That's the GREAT thing about vegetables, their taste! I make chicken stir fry. Steamed chicken, rice, carrots, water chestnuts (have no nutritional value but add crunch), etc. My 20 yr old nephew came over with a few friends. I made chicken stir fry. I had no water chestnuts so I took Brussel sprouts and cut them in half or in quarters and added them to the stir fry. I threw in vidalia onions I cut up. Wow, they inhaled that. I was glad I made a huge pot of that. Three college kids. Three hours later, about 7pm they were playing games and they ordered 3 large pizza's. Haha...growing and hungry. One guy said "what are these green things?" meaning brussel sprouts. He had never had one before and loved them. They each took a bowl of stir fry with soy sauce and their second bowls they used sweet n sour sauce. I was well pleased the veggies were so well received. That is a lot of back breaking hard work harvesting those vegetables. What an enjoyable video, thanks.
Absolutely another spectacular beautiful shooting filming footage and a great video to watch, gorgeous captured .. beautiful sharing harvest .. Merci beaucoup Monsieur
I've been following ur farm for 2 -3yrs now . This is the greatest harvest ever! The flat dutch cabbage is my fav!!!! Only for some reason even at farm markets where I live in Indiana no one is growing it.😢 Appreciate all your hard work 💪💯
Those beets bring back so many memories of my childhood. I remember cooking the beets with Mom, to me they smelled like dirt, the you got the of the pickling liquid Mom made, yum. Sweet, sour, spices galore. Loved canning pickled beets. They were on the table every holiday.
Those small potatoes are great cooked in a pot of green beans especially the red ones. If melon/cabbage tossing ever becomes an Olympic sport, the Broyans crew will win the gold hands down.
Those potatoes look nice! I'm waiting for a good price on 75 pounds of cabbage. I'm down to 3 quarts of Sauerkraut in the pantry! That one beet looks like it would make 2 quarts of pickled beets!
My beetroots are massive this year too. 1 was 6 inches across. It's one of the rainbow striped ones.....do they go woody or are they still good to eat when they are that big? It hasn't bolted yet either. You always grow the best vegetables....I'm so happy for you that you got such a good harvest of most things on the farm. I wish I could get better weather so my other veg could grow. We'll done to the whole family. ❤
Eggplants are either male or female plants. The females have more seeds, and they can be bitter. Look under the stem cap and if the green stem hole is round, it's a male; females are slot shaped.
Logan, I’m wondering if when you’re in the melon patches and because they seem to run everywhere, you surely are stepping on the plants. Doesn’t it hurt or kill what you step on? Interesting that I have yet to see the brussel sprouts sold on the stalk anywhere near me. Great looking produce! 😉 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
All my Chioga beets were around the size of that Giant one. The leaves make the BEST greens for fried chicken sandwiches & for us we noticed the leaves are good for inflammation!!!
You should cut the giant red beets in half to test if they are woody...you don't want to sell woody red beets to customer, mand to ve honest, most red beet connoisseurs know that there is a high chance that they are woody, so to avoid them walking away when they see them, don't even offer them.
Most of those beets you are showing are too big .you wait too long to pick most of your produce, cuks, eggplant even the cabbage. Big is not always the best in veggies.
@@noneyabeeswax3200 I grew upon a farm larger than this one .Devoted to truck garden sales. Picking is necessary most every day . but letting Cucs and other vegetables get too big destroys their flavor and quality. I think Broyan's is a wonderful family farm but I was just stating what I knew from my own experience. And I do watch daily and have been since they had less than one thousand subs

Yes beets go woody, and get bland tasting.

Ngon quá
Ten pound cabbage. What would you do with that?
Still hot here. Wont be wearing a sweatshirt until November.

Usually when beets or turnips are that big the inside is hollow
Or very fibrous and woody.
bro i have never seen a can rope before please cut one and show it to the camera

Freaky veggies mutated from the sun's radiation and affects of other Interlopers

They’ve been picking every single day where have you been? When the harvest is this bountiful you can expect a lot of losses

Oh that’s it! If you throw one more leaf on the ground I will not allow my chimkinz to view this channel ever again it’s destroying them.
