the time the capacitor is at fault in Honda ECUs because of age, according to my research. If the problem still persists maybe one of the sensors has faults. Check the following sensors: ECT and IAT. Those sensors are responsible for adjusting the idle based on temperature.
Check your ground points and see if they are clean. Next, is to check the battery terminals see if they are tight and free from corrosion. Also check the fuse for corrosion, it may affect the ecu.
@@jgutierrez4472 thanks a lot for your replies bro! By the way, this happens only when the car is in normal working temperature, it doesnt happen when it starts on a cold start. Also, i forgot to say that its a B16A2 swap, the previous engine was a D16Z6 and i am using the d16z6 obd1 ecu, because i wanted to avoid all the electric-fkmylife "cut here and match here" things. So, the problem might be electric as well (besides mechanical). Will have the car checked by the electrotechnician and see what he is going to tell me. Also, for some reason the idle rpm went to 900 up from 750 or so, without obvious reason. Dunno whats going on. The car runs strong though
@@NikosKalantasTouKabourdirhTouK maybe the wiring harness is doing funny things bro. I thought your car came up with the motor from the factory. It may be the cause of problem, definitely you should consult an electrician for that matter or someone with great knowledge about swaps.
Also, if the ecu is from stock d16z6 it wouldn't run the engine properly because there some components of the b16a engine that cannot be run by a stock d16 ecu. Unless your ecu is a reprogrammed P06, P08, P27, or P30.

Meron ako sir na spare from sound set up ng tricycle. Pero nakakabili niyan sir sa Lazada, Shoppee, or Car Audio Stores. Pwede siyang bilihin as kit, Car Amplifier Wiring Kit. May kasama nga lang na audio Jacks. Tapos pwede ding isa isa need mo ng inline fuse circuit breaker (80amps) tapos kung anong gauge ng wire ang kasya dun sa fuse holder.

Sir dalawa kasi yung sensor for position. First, eh nasa loob ng distributor yung CKP sensor. Next is yung nasa may timing belt malapit sa crank yung CKF sensor. Not a certified mechanic ako sir pero ayan yung pagkakaalam ko. Better kung mag consult ka sa experts.
No it is not the correct voltage. Voltage should be at postive 0.48V to 0.50V. Maybe the probes of your meter are swapped when testing. Calibration needed.
Maybe tps is broken that is why value is at 0.55V. Try swapping a good tps and see if value the same. If the value is still the same, I suspect that throttle stop screw is adjusted

Ahhh. Baka hindi tama idle adjustment procedure mo sir kaya baka sobrang taas. Yung bypass sir usually may parang idle up solenoid yan na pang toyota nakakabit sa intake manifold.
Sir ganito problem ng sakin, nag stick sya sa 1500 rpm pag mag clutch ka pag driving, saka lang sya bababa pag naka full stop kana, and pag nag gas ka kahit sobrang liit na tapak lang kusa sya aakyat ng 1500 ulit, na calibrate kona yung tps pero ganun padin sya
Check mo sir yung Idle Air Control Valve, Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor, Intake Air Temperature sensor, Engine Coolant temperature sensor, Vaccum leaks.
Hindi ako sure sir, madami kasi factors kung bakit ganan. Pero mostly kasi sa IACV or kung hindi naman sa compressor siya may problema. Maari ding may vaccum leaks yung engine mo sir. Recommend ko sir try mo muna pa check yung auto sa trusted mechanic para sure tayo kung ano problema ng auto natin sir.

Okay sir, kung sa tingin mo naman ay walang problem sa a/c system mo baka sa box na may problema yan. Baka hindi ma sense nung box na need na mag idle up pag nag a/c. Try mo sir mag testing ng ibang box kung may mahihiraman ka. Kasi na palitan na bago lahat ng sensor na may kinalaman sa idle. Sabi mo naman sir wala naman problem a/c mo. So next na ay yung sa box.
Ask ko lang sir, gi calibrate ko yung tps ko ang pinakamababa na nakukuha ko is .60 lang tlga sir. Paano yun sir kahit anong galaw ko wala eih. Di bumababa sa .60
Na galaw sir yung throttle stop screw or pwedeng sira na si TPS. Kung meron mahiraman ng proper working tps at same reading nagalaw si throttle stop screw.
Sir, hindi po ako qualified mechanic. Pero pa replace mo tps if no response from throttle. Or kung electronic na yung accelerator mo sirm malamang throttle body na yan. Punta ka sa trusted mechanic mo para ma scan or ma check yung throttle body.

Pero normal naman siya sir pag ginagamit? Na check mo ba yung range nung tester sir kung tama? Kung di normal sir kapag nag rev ka, baka sira TPS mo sir.
For drive by wire systems sir, i.e. non cable systems. No need na mag calibrate sir automatic na siya. Kung nagluluko ang throttle sir malamang need na replace yung unit. Either yung sensor sa accelerator pedal or yung solenoid sa throttle body yung may problem.

Ginawa ko adjustment mo about tps. Nagawa ko naman. Ang kaibahan Lang ng saken pag nag clutch ako. 1200rpm minsan 1100rpm ko. Pag full stop bbalik na 900 minsan nga 1k rpm w/o ac. @@biggame510 Sir marami kasi possible na reason kung bakit naangat idle mo kapag nag clutch. Sakin kasi yung tps ko mali adjustment, try mo i check mga vaccum lines kung walang mga leaks. Bago ba yung IACV mo sir? Kung luma nalinis mo na ba siya? Try mk din linisin yung throttle body. Remove mo na lang mga sesnsors para di masira, then use carb cleaner para matanggal mga build up.

Pwede sir pero. Merong pang ibang factors. Baka faulty sir yung ECT or yung IAT.

Pwede sir kung nasa cold climate ka talaga. Yung sa TPS naman sir dun sa socket niya may 3 na slots dun sa middle slot i probe ang tester.

Kung merong kang mahihiraman ng ibang ecu try mo yung sa kanila, pag umayos sir ecu mo may problem.Yung mga sinabi ko sir is based sa kung sino ba ang may control sa injectors which is ecu. Di ako qualified na mechanic sir, better kung madala mo siya sa trusted na mechanic mo. Sana ma resolve yung issue ASAP. God speed.

Mataas sir idle mo at 1500rpm normally nasa 900-1000 rpm lang ang idle pag naka on ang a/c.

Check mo sir yung Idle Air Control Valve, Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor, Intake Air Temperature sensor, Engine Coolant temperature sensor, Vaccum leaks.
Sir kapag naka on ang ac tapos nirev ko at binitawan na bumababa sa 500rpm den babalik uli sa 1k rpm, tps po ba problema nun?
Hindi ako sure sir, madami kasi factors kung bakit ganan. Pero mostly kasi sa IACV or kung hindi naman sa compressor siya may problema. Maari ding may vaccum leaks yung engine mo sir. Recommend ko sir try mo muna pa check yung auto sa trusted mechanic para sure tayo kung ano problema ng auto natin sir.

Maramig pwede maging dahilan sir. Typical na problem ay nasa sensors, vaccum leaks, tsaka nasa IACV or FITV.

Bago na po IACV, nilinis na throtle body. Bago na dn map sensor... Wla pa dn pong nangyari... Honda civic 96model efi engine. Matic trans po...
Sir kung laging bagsak menor pag naka a/c try mo na pa check yung a/c system mo. Baka nag high pressure siya or sira na yung compressor.

Okay sir, kung sa tingin mo naman ay walang problem sa a/c system mo baka sa box na may problema yan. Baka hindi ma sense nung box na need na mag idle up pag nag a/c. Try mo sir mag testing ng ibang box kung may mahihiraman ka. Kasi na palitan na bago lahat ng sensor na may kinalaman sa idle. Sabi mo naman sir wala naman problem a/c mo. So next na ay yung sa box.
Kapag hindi nakuha sa box sir. Try naman sa wirings baka nandun yun problem.

For drive by wire systems sir, i.e. non cable systems. No need na mag calibrate sir automatic na siya. Kung nagluluko ang throttle sir malamang need na replace yung unit. Either yung sensor sa accelerator pedal or yung solenoid sa throttle body yung may problem.

You should check your idle air control valve. Maybe it is dirty or faulty.
Also check your temperature sensors like the Intake Air Temperature sensor and the ECT sensor it is also responsible for setting up your idle.

Ang kaibahan Lang ng saken pag nag clutch ako. 1200rpm minsan 1100rpm ko. Pag full stop bbalik na 900 minsan nga 1k rpm w/o ac. Ano pa kaya pwede ko gawin para pag nag clutch ako mababa menor. .

@@biggame510 Sir marami kasi possible na reason kung bakit naangat idle mo kapag nag clutch. Sakin kasi yung tps ko mali adjustment, try mo i check mga vaccum lines kung walang mga leaks. Bago ba yung IACV mo sir? Kung luma nalinis mo na ba siya? Try mk din linisin yung throttle body. Remove mo na lang mga sesnsors para di masira, then use carb cleaner para matanggal mga build up.
