Ha funny..had something like happen over at forza in my Spazcar stock cars series...although didn't sit that unrealistcally long on the other car. Funny to watch though. Thanks for taking the time post :)
@2BCBattlefield what are you talking about? cars don't handle like they should in GT5. I upgraded a mini cooper with a racing exhaust and lowered it and all of a sudden it doesn't even handle like a FWD anymore. It drives around like its on rails.
@chrisreadman909090 Its because the speed it taken from the velocity of the car on the track, it does not get the speed from the trans or wheels like in a few PC sims or in real life. i wish that they would start getting the speed from the wheels or trans.
This is completely realistic! The same thing happened to me just the other day on the way home from work. A Kia Sorento tagged me from behind, and the next thing you know, my Civic Si sitting laterally on top of a 1997 Taurus.
@patrickcq That's why if you see any review that says "there's no damage model at all" then you know that the reviewer didn't play the game to anywhere near completion, otherwise it would have unlocked.
@37kazzmark yessir i think so maybe since they have real-time weight transfer and the actual weight of the cars matter... it looked even as if the suspension compressed.. that lambo has no towing capacity..
@patrickcq I'm not there yet, but there's a level-up system where as you progress through the game more things unlock. At level 20 you get some damage, by the time you get to level 40 you have what they call "realistic" damage. I think it was so that noobs' cars don't get pwned :D I heard that they're thinking of adding a damage early unlock option in a future update
@chrismcam2 I like the leveling being tough, I just think that damage should never have been connected to level in the first place. If you watch a lot of the video reviews, the reviewers are showing the lack of damage at level six though... which means that they obviously hadn't put any time into the game
Yeah, That's Real. It happens all the time when people are racing! The GT-R just needed to save some gas, and wanted to see if the lambo would make a good tow truck. That's all.
@cantorock Sony has released a statement saying that damage is not unlocked. It's there from the begining. They will release a patch with mechanical damage early december.
@Redcaster916 Did you see the video where a guy on Flying Diaper 3 drives a nissan 400 kmh in reverse? Yeah both got their share of bugs, but the ones on GT5 are less game breaking. This game is pretty much the definitive racer of the gen, Flopza is more suited as a flight simulator trainer
IM gona do my Walter impersonation hehehe " BET YOU CANT FREAKIN DO IT AGAIN!!!" AHAHAHAHAHAHAH thats some freaky sht ... but seriuosly i was amazed on how the lambo reacted to having a car on top ( never thought i´ed be saying this when i got up today :s) they way it kept slowing down on acount of the weight ...
I dont really see whats so unrealistic about this, I mean, the lambo slowed down considerably, and if the car ever did get into such a position it easily could stay on the roof. It wasnt exactly frozen still, it was wobbling like crazy.
Yeah yeah, everyone knows Gt5's physics go to shit when the tires leave the road.. Hell, Gran Turismo was practically glued to the ground till' Gt5! but, LOLOOLOOOLOL!!! This is awesome!!!! One in a million there!
Ok, what am i doing wrong. None of my replays allow me to change cameras and angles. I've NEVER seen the interior shot of the driver. My controller only has so many buttons, so what's wrong with my GT5?
you would think the weight of the car would slow down the Lamborghini. I guess this video explains the true testement of how well made and powerful for that matter the lambo truly is. :)
32 people tried this and couldn't do it... Lol the Lambo's suspension is getting so compressed, this is one of my favorite things in GT5. cars are actually weighted, they are actually heavy and it obviously affects the cars that get more weight, imagine a tank car on a Civic...
How you like them physics? Love how the lamb starts to slow down and the suspension gets compressed. Best physics in a driving sim to date.
@Agit0X
Correct. No soaking through into the car, nor ground.
Maybe the roof should of bent ? Or maybe it should just of floated in thin air ?
Ha funny..had something like happen over at forza in my Spazcar stock cars series...although didn't sit that unrealistcally long on the other car. Funny to watch though. Thanks for taking the time post :)
Them Crooked Vultures added to this video for me. Really seems to fit the moment lol.
I love how calm the drivers are...
I laugh so much at 0:27 the "driver" is still watching the track af the right side xD
@guitarkilla
there actually is car damage but they don't unlock it at low levels since you have to pay to repair your car
This shows how the Lambo is versatile ... is a sports car, but is also a carrier
Well... That's certainly original. I don't know any other driving game that has this kind of neat feature.
The white car was like : "hmm, i need a new rear spoiler, a big one !"
@2BCBattlefield what are you talking about? cars don't handle like they should in GT5. I upgraded a mini cooper with a racing exhaust and lowered it and all of a sudden it doesn't even handle like a FWD anymore. It drives around like its on rails.
@Terjay Well, the car underneath did get a lot slower with the extra weight...
i guess when making the damage model they forgot to consider the fact that some cars may end up riding on top of other cars.
Look at that perfect weight distribution on the GTR
@chrisreadman909090 Its because the speed it taken from the velocity of the car on the track, it does not get the speed from the trans or wheels like in a few PC sims or in real life.
i wish that they would start getting the speed from the wheels or trans.

Impressive demonstration of the "autopilot".
It's only a fuel saving measure, when the lambo runs out he slams on the brakes and off comes the GTR.
It's just insane how realistic video games have become these days.
After, god knows, how many years of development, they finally achieved complete realism...
You could enter a 24h endurance race with that trick!
TCV playing in the background is a nice touch
@patrickcq That's why if you see any review that says "there's no damage model at all" then you know that the reviewer didn't play the game to anywhere near completion, otherwise it would have unlocked.
Mommy, that car is trying to get over that other car, but it can't quite make it.
good illumination..nothing else..even the shadows are super jagged.
lmao I like how the weight is applied on the Lambo thus making it slower. x)
@xSm0g i don't think its in the dealership so im thinking the used cars section or the online dealership or u can have a friend sell/trade it for u
Nicely done!!!!
Im proud of you and your gas saving car!!!! :D
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.
When a mommy GTR and a daddy lambo love each other very much ...
Funny as f**k. You should get a trophy especially made for that!
+1 to the Them Crooked Vultures song playing on the soundtrack.
this is the new tactic 4 cops to slow down the criminals
@37kazzmark yessir i think so maybe since they have real-time weight transfer and the actual weight of the cars matter... it looked even as if the suspension compressed.. that lambo has no towing capacity..
And this, my son, is where baby cars come from.
this is the coolest thing i have ever seen anybody do in Gran Turismo XD
@xtc340 That was probably in Arcade mode. You know, the 'I can do funny stuff' mode.
@patrickcq I'm not there yet, but there's a level-up system where as you progress through the game more things unlock.
At level 20 you get some damage, by the time you get to level 40 you have what they call "realistic" damage. I think it was so that noobs' cars don't get pwned :D

@Hackzoid
Need for speed Shift 2 Unleashead is no the 17th part of the NFS series, so i will see, what GT5 does (anytime after 2050)
@1337kimozabi It does have visual damage. As of today it also has mechanical damage.
15 people have had cars on their roofs.
THAT BEACHBALL IS SHAPED LIKE A PORSCHE
Who needs lowering springs when you can have your very own GTR to weigh you down!
I think hes draggin' his exhaust pipe
@chrismcam2 I like the leveling being tough, I just think that damage should never have been connected to level in the first place.
If you watch a lot of the video reviews, the reviewers are showing the lack of damage at level six though... which means that they obviously hadn't put any time into the game
Now that's what I call riding in style!
@chrismcam2 I completely agree. Lets just hope that Poly give us a lot of DLC for GT5 rather than making us wait another five years for GT6
Well it is giving that lambo all the downforce it could ever need.
now i see why it took so long to make this game...
Greatest drift in the history of man!
@DisplacedRace lol GT5 is the only "simulator" that allows you to go that fast on a 90 degree turn.
Im still playing GT4 that I bought with my PS2 Slim in 2006.
THE HITCHIKERS GUIDE TO THE FINISHLINE
i dunno what poly digital was doing all those years but thats just inexcusable albeit hilarious!.
Don't show this to perfectionist Kazunori Yamauchi or he will definitely kill himself for this mistake.
This's a BUG? LoL xD... The phisycs are too realistic xD
@Terjay
At least the car is being weighed down, meaning they're calculating the physics.. lol to an extent.
no guys it's a real simulation game, this kind of situation is quite possible in real life
@Redcaster916 Did you see the video where a guy on Flying Diaper 3 drives a nissan 400 kmh in reverse? Yeah both got their share of bugs, but the ones on GT5 are less game breaking. This game is pretty much the definitive racer of the gen, Flopza is more suited as a flight simulator trainer

Oh god please post some replay photos for epic win.
So thats where baby cars come from !
@Sepharite It's Gran Turismo, they know how to handle those kind of situations :)
lol!!! Gt-r spins jumps and lands on Gallardo!!
Congratulations! You'll Have Twins Karts!
THE REAL DRIVING SIMULATOR !!! BETTER THAN REAL !
GT5- realistic until your car starts flying through the air and lands on another car that carries on racing.
Great game though ;)
So I 've wasted 50$ and 5 years of waiting to see this......
most expensive rear wing ever
I dont really see whats so unrealistic about this, I mean, the lambo slowed down considerably, and if the car ever did get into such a position it easily could stay on the roof. It wasnt exactly frozen still, it was wobbling like crazy.
I wonder if that could get you in the carpool lane?
Black Stig never gave up
ok I bet that ruined the Gallardo's suspension setup
@Jaws21 I completely agree! I hate it when I get piggy backed on the highway!
@guitarkilla
there will be damage engine in next patch... lots of other things too...
gt5 is really good game...
1889 people are GTR drivers, and 29 people are gallardo drivers, :)
it really has been a while hasn’t it
during those years we don't need gas...
+1 for listening to Them Crooked Vultures!!
the new lamborghini tow-truck model ;))
Yeah yeah, everyone knows Gt5's physics go to shit when the tires leave the road.. Hell, Gran Turismo was practically glued to the ground till' Gt5! but, LOLOOLOOOLOL!!! This is awesome!!!! One in a million there!
Does this make the Gallardo an SUV? It's got AWD and can haul stuff after all...
fuck yea, them crooked vultures!
good job sir.
nunca mais faz isso denovo...... que comédia...... vlw pelo post!!!!
i love how he gets progressivly slower. hes like get off my ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont no if hes realised but hes goin a bit slower than normal
@ThreeDaysOfDan That lambo was FUNNY when it was carrying that Nissan GT-R!
and the crowd goes wild!!!!!
The real carrier simulator
The show must go on...
in a race, you should never pick up hitch hikers lol
Ok, what am i doing wrong. None of my replays allow me to change cameras and angles. I've NEVER seen the interior shot of the driver. My controller only has so many buttons, so what's wrong with my GT5?
@Redcaster916 ...actually gt 5 took 5 years to make and in comparison to this alan wake took 5 years to develope also and scored lower on metacritic
the mother caring for its young.
you would think the weight of the car would slow down the Lamborghini. I guess this video explains the true testement of how well made and powerful for that matter the lambo truly is. :)
that MIGHT affect the lamborghini handling somewhat
@guitarkilla
total lack? did you play the game? Cars can get pretty messed up!
32 people tried this and couldn't do it... Lol the Lambo's suspension is getting so compressed, this is one of my favorite things in GT5. cars are actually weighted, they are actually heavy and it obviously affects the cars that get more weight, imagine a tank car on a Civic...
