I hate how Judy treats poor Sam in this. Though I don’t think Sam had a crush, she probably saw Judy as a mother figure, more motherly than she has experienced with anyone else in her life.
I've never understood why people like Judy she's always ditching her friends for girls she fancies and never has the balls to apologise afterwards, she's instantly forgiven. She moans about every single top dog about how they handle things and is a complete coward, when it comes to fighting she's happy to fight smaller women or 5v1 someone but when it's a fair fight she squeels pacemaker. She's the Biggest coward in the series. She asked Myra to be top dog and made it very difficult for her once she did step up. Judys a fool and a shit friend and over all about as dumb as Doreen.

The problem is Myra was basically the original Judy without a pacemaker. And the first rule of TV writing is don't have two duplicate characters, so Judy became a "no violence" prisoner, and a total wuss compared to what she once was.. Check her out when she first came in, she was very tough.
the girl has great pipes reminds me of my first time hearing janis joplin, she has the blues and that raspy flow. gave me shivers. reminds me of when they had b/w shows about prison sometime and a guy was there on a harmonica telling how hard life is
Myra truly is a class act, no two ways about it. The way she took down Lou and that other halfwit in the cell was awesome. I think Lou and Frank would make an ideal couple because they are so much alike in many ways. Judy acts tough when telling Sam she can look after herself but that is not really the case, after all she is nowhere near as strong as she used to be in the early years.
