just a tip from an old machinist, knock the cutting edge down on ur bench grinder to kind of flatten the leading edge when drill Brass, copper or cast iron. that stuff is really grabby material. you will have to resharpen it of course when done....

Is there room that you could’ve raise the position of the alternator slightly and used a stock length belt?

for brass turn bit fast and feed in slow and it will drill like butter and lower pitch drill bits work best.

Just a heads ups, the top front of the engine should be the hottest point. The thermostat is the last stop before entering the radiator. The only exception is system like the mod motor fords, which have poor flow to the rear of the heads.

sumtimes it helps run the drilbit in reverse , bit hard to do in a drillpress though
about the feedline to the turbo : usually they put a restrictor in the line , the turbo only needs verry little pressure and flow or it will push out the seals and smoke like crazy

Did you need a MAP sensor to make the transmission happy?

I'm installing 2008 5r110&transfer case into a 2wd dodge reg cab. what wires will I need to plug into my dodge? What about 4lo electronic transfer wires? speedo, oil pressure, h2o, will I need Ford ECM (brain) or Trans control module?

I'd like to send you a picture of the 12v I built in my garage do you have somewhere a guy could send tgat. I did 4k springs, 50 horse injectors, and a fleece coolant bypass. I would highly recommend some kind of a coolant bypass. A cracked block from high pressure in the back of the block was the reason for my build.

Yeah, still a long way off from that though.

If you knock off the sharp cutting edge of a twist drill, just a little bit, it won't be so aggressive and is much less likely to grab in brass.

    I have the actual bracket for a 6.4 alt on a 12 valve that I didn’t use

spin your drill bits A LOT slower. They will last longer and it's safer.

    NICE!
Does the adaptor for the H2o Temp sensor push it out of the natural water flow?
    It looks long.

Yes, it actually fits the same as the stock Cummins H20 sensor.

I dont think this guy is qualified to run a tape measure safely. Let alone power tools... Where is his wife? She should be babysitting more closely.
