I still believe that when FNAF4 released it was SUPPOSED to be a dream, but so much of the community felt it was an unsatisfying narrative that it compelled him to make Sister Location (and THAT was, imo, the one retcon Scott claims to have made)
scott said he did one retcon and it was UNNOTEED by anyone, I doubt the change from dreams to experiments would be an unnoticed thing, + fnaf 4 itself disproves dream theories xD
Sorry, but but this theory doesn't entirely hold up because you seem to have missed the fact that Mike clearly drew Nightmare Fredbear in the Logbook *before* it got auctioned off. There's literally a sticky note saying "someone already wrote in *this one* ", showing that whoever is giving this logbook away is giving away other, untouched copies of the same book as well, and considering Fazbear's Fright itself never got to open and sell them as merch, the only other logical source for all of these books to be coming from would indeed be the auction. Furthermore, the fact that it was in the auction *at all* means that it was still in the attraction when it burned down, meaning that every single thing Mike wrote or drew in that book was already there *before* the auction, otherwise the sticky note wouldn't be there. Did you perhaps forget the sticky note and assume that Mike only ever got the Logbook for the first time *after* the auction? If so, it's an entirely excusable mistake (especially in a series with so many details), but you gotta be a bit more thorough going forward. At the *absolute* latest, it's possible that FNaF 4 could be happening concurrently with FNaF 3, but *after* is 100% impossible, and frankly it seems far more likely that FNaF 4 takes place immediately *before* Mike becomes the guard for Fazbear's Fright. Not only would Nightmare Fredbear's appearance be fresh in his memory to draw in excruciating detail like that, but Mike DID have at least one shift as the Fright Guard before FNaF 3 began proper, which is basically the only window of opportunity he has to both obtain the book in the first place and fill it out in peace before his attention is occupied by other things like Ralph's old tapes and, of course, Springtrap. As for whether FNaF 4 a dream or an experiment, or who might be the cause of it, I'm still not sure, and to be honest you could indeed be onto something with the whole "Mike brought something home" thing, but at the very least I had to correct your mistake regarding the order of events, because I am absolutely certain that an event that I'm confident happened *before* the Fazbear's Fright auction could not have been caused by buying something from said auction and bringing it home after the fact. Instead, is it possible that Mike took something from either the FNaF 1 location or the SL bunker?
I think you have a small misconception, Mike got the logbook after FNaF 3, not during FNaF 3. He would've gotten this during the Auction. The only reason Mike would have it beforehand is if he was the Guard, which I highly doubt. But even then; it wouldn't be a concern, since there's no timeframe for when he got the logbook, when he drew the stuff, and when he threw it away. (The Stickynote refers to Mike as the previous owner, with you the reader being the "new owner") Which implies that FF was selling all their memorabilia and merch they had. Beyond that, I fail to see anything that says it happens during or before FNaF 3, the Logbook is a auction item he gained after the fact, and its reference to "recent" dreams makes it recent to after FnaF 3. Thanks for the comment and feedback though, Just be wary; you're assuming MikeGuard, which isn't a given. Characters like Hudson are directly shown to be the Guard in Frights and if not that, there's evidence for Henry aswell (which I believe) There's several viable options, and I basically did this video with none of them in mind. If I misunderstood something feel free to clarify! The logbook in this case is just one of the many items Mike bought as Merch during the Auction. Thanks for your comment again!
@@Drazarus The commenter made it pretty clear that, Mike most definitely got the logbook before FNAF 3. Mike was indeed a guard in FNAF 3 before his "first" night that we see in the game, quoting phonedude: "Hey hey, glad you *came back for another night!* " which means, that there's an undefined timeframe between Mike's REAL first night, and the night before Springtrap. The fact that stickynote is refering to Mike as the previous owner, and logbook is most likely being sold on the auction from the end of FNAF 3, means that Mike probably wrote in it before the auction, so I don't see any logic in your statements. Speaking of MikeGuard - its not given, but it is the most likely and fitting option. Hudson is a really obvious stand-in for Michael. beginning from his childhood trauma of bullies putting his head in the toilet, which is an obvious Bite of 83 reference and ending with Springtrap in WWF speaking with the voice of his stepdad. And guess what? in the games Springtrap in the games has Micheal's father inside, and talks with his voice. Well, Springtrap doesn't talk because of Scott's inability to hire voiceactors until SL, but Scraptrap does, and that's the same character basically. So, Hudson is probably the least likely candidate. Henry is plausible, but simply because there's nothing neither denying the fact that he could be a nightguard there, nor anything proving that he could be a nightguard there. MikeGuard has evidence that makes cents, hell, would even say dollars.
@@Drazarus Ohhh, now I see what the issue is. It's that you're the last person on the planet who still believes that Mike somehow *isn't* the Fright Guard. Well congrats, because I mean that literally. Thanks to this conversation, you just helped to finally PROVE that Mike is the Fright Guard beyond a shadow of a doubt, meaning that starting now, nobody after you will believe that he isn't. Think about it, that sticky note was absolutely placed within that book by whoever is running the auction. The note says that "someone already wrote in THIS ONE", showing that this particular copy of the book is not the only copy that the note's writer is distributing, and the only two sources that would be distributing multiple copies of the book would be Fazbear's Fright themselves (which is basically debunked since they never got the chance to open to the public before the fire) or the auction (which is probably being run by Fazbear Entertainment since the OTHER sticky note in the book says to keep quiet about spring locks). Either way, it makes zero sense for the sticky notes to be added to the book at any point AFTER the auction. It's not like Mike is the one who wrote them (not only does the ink color not match, but why would he own multiple copies of the book to mention in the first note?) and furthermore, how would the book even get from Mike's possession to ours (the reader) if not via the Fazbear's Fright auction? Based on the note, we're clearly receiving it from someone who has multiple other, non-written-in copies, and if another party went through the trouble to somehow gather up every copy of the book in one place post-auction, they wouldn't proceed to then just give one away to some rando like us. So unless Mike bought EVERY copy of the book from the Fright auction, wrote in one, gave ALL of them to someone else who wants to hide the existence of Spring Locks, and then THAT person wrote the sticky notes and gave the copy Mike wrote in to us (the reader), your suggested scenario becomes impossible. Otherwise, the only remaining option (and the one that was most logical from the start) is that the notes were added to the book during the auction, which if true would definitively prove once and for all that Mike is, without a doubt, the Fright Guard because being the Fright Guard is the ONLY way he could have obtained a copy of that book before the auction. (unless you wanna argue that Mike was Phone Dude the whole time, despite them having completely different voices) TLDR: The sticky notes were clearly added during the auction, meaning Mike wrote in the logbook before then, and should thus (finally) be confirmed as Fright Guard because there's no other way he should have access to the book pre-auction.
@@chararaltacc Again, most of this is contingent on MikeGuard; which I don't believe. I also don't see the Hudson parallels I'll reply again with something my friend said some time ago that may more clearly explain! Thanks for the comment though!
@@chararaltacc What does all this mean? Well, considering the FNaF3 office is something only the workers and owners got to see, the most likely explanation for why it'd be in an employee guidebook would be that FF created, and sold a fake FFP guidebook as a souvenir. Possibly, even sold after their public auction..... The gist is that Fazbear's Fright created this book as a pseudo guidebook for nightguards, using info that they, themselves learned about Fazbear Entertainment through research. Maybe for the nightguard who's apart of the attraction.... It's possible the books were even for the visitors of the attraction. This is an attraction that's apart of an amusement park, so they have money to do all this.... Speaking of sticky notes, there's also one next to Mike's name, saying "Someone's written in this book". If this book was written in by Mike after 3, then that leaves this sticky note being for us. This is the first real page of the guidebook, and we are reading through Michael's book that we found And yes, that means Mike's references to SL still count here. And so do FNaF4's "recent dreams". Michael is writing in a Fazbear's Fright souvenir during his "living in the shadows" downtime.
Everything in this theory might be fine except for the fact that the Michael clearly fills out the logbook during prior to Fazbear’s Fright burning down so fnaf4 has to happen prior to/during fnaf3. The only company that would print something like this is Fazbear’s Fright. - Michael is clearly the one and only owner of the logbook given the specific SL references only he could’ve drawn. There is no other writing from other owners. - The sticky notes are from Fazbear’s Fright management; made obvious by the sticky note on the springlocks page. And someone from Frights management got the logbook back from Michael after he finished filling it out in order to place the “you don’t mind” sticky note on it. - Fazbear’s Fright clearly intended to properly pass on the used logbook to someone given the care they put into the sticky notes. Most likely to save money and most likely they were passing it on to the next nightguard after Michael. - There is no reason to bother with the sticky notes if the item is being auctioned off- especially mo reason to write that sticky note about the springlocks. Why bother to freshen up a used logbook when it’s being auctioned off? Given Frights burned down its most likely they went bankrupt they would have no reason to care to write such notes. - Finally after companies go bankrupt, the auctions are generally held by third parties that have no relation to the company. These third parties have even less reason to tamper with the assets of another company they’re auctioning so they aren’t the ones to add such sticky notes. Therefore it is impossible for Michael to have filled out the logbook after Frights burned down. He filled out the book while working at Frights as a guard not after buying it from the auction.
The Stickynotes are just normal parts of the book, they're built in. Every logbook in universe would have em. As implied by the springlock stickynote. Its apart of the "security guard theme" you get the book after the last guard died.
