Only my froggy stuff can represent the similarities between the descendants and ever after high on this funny way. I prefer EAH honestly but the mold faces of the descendents it's so amazing, every doll looks completely different to the other, anyway... I love this channel. (sorry my English I'm still learning this language)

So you know how The Disney Store has the animators collection dolls that are Disney characters as toddlers (but collectible and good quality)? They should totally make Descendants versions. I would definitely buy Jay and Mal!

Stop saying that Descendants is a copy of Ever after high they worked on the movie MONTHS before ever after high even came out. The characters a original and all of the characters are originally owned by disney.

Has EAH made a movie? NO. So its not copyright. The desent dolls are from a movie. Also they are REAL people. Another differnt so basically, not a copyright and fyi, MH, EAH and desenteds, are 'kinda of copyrighted' of original so whats the whole point?

Okay I'm gonna have to shed some light on this and say it's not a copy of Ever After High. In fact if you think of it Ever After High has taken some of the most popular depictions of these fairy tales and based their characters straight of that. Disney obviously being a huge influence as when I watched it it was very much Disney like without how they have the characters. Descendants has been in the works for a while. Not as long as ever after high but still a long time. The story lines being similar is something people like to call out two but in all honesty that type of story line is something Disney coined a long time ago. Writing you're own destiny? I could list all the shows and movies Disney made before ever after high with that same plot. It's media. It's a money bag. And both companies took that to advantage. It's not a copy. It's a trope. Except that.
gabbycat44 The whole concept is copied. Visible similarities in design and storyline only add up to that. The quality of the dolls is not helping either. There is a difference between inspiration and a copy. EAH dolls were surely inspired by Disney movies, but the execution was flawless in terms of quality, originality and copyright. And now, about two years later, we're seriously getting a halfhearted "Me-too!"-product from a worldwide renowned company? Think about who's doing this. It's Disney, and for a company like that, it's an incredibly lame move. If they want to pull something like this, they should freaking do it better.
Fiorina Artworks Descendants had been put into production much longer then Ever After High. As I stated it's a cash cow. Ever After High isn't even the first idea like this. It's a copy of something else. It not being original. To compare the quality of these Hasbro brand dolls to Disney's ability to produce quality toys is no where near fair. Disney is even putting out their own line of them which I'm convinced will be far better quality for the toy collector. This is also one of the best made for tv movies Disney has released in a while. Teen Beach Movie 2 I'm looking at you. Also Disney has loved the idea of children of their characters existing. Lion King 2? The Little Mermaid 2? Both made long before ever after high. Also Disney and Hasbro have a partner ship. So if you want to call if a copy, it's a copy of what Disney already owns

They've actually been working on it longer than Ever after High, by like a month, so no it's not.

And honestly even though Ever After High is the kids of Villains and Royals, to me it seems like they are a copy of Monster High.

Bunbun18 productions The weirdest one is Audrey, who has the same skin tone as Briar Beauty. xD *facepalm* Briar got a lovely tan, which is legit, since the complexion the original fairytale characters is a free guess. But Audrey of all people, who is officially the daughter of Aurora and Philip, now is more tanned than both of her parents. xDD Coincidence? I think not. So ridiculous, did anyone think this through? They could have made a Mal or Carlos or both with darker skin, that would have been much more convincing. It's almost as if they were scared to stray away form the EAH designs and come up with something of their own.
So some are been in some shops that you buy because you have too much for christmas am i right?
