Emma Vigeland: 'm not a huge Saint Patrick's day fan I don't know about you guys it's
Matt Binder: t's the best holiday it has to be I mean how especially for me a non-drinker it's wonderful I love it
EV: Oh yeah it's like a little like it's a little Santa Connie here in New York city like I just it's just too many people dressed up too many drunk people, that's it's, I remember not even liking it in college because we would like day drink for it and you'd be outside but it's still March so it's not nice it's not a fun weather situation to be drinking in any way.
Matt Lech: In North Dakota is just an excuse another excuse to binge drink but I have been to St. Patrick's day in Dallas where I saw an SUV in a deep ravine because it was clearly being drunk driven just minutes earlier and I also saw Snoop Lion perform.
EV: Oh okay well they do that thing in Chicago where they dye the river green I find that like just awful, the green beer also can't stand it but something that I do enjoy and that we wanted to play today this is um an old clip of Michael on st Patrick's day in 2017. Where Michael, Michael used this Irish accent that's just pretty incredible so we wanted to take some space to and some time to play this for you guys today um here's Michael Brooks with Aam in 2017 on St Patrick's day using this incredible irish accent.
I miss Michael Brooks terribly, as I’m sure everyone at MR does. Things were much funnier with him around, easier to deal with the horrors of our changing society.
Yep, the show will never be the same.
Such a beautiful/complex/funny person and commentator. Forever missed.
You miss him? He was a sack of crap.
@@freedomtranny3186 micheal would’ve have a laugh at your comment ❤️
Well Said Degenerati
Michael Brooks was funnier than most professional comedians.
He truly was. He was the whole package: incredibly brilliant, charismatic, and impeccably funny. He was taken way too soon, I still can’t get over it.
Joe Rogan also said he is really funny.
I assumed for a long time he was a professional comedian
This is incredibly true
@@FromTheFens219 same
He died just as I started to getting into politics. I used to think everybody in politics was boring then I randomly was recommended a video of his and it sucked me into the political world. RIP 🕊💐😪
I mean, you're not wrong. Not many political people manage to be both informative and entertaining like Michael was.
100% Scorch2 , I found Dr. West because of Mr. Brooks . His legacy is immeasurable. r.i.p.
Laugh until you cry means something different to me now. I can't resist, but I know I'm going to be a mess by the end because he's so funny, but gone. Michael related to everyone. I don't know how that's possible. All we can do now is remember how we related to him.
Right wing Mandela, Nation of Islam Obama, any time they take on Alex Jones.... gets me every time. Almost forgot Ken Ken and Ken
“I’m not a huge St. Patrick’s Day fan, how about you guys?”
‘I’m drunk already, Emma.’
I've been drunk since Monday in prep
The loss of Michael still makes my heart hurt.
Same. It was too soon…
it’s strange, isn’t it? oh, here we go-whenever Sam has an opportunity to say, ‘Wuster’, it’s one of his favorite words.🤣
Same...we've missed so much...
I discover Michael for the first time last spring. I was instantly obsessed. I listened for days, usually in the car and it made my days better and smarter. It was several days before I bothered to Wikipedia Michael. It was only then that I knew he was gone. 😔
"Listen to the ancient jew speak" had me rolling on the floor lol. It's truly sad that MB was taken from us so soon. RIPower.
Damn that was so fecking funny!!!!
What makes that moment so hilarious is that there's absolutely no way MB planned that. It only evolved because of earlier comment about Sam being old.
Damn!
Michael, Lissa and his family were robbed, but feck, we all were robbed by his passing.
Tragic.
@@davidbright6790 I just came back to this after watching Michael's best debates and fuck I miss Michael.
Rest in power Michael brooks you will forever be missed
2017 Sam looks like a lesbian pottery teacher at your local community college
Or a young Terry Gross.
Sam is hot AF
"Hi fellas can I join?"
"Seamus! Please! John!" 😂😂😂😂
Don't get me wrong MR is still good with Emma but I do miss the dynamic between Sam, Michael and Matt. Rest In Power Michael Jamal Brooks ✊🏻🌹
Yeah, it was so great to listen to Sam, Michael and Matt during this time. And the calls from Ronald Raygun too, and how much everyone enjoyed those calls. It was so great!
The fact that MB died so young and Kissinger is somehow still alive and kicking shows how there really is no justice in this reality.
I absolutely agree!
Only the good die young.
We'll get 'im one day.
There's no justice but what we create. To honor MB's memory, carry his values forward.
The only justice you get is the justice you get
Couldn't click this fast enough.
We miss him so much, in so many ways.
Legend.
Yup, same.
I’ve easily imagined Michael Brooks in middle age atleast three years before his death so I’m constantly shocked he died. The world needed him but his legacy lives through his colleagues.
I miss Michael’s laugh dearly
Coincidentally, I watched the old video where Michael roasts Sebastian Gorka's pain meds commerical and Sam just an hour ago. RIP dude.
Damn, I miss that guy - the Irish accent was the only one he couldn't do, but the Irish-American cariacature is hilarious. Also he was one of the few voices from the US who really had a good grasp of international politics. A brilliant thinker and hilarious satirist.
Pretty spot on to me lol
Agreed. Love Michael Brooks, an amazing thinker and an inspiration... though he couldn't do an Irish accent, he was fairly good at most accents
@@galedribble9535 definitely not
@@darragh47 he nailed it. All the way down to the racism and spousal abuse
@@galedribble9535 the irony 🙄
Never knew I could miss a person so much that I never actually met in real life. RIP Michael Brooks.
I miss him so much I can't even describe it. I never met him, I came into the show late compared to other people, but he really did help transform my way of thinking about being a leftist. He was so serious and so committed but he made space for humor and empathy, and I miss his humor so much. Rest in power Michael Brooks.
fuck i miss hearing brooks cackling through sam's mic
How great it would be to have Michael in these times.
I am laughing but at the same time my heart hurts. I miss you brother.
How does Sam somehow look younger and older at the same time in this clip?
Because Sam is hot AF. That's exactly why he's aging so well
I remember being hopelessly hooked on booze to the point of having no sense of being hungry and I didn't need a special day of the year to replenish at 9 am yesterday's beer buzz. The only difference on St Patrick's day was that I was surrounded by amateurs in stupid hats. It's good to live sober every passing day and every year I get a sad reminder of waisted younger year potential.
It makes me not miss it as much. It doesn't have the flair it had when i was an alcoholic. It not much, but I'll take what i can get
Couldn't have said it better. Congratulations! I have 14 years myself.
Congratulations my guy! For real
Ladies & Gentlemen, F. Scott Fitzgerald!
Congratulations, alcohol addiction seems like hell.
Your strength of will is admirable.
Did you wean off through a rehab or do it at home?
I assume you didn’t naively go cold turkey, as alcohol withdrawal can cause deadly grand mal fits.
5:03 got me weak and I'm tears right now, what comedic timing. He used to keep Sam in tears. "Come here lass, we're decompressing from beating black kids at our cop job" 🤣🤣🤣... Oh my God that man was so amazing, so dope I hope you knew how much we loved you. Damn... Michael, why it had to be you 😢... Miss you so much bro
Michael Brooks’ impression of Sam just being as antisemitic as possible was always so god damn funny
Rest in power
'Listen to the ancient jew speak!'😂😂
I feel that Emma may have missed why Brandon brought up venomous snakes in the context of St Patrick 🙃
I couldn't believe that she and Matt weren't absolutely losing their minds about how funny that was.
Yeah I think that went over their heads lol
I dont get it
@@SnyderChips07 the legend surrounding St. Patrick is that he drove all the snakes out of Ireland
@@Medusalaughing and since there was never any snakes in Ireland historically, what do you think the Catholic Saint was really driving off the land?
Let have a toast to the memory of Michael Brookes. 🥂 I miss so much, and I only knew him because of TMR. So thank you Sam and TMR for bringing him into my life. May he rest in peace.
I miss Michael horribly.🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
Forgot how FUNNY Michael was, damn we lost a good one.
I miss this man.. rip Micheal Brooks
This video made me both laugh and cry. Michael is still so missed.
Still can’t believe Michael is gone. He was the best spokesperson for radical change through peace and he has greatly inspired me with his message. He is my biggest inspiration and cute him regularly
What a wonderful soul. Dedicated to making the world better maybe the brightest light we lost in 2020..
I love how Michael makes Sam crack up. Always brings a smile to my face.
I miss Michael. His laugh and sense of humor.
Emma sounds like my grandmother in the beginning of this😂
I love MB’s “Sam Seder Voice”
I miss that guy so much. RIP Brooks
I can't remember the subject of the first TMR video I watched but Michael Brooks went on one of his hilarious tears just going on and on about whatever it was, jumping from one accent to another and had me laughing so hard I was crying. I was an instant fan and have been watching TMR every since. I kind of forgot just how naturally funny he was, I miss him.
My nervous system is fried. Crying & snorting. I love you, Michael.
Michael's Nelson Mandela is still the funniest fucking thing I've ever heard
"The face and glasses" put me at ease.
Didn't expect to both laugh my ass of and cry this morning. RIPower Michael , thanks for everything you did and single so glad I got to meet you ❤️
MB was a gem of a lefty.
Michael left us treasure after treasure. We will hear you laughing Bud, forever.🍻
Brooks was so sharp. Miss him terribly. Rest in Power.
I truly miss Michael so much. Every time I see one of these clips I'm reminded of another hilarious thing he'd said or another awesome voice. His Sam voice cracked me up every single time.
We should always remember those who are our ancestors.
I only listened to Michael for a little over a year.
One of the most knowledgeable international crises was willing to have an extended conversation about global affairs. His voice lives on which all can ask for.
As someone who started watching shortly after Michael passed, I have noticed that the show used to have a more lighthearted tone to it. There are laughs now, still, of course. I feel, though that I missed out on a lot of laughs. Michael really seems to have brought so much to the show. I need to watch more of his content.
"Seamus, please!" Lmfao
Proof you can be edgy and funny and not come off bigoted. Take notes comics complaining about "cancel culture"
Bill Maher
I feel like an idiot in the past year I've been watching MR and had no idea he passed till today when how am I so sad about someone I didn't know and who has been gone before I started watching him everything he did had me rolling especially his awesome laugh and was inspired when he was serious about compassionate issues.
Irish guys who look like Matt Damon... lmao!
😂😂 And 😢😢 simultaneously.
RIP bro
I don't think I'll ever miss a laugh more than I miss Michael Brooks' laugh
what a beautifully funny man and team- love you guys
Michael's humour was the thing that first attracted me to this channel. No one else comes close.
He had some of the best impressions too
Rip MB dude really made it so dbs ppl like me would understand world events.
I loved this so much
Thank u Michael brooks for making us all smile
Michael, the GOAT. RIP(ower)
I’m not even embarrassed to say that I cried when I heard that he died and I don’t fucking cry
Long live Michael Brooks🙏🏾💯♥️
The thing that brought me to TMR was Brooks' Right Wing Mandela. The first time I heard it I was in literal pain from laughing. Miss that guy. Keep that fire burning.
Hahaha: Right wing mandela, Nation of Islam Obama, His general impersonation of Sam, And the highly underated 'George W Bush Bullying Sam Harris'. All Classic Michael characters that I wish were animated into a TV show.
@@thenewyearsgrinchdang I need to find w bullying Sam Harris 😅😂😂
Danarchy is the realist one. Love you brother.
hhahhahahaha SNOOP LIONNNNNNN i rememeber that shit lol
"Listen to the ancient Jew speak" I died all over again
I was laughing so hard at that I had cramps
I miss Michael’s cackle every single time I hear it again.
PS: Are there other compilation uploads? Especially his Chris Matthews always wrecks me.
Thanks for this. Miss you MJB ✊🏾🖤💯!
Rest In Power, Michael Brooks 🕊 funny, smart, passionate, gone too soon
MIchael was so good with the accents and ad libs....
Rest in power Michael. Forever lived and missed.✊🏻
Brandon sneaks in with the joke of the video at the end there
Today wasn't that bad around my job near Penn Station in midtown Manhattan. Usually, every year, Penn Station is like the floodgates of where a bunch of drunk teens from Long Island and New Jersey basically take over midtown south and just sloppily not handle their liquor in classic fashion. Vomit, fights, passing out.
As young people tend to do. Been there. This year was incredibly mild though. Good, because I was dreading it. And like Sam & someone else in that old clip said, I don't even think most of these kids are even Irish, lol. Basically it's been turned into another American drinking holiday, much like Cinco de Mayo.
*Edit:* RIP MJB ✊🏾✌🏾
Omg the comment about “releasing a bag of venomous snakes” made me roll over in laughter. How could you keep such a straight face and then just proclaim that?
He's so deadpan that even the co-hosts don't, I think, fully appreciate what he'd saying
Long live Michael Brooks.
OH MY GOD SAM LOOKS SO YOUNG
"listen to the ancient jew speak" ENDED me
edit: LMAAOOOO listening again and i missed michael saying "sorry that we killed jesus" at 3:41 omfg
Michaels Ken, Ken and Ken April Fools is my favorite thing this show has ever done!
It’s crazy. I had just become a fan of majority report. I had watched it from time to time, but 2019-2020 is when I really started becoming a fan. I saw a video of Michael talking about trump supporters at a diner, and it was excellent commentary. I binged a bunch of his videos, and it was maybe a couple months later and he was gone. I would love to hear his thoughts on so many things now. RIP.
Same here
RIP Michael Brooks. Your wisdom and compassion are still unsurpassed today
Rest in power ....holy shit dude I miss him
When he died…it shook me to the core. And i am pretty matter-of-fact about most deaths, even family.
Here was someone i didnt know, but it was a loss for the progressive movement and humanity as a whole
Michael made me laugh so easily. Miss him!
Brooksy the legend I am glad we have so much of his Material, King.
2:16 I recognize Jamie's laugh in the background lmao
OMG this was so funny, Michael was the best
LOL Lech, you have to throw in a wooden staff in with the snakes to see if there's a bloke that can banish those things with it.
Lecht wasn't the one who made the snake joke
Michael is what pulled me into TYT and Minority Report I miss him and his takes
Please please please more Michael clips on the channel
Wdym they're already on the channel. You just have to watch the old episodes
Look how young Sam looks. His beard must add about 15 years. God we miss Michael.
He looks better older with the salt and pepper beard. Most men do
The thumbnail alone made me crack my ass off😂
Snakes in an Irish Bar lolol Brandon always with the jokes.
Listen to the ancient Jew 😂
Michael's basically doing Saul Rosenberg from the jerky boys... And it's spot on. 👌
lmao I love Michael's Sol Rosenburg. I was beaten unmercifully when I went the St. Paddy's day parade and my shoes and wig fell off.
Michael could make the most depressive news funny .
he was a great intellectual. He had a real gift for speaking and I love he'd say "Read ____" to give you the citation. He was a rarity.
When Michael broke into Right Wing Mandela, I died
Michael had many very funny impressions, especially NOI Obama and Right Wing Mandela. But in many ways, there is a real argument that his Sam Seder impression was the best
