I'm actually embarrassed we charge 150 pounds.. firstly 150 is nothing to the club and the experience would have meant everything to the kid. Also I'm ashamed because not to long ago we was giving the club donations so our club would survive... very scummy if you ask me. He not has next to no chance
Why should a family with money have more of a right than a family with limited income. Because you can afford to pay for a child to be a mascot doesn’t mean you are more of a fan than a family who can’t afford to do that. I like the fact that it’s a ballot system because it makes it a level paying field for all fans. Football is not a elitist sport it’s a working man’s game and open to everyone from all social backgrounds and that’s what makes football great is the inclusiveness!
