A barber mantis may seem silly but it's actually completely lore accurate, the explorer notes emphasize the intelligence of the mantis, that plus their little hands (that for whatever reason they just chose to barely model) are why they can use tools. They're one of my favourite creatures, giving them deathworm horns feels liks you're proving your strength and convincing them to join you rather than feeding them kibble, and they're just satisfying to move around on, really nice walking animation. But the best thing about them is that they're the only creature in the game that you can hold down left click to attack on instead of mashing yourself into carpal tunnel
Just an FYI for Syntac: I truly don’t mind you putting ads in your videos. You have never gone overboard with it and you always do them in a way that makes me laugh. I’m glad you’ve got some great sponsors as I’m not personally able to financially support you at this point in time. I’m poor. Lol! 🤣 I just know you’ve said in the past that you worry about going overboard with sponsors but you don’t need to worry. Even if you had one ad a video, that’d be perfectly fine in my book. Hey syntac, the only solution for the problem you’re facing is probebly spawning an oasisaur in for every tribemember. You could still force everyone to atleast tame one out of the tribe and that they then get one when they join again. It does feel cheaty but we did it because it is the only way to let everyone enjoy it on pve. Love the vids btw 😁
You can put your oasisaur in the obelisk terminal and take it out once you tame another oasisaur. This way, you can have multiple of them at the same time

For a super easy oasisaur tame, put a paracer with a platform saddle on its back, place a heavy turret with a generator and around 500 bullets to be safe, set it to not target the oasisaur and start the taming. You can literally wait AFK until it tames up

The red and white street lamps were a great idea but look a bit odd. Maybe just one of the wall light fixtures attached to one of the pillars by the porch stairs could be painted in that way?
Here's a thought, though I'm not sure if a lot of painted canvases create additional frames (I play on strictly singleplayer...), but what if you were to take a camera and take a picture of the mirrors and paint the cameras using the paint to make it look like a mirror...? 37:20 instead of mirrors use a painting and then use the bobs dlc skin to change it to have a picture frame, you could even then draw in like a stick figure to signify the reflection lol
one thing you also should keep in mind with the oasisaurs, they take up 60 slots of your tame limit. so you might have to raise that. they don't go into cryopods. but mods like dino depot make it possible to pick them up. i am not sure about the wild spawn limit but its not just one. i seen two on the map the same time already. and about what we get for ab, i don't think it will be even remotely as interesting. the oasisaur is an eyecatcher, its purpose is getting people to buy the tall tales dlc. mantis are cool. but i think i would prefer if you can toggle the equipped weapon to be turned invisible. it looks weird, they hold them with their ellbows, basically...

You can't re-join with multiple Oasisaurs, but you can spawn them in to have more than one. In my tribe, we left, tamed one then we admin killed the one we just tamed and spawned in a replacement once they had rejoined. Unfortunately the only way
Hey, so had a thought for a "Fake Mirror". Use a camera, take a picture facing the other wall, then put it on a canvas with one of the Frontier skins frames. It wont be 'one to one' but it could work and such.
i have a suggestion... Place a glass wall at the front not on the side, barbers usually don't have windows next to mirrors etc... As for mirrors, I would make another wall that would cover the actuall wall, use some glass walls as mirrors, paint them dark and frame them with thin pillars, use one 1/4 wall between them.
something cool you might not know about display cases is you can put cryopodded dinos into them and itll display the creature. The cryopod timer also does not drop while in display
Maybe you can paint a mirror onto 2 canvases snapped one on top of the other. You could do the frame like the real mirror or be more flexible. Since it doesn't reflect well anyway, you can leve the middle black with some gloss lines to make it look reflective.

Cactus broth is really cheap to make and so good for water - fills up your meter and reduces water consumption for 10m. As soon as I could make it i immediately stopped using canteens lol
instead of the mirror you could (once you have a camera) take a photo from the point where the mirror WOULD be and put it on a painting, then you have a cheap imitation mirror AND you can put a frame on it
we tamed two of those on our nitrado server, and we don't know of any setting affecting the oasisaur - we do have the one where you can keep feeding the titanosaur

I wish I could put turrets on platforms. The option to enable it doesn't work since they added scorched

You can move the tumbleweeds by starting to place a building and use the green placement tool thing to push it.
