My socks 🧦 are done ✅. I was going to “try” and do Deer Designs Dock Along for 2023 so I like the idea of the using the schedule for keeping me on track.

Hi Tina Well done on finishing your gingerbread socks, I knew you would though. As to the colours of the shawl I love them and I am sure they will look good whatever order you do them in. Like you all shopping done and are now ready for the big day.

Thanks Amanda, yes Holiday shopping is not something I enjoy. I prefer to be at home knitting in the warm and comfort 😁

We have the same jumper! I did my food shopping Thursday evening, and everyone else decided to do theirs then, too! It was a nightmare, but it's all done now. Best get the presents wrapped! Love your socks, I never got started with mine, so I plan to cast mine on Christmas Day evening. I like to have a new project to start on Christmas day once all the cooking and eating has been done 😂

I’m going to knit the aurora cabin shawl-very excited! My colors are wine, dark teal, med gray, light gray slight variegated and an ice blue. I’m still dithering over color order. I liked your card idea to help with the shuffling! Thanks

Hi Tina. Love your gingerbread socks, especially with the contrast heal & toe. What a great idea to wrap them up for yourself, never thought of that. Good luck with shawl colour choices, watching how your mind works was so funny 😂😂. It was like a magic show…pick a colour,any colour.. 😂😂. I’m sure it will be lovely whatever you decide. I ran out of yarn for Holly Hedgehog, half a leg shortfall. Not sure how that happened as I bought all the pattern stated. So she won’t be ready for Xmas. So I’ve moved onto her dress, & it’s so enjoyable, like knitting baby clothes. Really fun to do. Nice to see Elf back too 😀Take care

Merry Christmas dear friend. I am presently stuck in Florida and trying to make it home to Montreal but there is a massive storm there. I hope I can still spend Christmas with my daughters. If not I will still celebrate it in my heart. Take good care and have a blast knitting on Dec 26th.

Tina, I don’t want to spoil your carefully thought out plans for the wrap but the start of the shawl isn’t as close to your face as about third way down. So be careful. It’s a lovely wrap and I’m sure all the colours will blend. So no dominant colour will make you look sickly 🤣🤣

I'm half way thru the Cabin Shawl. Love the burgundy for your color C (which is the color you'll use the most, if you follow the pattern.

Good Luck with your shawl knitting Tina. I have finished all the knitting for the fox, now I just need to put it all together. Also, finished a pair of gift socks a few nights ago and my MKAL for the December gnome is almost done. Everything is coming together nicely. Merry Christmas to you.

My Aurora Cabin colours are greys, teals and a rose gold.
I'm casting that on Boxing Day. Then on the 1st, a Starflake in purple and multitonal yarn AND a Flying Fox Wrap in as yet undecided colours!!! I shall need sedating by February 🤣🤣🤣
Of course I still haven't finished Slipstravaganza either 😵💫😜

The socks look amazing as expected 😀 I like the last combination of colours, the burgundy with the "lime" and then the salmon/coral pink with the off white. I have the pattern and was going use my Christmas yarns but I think I will knit the shawlography shawl instead that's my original plan, I do like the blue,purple version of the Arora cabin shawl, so mine can go on hold, and I write on the ball bands what letter sequence they go in
